Enjoying the last days of my annual leave . Thought why not go and watch the sunset and find a cache at the same time. Great spot, I disturbed mum kangaroo and her Joey whilst hunting. TFTC TNLN

Wow, after seeing this published I automatically logged the coords into Google earth to get a better look at the territory. Agh, this is my kind of brain numbing, arm and leg scratching sort of cache. Plus it was a BIG rock - rocks. What was meant to have been a mountain bike ride today a little further north in Jarrahdale, instead I convinced Steve my riding buddy and geocaching virgin this is a better idea. Note : I think he is still my friend ?
Anyway we parked and walked the two km , also area is in dieback quarantine at the moment. So thus walking in is the only way and being conscious of the fact as well. Wash shoes after to stop spreading the contamination.
Back to the two km walk, track was ok but then you have to start ascending. There is a track going up to the cache but the 2 km is as mathematical boffins will tell you the adjacent side of a right angle triangle whilst we are actually climbing the Hypotenuse. Enough Pythagoras !!
Thanks AusTrackers for a great cache location and it is also my first 1st to find. Now back to the scratches on my legs from going the wrong way and ...... never mind . A first to find was well worth it. TFTC and to every one else. The walk is worth it. The views from there and also the rock formations are the things that make caches like this so enjoyable.
