Out for a couple of "night" geocaches with the youngest. She loved finding them the other day and wanted to go out at night to find some. Got here just on dusk to find the few in the area.The youngest was to sure about going off the path but she was brave and lead the way to GZ. Soon spotted the clever hide. Thanks for hiding.

Had another look at the coordinates and we were searching a couple of meters out. Narrowed in on GZ and noticed something that worked with the clue. Bingo cache found. 

Took the daughter out for her first Geocache hunt, and my first find in over 600 days! Took a few minutes to find this one but eventually spotted it after reading a couple of logs. Thanks for the hide. 

Took the daughter out for her first Geocache hunt, and my first find in over 600 days! Found this one laying in the open so a nice easy cache to start with. Tucked it back away when we returned it. 

Freeing up for other hiders 

Due to works currently happening, there is no need to answer question 1 at this time. I'll amend the questions if needed once the works have been completed. 

As this one has gone missing a few times, and I just can't maintain it properly I'll open up the space for someone else to place a cache here.

On a bit of a training run to see where I'm at. The plan for the day was to head up to the Summit via the Mahuakura Track and head back via Ruapane back to the Grey road carpark. Started a little later than was ideal as the heat of the day took a bit more out of me. All up just over 4 hours and 15kms covered.

Hurting a little bit by now, so nearly gave up on this one just to get back to the car. Eventually spotted the cache a little closer to the track than first thought. Thanks for the hide.

Took a different route home so I could stop here and find a cache. Loved the cache design, thanks for the laugh. 

Been wanting to visit this place for a while now. The family needed a walk, so I thought this would be the perfect spot. We really enjoyed the walk to the waterfall, and even spent a bit of time splashing around in the shallows. Only had this cache loaded up as phone reception was dicey, so will have to come back for the others. Found the cache without any troubles. Thanks for the hide. 

Stopped here to have dinner while on the way North. While the family went to the nearby playground I set about working through this Virtual. Enjoyed reading a bit about her history.

I've ignored this one for a while, but was close by and attempted without the GPS. Found a power pole, a guard rail, and something that's minty. Thanks for the average cache. 

Here with the family to spend some time in the bush. A small detour to find this cache, and with the amount of fav points, I was excited to see what was at GZ. I wasn't disappointed! What an amazing cache, I really enjoyed this find.

I spotted the cache upon first look but dismissed it as rubbish. Checked all other spots before returning back to this spot and with a closer look I realised that it was the cache. Thanks for the hide. 

A nice simple find, a few ducks with ducklings nearby, as well as a nest full of eggs near GZ. Thanks for the hide. 

Took the long way home so I could find this cache. Checked another spot first before expanding the search and spotting something out of place. Nicely done, and well constructed. Thanks for the fun hide.

Needed a couple more points to escape the labyrinth, so took a detour on the way home. A simple find once at GZ. TFTC.

Been meaning to find this cache for a while now, as been close to it a few times now. A quick find today, thanks for the hide. 

Took a few attempts at these puzzles for the numbers to reveal themselves. They were a fun solve. Looked in a few spots and enjoyed having a climb at GZ, but couldn't find anything. Had another think about the hint and an idea came in my head. Had a quick look around I spotted something and bingo the cache was found. Nicely done!! 

I've always enjoyed the corrugated art work in the Tirau area, so I enjoyed working through the AD Lab, and seeing a few pieces I hadn't seen before. Todays weather wasn't the best to be hunting geocaches, but there was just enough tree cover at GZ to hunt without getting too wet. Took a while to find the cache, as got distracted by the geotrails in the area. Had given up and was checking a couple of other spot I hadn't considered on the way up the bank and bingo cache found. 

I have a mixed feelings about this place and previous geocaches, as I usually leave here with DNF's. Not today however as after a little hunt I was awarded with a find. Thanks for the placement.

I've put myself in some scary places while trying to find a cache, so I was up for the challenge. Took a few minutes to find the right place to stick my hand. Thanks for the hide. 

Wondered where this cache would be hidden, and after a quick scratch around decided to walk the plank, and arr me hearties the cache was easily found. Thanks for the fun hide. 

Made this one harder than it should of been. Missed it by 100mm or so on a few passes. Eventually got it though, thanks for the hide.

Had to wait for a few muggles and their four legged friends to move on before we could start the search. This gave me time to read the hint a couple of time which helped find the well hidden cache pretty quickly. Thanks for the fun hide.

Made sure I found a couple of caches today for IGD. Didn't have much time today to fit that in, but I had a couple of nearby solved puzzles which I thought would be perfect for today. Enjoyed solving this puzzle, a great one for beginner puzzle solvers. Found the cache nice and quickly, thanks for the placement.

Another great puzzle, I have looked for this one on a previous day, but then the sun was going down and I only had my phone for light. More luck today as I quickly spotted the cache. A bit of local knowledge, and a small bit of help from google, I managed to solve this multi from home. I've had to final coords for a few weeks now, so all that was required was a short walk to the final from where I parked the car. Didn't take long to spot the nicely hidden cache. Thanks for the fun cache, I love the theme! 

As with the other nearby Beastly cache, this solve was done at home, so only needed to pick up the final today. I had thought I'd been everywhere at the gardens but turns out this path was one I had never ventured up before. Took a few minutes to make the find, thanks for the fun puzzle and cache.

Out with a group today just to enjoy the bush and everyone's company, and also grab a cache or too as we passed them. The plan today was to head to Hurunui Hut from the Kaimai summit, and with the weather being pretty average we took our time over the slippery terrain. Took us about 2 1/2 hours to the hut and about the about the same back to the car.

Glad my wife and daughters weren't with me when I found this cache, as we would of definitely had to go inside. Took a minute or 2 to locate the well hidden cache, nicely done.
