Logs for E&M Potgieter

30-Dec-13
Oh no, not having a good day. First time we went out we left the gps at home, not that it helped the 2nd time because we still could not find it.

25-Dec-13
No luck, and do you know how hard it is to behave "normally" on a beach full of people

Again, just imposible to be normal when the beach is full of people Sad

22-Dec-13
went up the path, lovely building ... unfortunately they don't serve day visitors so no tea and scones for us Sad

yippee, two in a row

21-Dec-13
Also did not get an answer to our e-mail, but did find it a few days ago

was starting to doubt our ability to find anything! But yes we got it. Was a bit damp so we put the log book into a seperate sealed plastic bag, took a doggie sticker and left a little yellow taxi.

did not get this one, think we came in from the wrong entrance. As it is across the road from where we are staying on holiday we wil try again

19-Dec-13
Unfortunately lost cell phone connection and could not use GPS to find any of the places on our list today. At least we got some stunning photos of the area and the gannets and terns on their nests

Walked this track up and over, and back again thinking we could do it without GPS ... but no luck

Without GPS we were lost!

Ha ha, loved the reference to Rod Stewart, but could not find this one either

18-Dec-13
found it a little lower than expected, so all good for shorties like us

thought the first find was too obvious ... opened a margerine container full of doggie poo!

didn't find this one either and not sure how to behave "normally" when there are lots of folk around the area - still beginners.

after a couple of attemtps of sticking our hands into places that contained only yucky litter, we gave up

17-Dec-13
Nice easy find for our first one in New Zealand

seems we found something else -another cache which is "unpublished" GC4E1PY Sad

or at least we think we did - it was not what we typically find but did have a log book with a coin and a nut inside the cache
