Nice easy find. Great advice about the location and how to safely find it. It was a little exposed so I fixed up its hidey hole a bit covering it with the wood that was there. Almost no cars passed while I found it on a busy Sunday afternoon. Nice! Great idea this cache. I dropped off San Diego LokiCoin 5 so it can continue tripping around. Took nothing. TFTC. SL.

Found it easily after my first unsuccessful attempt at this new location. Easy peasy after Paul303 dug it out of its gravely grave Smile Nice cache actually. I like its bag.

Good little walk although so so muddy! We went the long way around and got a good workout. GPS was all over the place. Rainy day did not help. Took a while to find but got there in the end.

Nice easy find. Very fast. Not the obvious place but not too hard.

Great little walk this. Thanks for that. Lots of white baiters about. Not the best day and no coats was not too smart. Easy find.

Very cool little cache. We parked right next to the final coords funnily enough and then went about doing the clues and ended up back at the car. Very nice clues. The elephants and lions must have had the day off Wink

Another place I never knew existed. Great little reserve. Might have to go swimming here come summer. Easy find. Great hidey hole. My first find on todays adventures. As previously stated the notebook is quite damp but still writable.

My 5th cache for the day. Nice park. Great for dog walkers and there were plenty of them. None near the cache though when I was hunting for it. Nice easy find but I was somewhat flustered by the flipping mosquitos. My god they are huge! They should be controlled by air traffic control they are that big ha-ha. I could not get out of there fast enough. I think I struck them on a day they were having a family reunion and I was the feast. Great cache though. Thanks

My third find for todays hunting. Excellent cache that finally got me to visit this place. Great title and clue. Didn't take long to find at all. Even had a little walk about after. Nobody about at all.

Yet another area I had no clue existed. My 2nd find for todays adventures. I just wandered through the forest following my nose and using the suggested updated coords until I got to about 4 metres and that is as close as I could get. With a little help from the clue I soon found it. Excellent hiding place. My luck I had to hide from pine cone collectors who would you believe it were collecting in the middle of the flipping forest write next to the cache ha-ha. Once they were gone I went about signing in etc.

Hooray after a little tip from tmann421 I went back (after my first visit turned up nothing) and within minutes had found it. Brilliant hiding spot. Almost too good. Great little cache. This reserve has so much potential. I hope they tidy it up. TFTC Cheers.

Nice easy find on a sunday afternoon. The road was so busy though and I felt a bit obvious. I guess people would just think I was using the basic facilities, or wonder why I kept walking paste them lol.

Nice little cache this one. All in good order. Love the hiding place! I have not been to this reserve for years so thanks for that. TNLN SL TFTC

A cold wet day today when I did this one. Someone turned off summer! A nice easy cache that I walked past almost everyday on my way out to the beach for runs and never had a clue it was there. Easy find and all seems in order. TNLN SL Hidden as found in good order.

Nice easy find. Was only 2 mins up the road for me so super convenient. Coords are perfect! TNLN SL TFTC

Wow the predictions of previous finders about the dear head getting a bit "ripe" were bang on. Talk about stink! Wow! I found this cache quite tricky. Could not find it as coords place you between two obviouis trees. Batteries were running low so went and got some new ones and came back only to have the same place confirmed. One tree looked stripped bare so tried the other and after 10 mins or so struck gold. Not helped by trying to keep away from that smelly dear head. Sort of grab a breath and search then run away for more air. Almost as if the cache was under water huh! Never knew this memorial was here and I am a local so thank you for that.

As below. Slip has made site impossible and dangerous to reach.

23-Feb-09
Ok so I sorted out a new cache and went up to put it in place today. Unfortunately a large slip that occurred a while back and I thought might have been cleared has had an even bigger very fresh slip come down on top of it. This make the track totally impossible to cross and very dangerous to try. I have no choice but to abandon this cache and will archive it. Thanks to all those who visited.

21-Feb-09
Will try and get out to place a new one this week. Just a little concerned the original thief might take this one also. Will advise. Ta

Has been stolen

Yep some low life loser has stolen the cache! I mean seriously....who steals a cache that is clearly marked with what to do if you find it and has very little of value? Really annoying. I have no choice but to disable it. Thanks to those who visited. Cheers

Will try and get out there this week and have a look. It was there a couple of months back when I checked. Will advise. Cheers

Fantastic cache. The tracks are easy to find and a good challenge (the one to the cache) to get the heart rate going but they are not really crazy hard. Just right. I picked a perfect winters day and went the short way to the cache and then did the fenceline loop as a warm down. Glad I did as it is a really cool walk. Lots of waterfalls etc. Excellent cache. Well done Wonderstevie.

Nice day to find this one. Second visit as first resulted in no find and many scratches. Used a second and newer gps this time to confirm coordinates are about 6 metres out. Funnily enough the clues matched where the gps took me perfectly. Anyway got lucky this time and found it. Nice hiding spot.

