Another sunny day so we thought why not go for a walk and collect some more caches. Parked up nearby and made our way to the GZ. Took a look at a few of the tightropes before managing to find this bison. No cows in the field today. 

Continued on with our walk and it wasnt long until we reached the second GZ. Walked around in circles for a while trying to look for this one in all the wrong places before deciding to read some of the previous logs which helped us narrow it down to one or the other. Eventually we found this cache, it was higher than usual places we find them, luckily despite being shorties we could still reach. 

We had noticed the nearby walk around the field and decided to take a slight detour in the hope of finding a couple more caches. Made our way to the GZ looked in lots of places before we located this cleverly hidden cache. A lovely church. We hope the council decides to save it. 

Have been wanting to do this walk for a while and finally made it happen today. After making our way down the many steps we arrived at the GZ for Mangawhai Cliff top walkway No 10. We quickly spotted the right Manuka which lead us to find this cache. Took the trackable to help it on its way. 

Unfortunately we were unable to find this cache on our way here today but luckily we had timed the tides right and could return along the beach as didnt fancy going back up the stairs.

Carried on along the trail and arrived at GZ.Knew where to look for this one but it required us to search for a while before continuing on with our walk.

After yesterdays rain and more forecast today but a break in the clouds at the moment we decided to stretch our legs and take a look for some more caches. Made our way to the start of the stonefields hertiage trail and made a nice quick find of this nicely cameoed cache. Will continue on the trail and stop off at the cafe and grab some breakfast.

We searched and searched for this one but without any luck. Sent a message to CO who gave us another clue so we went back to give it another try but still we had no luck.

After making our way through the muddy fields and stopping off at the lake we walked past #3 made our way up the hill found the hint item and added another find to our total.

Missed this one as we made our way #4 but made sure we stopped here on our way back. No problems finding this camoed container but the log is wet perhaps it could do with a plastic bag.

After making our way through the rather wet fields we followed our GPS and found this nicely camoed cache exactly as the hint suggested. Such a lovely area. Glad we had it to ourselves. We stopped to make some pictures before heading back through a bit more mud to join the trail and continue. It was a shame that we couldnt walk around the whole lake. 

A plan was made today to head over to Duder Regional Park to find some more of the caches that we have previously not found. Over the fence I went and then it was a quick find of this smurf's house. Luckily the muggles have all gone off in other directions and we had this part of the path to ourselves.

Soon had the cache in our hands but it took a little while longer before we were able to sign the log. Good fun was had doing this cache.

Must of solved this puzzle a long time ago because if it wasnt for my notes I am not so sure I would be able to solve it again now. A good idea for a puzzle that I havent come across again since. Struggled a little with the hide, spent a lot of time in the wrong place before trying one more and managing to make the find.

Heading back up the bank was much easier than coming down.

Alot of places this could of been hidden but once we found the right tree we managed to find tere's jam.Our last cache for today. 

Made our way over to Wenderholm this afternoon to collect a few more caches. It is very windy so not many people around. Parked up in the nearby car park and made our way to GZ. After reading the hint it was a nice quick find. Think we found the previous hide here, so thanks for the replacement. A lovely part of the park.

On our way back we stopped off at these information boards. Had a read and found the cache. Had to look in a couple of wrong places first and it wasnt what we were expecting. 

After a small walk around Wenderholm this afternoon in the wind. We made a quick stop off here on a way home to look for this cache. Parked up nearby, walked past the rock with the plaque on it as the description had suggested and found ourselves at the GZ were we made a nice quick find. Happy to finally get a smiley here as we struggled a couple of times with the one that was previously nearby due the huge number of muggles that hang about here. Spotted the police on the way back to the car. We wondered if they had been watching us find the cache, but no problems. 

Decided to make the most of this sunny morning and head out for a small walk this morning before heading to work this afternoon. This is our second visit to the area but it is looking different from when we were here last. Had a quick look on the wrong level before realising what was required and found another San Fran. Getting used to this cache type so that helps. 

Another morning walk on this long weekend to grab a couple more caches before heading off to work. This is our second visit for this walk but it appears to have under gone a big upgrade since we were last here. Managed to find this cache despite the very clever cameo. Another fav point from us. A great effort.

Decided to come back this afternoon to finish off the rest of the Northern Pathway series. Parked up at the nearby shopping centre and made our way down the road to the GZ. No problems making this our first find for the afternoon. 

Found fairly easy. Spotted the palms and after closer look got the cache 

Headed to Orewa today to get the lab cache and then decided to have a walk around the estuary. After a pleasant morning we now find ourselves having to dodge the rain showers. I took shelter under a tree whilst the other half of our team went off and made this find. 

Decided to come for a walk in Orewa and collect some more caches. Made our way along the path to the GZ and it wasnt long before we spotted this in your face cache. Log signed, cache replaced and on we go to the next one.

After spending the morning out with friends there was some time this afternoon to come out and collect a few more caches. When we arrived at the nearby parking area we were welcomed by not one but two rainbows we took some pictures and waited for the rain to pass before making our way to the GZ. Pretty muddy here at the moment but no problems finding this black bison.

Once at GZ we noticed a geotrail which we followed to find this peanut butter jar.Surprised they have left the red shed, but we like it.

Decided to head to check out this path and see if we could find a couple of caches.Missed this cache as we headed to wind song but as it was just about still light enough we decided to have a look on our way back. No problems grabbing this one.
