Logs for Mr. Walker

14-Dec-11
The Harvey Visitor Centre and Stirling Cottage Tea Room is one of the best kept secrets in the Southwest. We have been here on numerous occasions, but haven't gone geocaching until now. TFTC. Mr. Walker from Saskatchewan, Canada.

20-Nov-11
I have lived in Harvey for about 1 year and been to the wonderful bbq area and play park numerous times. One of Harvey's best kept 'secrets'! Found it and replaced it. TFTC.

I am a fan of this rock icon, but the mural was disappointing. I thought it looked more like a caricature. Lovely shoreline and park. Thanks for bringing us to the location we would of otherwise passed. Note: There are no Travel Bugs inside the cache. Mr and Mrs Walker from Saskatchewan, Canada. TFTC

I have lived in Harvey for nearly a year at this is the first time I have ever been here. TFTC. Not sure what the clue meant until I spotted the location of the cache. Mr. Walker from Saskatchewan, Canada

The cache was intacted and placed a few metres away from the original location. A tree has been knocked over the palm and branches are everywhere around the rock. Owner may need maintenence. Took geocoin and left some Canadian coins ($ cents, not trackables). Loved Wave Rock and the area, one night in the caravan park wasn't enough. TFTC. Mr. Walker and the wee Walkers from Saskatchewan, Canada.

Found it quite easily, my 4 year old followed the geotrail straight to it. Loved the hike up onto the humps and thanks for bringing us out to Mulka's Cave. TFTC. Mr. Walker and the wee Walkers from Saskatchewan, Canada.

We had so much fun at Wave Rock. One night tenting at the caravan park wasn't enough. TFTC. Mr. Walker and the wee walkers from Saskatchewan, Canada.

Found the cache after hiking the former railroad track. Great camping spot! I thought the cache was somewhere else in the park, but the GPS and my kids lead me right to it. Traded a few items and signed log. TFTC. Mr. Walker and the wee Walkers from Saskatchewan, Canada.

Found the cache on our camping trip through Dryandra Woodland. Loved the Barna Mia nightwalk and the peacefulness of the park, plenty of wildlife sightings. TFTC. A few things were swapped. Mr Walker and the wee Walkers from Saskatchewan, Canada.

This is my third time visiting the tower. Very windy and rough today. TFTC. Mr. Walker from Saskatchewan, Canada.

Third of four for the day. Out caching with the wee Walkers and enjoyed the gnomes down the road. Made us laugh! TFTC. Took a few little trickets and left some Canadian pins and coins. Mr. Walker from Saskatchewan, Canada Note: the cache contents were SOAKED! If it wasn't for the Glad ziplock baggie, the log would of been ruined. Over an inch of water was sitting inside - we request the owner visit to replace container.

Found it. Out caching with Mrs Walker and the wee Walkers for Father Days 2011. The 4x4 trail is no longer accessible by vehicle as a very large tree has been felled across the trail and I assume Dept of Natural Resources or the like, dug some pits and placed some gravel piles to block traffic into the bush. Otherwise, the cache was a leisurely 500m walk from were we parked. Cache container and contents are in excellent order, but we used the hint of a previous cacher's log and found it at S33.04.533 and E116.01.940 instead of the listed coords. Happy caching from Saskatchewan, Canada. Left Travel Bug, Took pocket knife. TFTC.

03-Aug-11
Out caching with Mrs Walker and the wee walkers on a spring day. We enjoyed the walk out to the cache and found it quickly once ground zero was located. Man oh man, I thought Canada had bad mosquitos, but these mozzies (skeeters in Canadian slang) were terrible. Thanks for bringing us out to this spot.

21-May-11
Thanks for the hide. Mr. Walker was out caching with the Wee Walkers and found it easily after the hint. Great beach and a great day to visit it. Found lots of cuttlefish and shells for the chickens to peek at as well. Took a key chain and left a Canadian coin. P.s. The cache was quite wet (log dry in ziploc bag) and no sign of any geocoins.

Thanks for taking us to an interesting park and shoreline. I have traveled to Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland and it is truly a spectular sight. TFTC.

16-Apr-11
Pretty sure we found ground zero, but came up empty. Saw a redback spider in the bricks, so we didn't investigate too close.

12-Mar-11
Here in town for the Woolorama - great country fair. As I was getting ready in the parking lot another car load of people were talking of geocaching... so we only logged the cache after the SideandHeek gang missing them by a few minutes. Awesome little oasis! I loved the park and of course the big ram. TFTC Mr Walker from Saskatchewan, Canada.

01-Feb-11
Found last month, but forgot to log. Thanks for bringing us to our first WA geocache! - signed log and left a few Canadian coins.

Not sure if we did the puzzle right or not as we came up empty. We will have to try again. Sad

I looked up this geocache back in Canada and forgot about it. Then I came across Patrick White's plaque by accident. Luckily I had my GPSr and the camera. Some of the authors I have read including Jack London where his stories of the Klondike Gold Rush in Dawson City, Yukon are a must. TFTC. Mr. Walker and the wee walkers from Saskatchewan, Canada