Best cache I have done yet. Excellent walk. The bridge has changed since last I was here I think. Easy find even with a prickly bush deciding to rip my pants. Sad Great find! I see someone had been the day before also. Passed either 3 more cachers or just some trampers on the way out.

Beaten into second place by NZcoozer. Thought I had been fast enough to get this one first but as it turns out I missed it by 30 minutes or so. Well done NZcoozer. Cool cache. I never realised the road went that far. I usually stop at the ramp. Have to admit once I got there and then read the attributes on my print out and saw "Boat required" I thought I was in trouble. Wink Luckily that's not the case.

Well an interesting cache this one turned out to be. Wink

I originally did this on the 19th. By the end of the 20th Boogie-O had found the cache and logged as a FTF. I then came along to log the FTF and found Boogie-O had already done so. Turns out in my excitement and like a complete novice I signed the back of the log book.Red Face (I have been back to check) I then never got around to logging it on this site until the 20th. So quite rightly seeing no logs and no posts Boogie-O claimed the FTF. In light of my idiocy and the fact in my eyes my logging mistake made my job only half completed I am conceding the FTF to the much more thorough Boogie-O. Well done mate. Big Grin

A very cool cache. Loved the clues and the beach is one of my favs. Well done Wonder Stevie.

Third find for today. Pretty easy find using the clue. Very witty clue might I add. I felt a little dodgy as there were lots of muggles and I was trying not to look like some weirdo hanging about lol. Thanks for the cache. Fantastic park by the way. Kids would love this place!

5th find for the day. This one took a bit of sniffing about. Hmmm maybe sniffing is a bad choice of word as my helper stood in some doggy doo doo and from then on it was "try to do anything but sniff" lol. Found it eventually. Didn't have time to do the walk but it looks great. Cache is in perfect well maintained order.

Second find for the day. Teamed up with Wonder stevie for this one as my usual crew were doing other things. Easy find. Great area. Needs work though as it is very very full and very wet. Needs new log book also

4th find for today. Cool area. Nice view. I loved the clue. Witty! Very easy to find. TFTC

Last find for today. Again teamed up with Wonder Stevie. Happened upon "Punga and Paua" (very nice to meet you) on this cache as they had turned up in the area at around the same time. Rather amusing as we tried to hide the cache under the car on their first drive by but it soon became apparent we were safe and they were on the same mission as us. I must admit I first thought it was a local asking why so many cars had stopped here during the day as there seemed to be a few visits today. TFTC

- Pink Flamingo (just figured out what it was)
+ Green dice

Take care entering and leaving the road. Loose gravel makes traction slippery and causes embarrassing wheelies. Smile

Letterbox 4 has been replaced; It is now a metal letterbox but the colour is still green.

Fanatasic Cache! A lot of work but extremely rewarding to finally be holding the cache. Obviously a lot of hard work and planning went into making this cache. Thanks for the effort!

Because we made an error decoding the name we ended up searching for the cache in a reserve about a kilometer away from where it was actually hidden. Big Grin And ironically the incorrect location was smack dab on top of a toi toi, so we spent nearly 3 hours searching in the rain till dark. When we returned the following day the lack of fence alerted us to the fact we might be way off track. Once we realised our error we didn't take too long to find it, but wondered at the sensibility of hiding it in a toi toi bush where we and many other searchers cut their hands to pieces. [xx(] However the find was made all the more satisfing due to the difficulty.

Great cache! First successful 'Blarghster code' find for the day. After 2 'crew members' in the back seat suffered severe car sickness on the drive there, we had trouble finding due to heavy cloud cover and bush canopy obscuring GPS receiver. Found eventually and happily returned to the car park and realised we'd forgotten to record the LL code number! A quick run back remedied this. TNLN TFTC

3rd successful 'Blarghster code' find for the day. Nice easy cache. Turned up after dark to avoid muggles but still had to wait a while for the coast to clear.

All the trees in the area are in the process of being removed, in fact there are only two trees left standing, one of which hides this cache. I imagine, judging by the level of work going on, it will also be gone within a few days so the cache needs to be repositioned urgently.

The second successful 'blarghster code' find for the day. A bleak miserable day ruined what would have otherwise been a fantastic day. TNLN. TFTC

31-Jul-07
Nice area in my own backyard so to speak that I had not visited for years. Great for exploring. Anyway I ran this one in the rain and almost sat on my backside as the initial part of the track was slippery. I knew walking was the better option lol. Great track I never knew existed. Found the cache easily enough. Beaten into second place, oh well, almost a FTF Smile Cool cache. Thanks. Covered with some old branches just to make it feel a little safer. Coordinates were smack on.

Nice easy cache to get to. Took a bit of searching though. Very well hidden even when almost tripping over it. Everything appears to be in order.
