These doors have been tagged by the local kids, too bad. The property is a First Nations office located in Sioux Lookout, Ontario Canada.
At a time not to long ago, CPR had one of the few train stations that existed between the tracks at Ignace, Ontario. It was torn down around 1998 however, the mural depicts beautifully what once was.
I set out in search of the CPR Ignace, Ontario depot. It was one of the rarer type that was located between the east and west bound tracks. In its place I found Don Hay a CPR engineer waiting for his train to arrive and who was kind enough to point out the old location plus all that remained of the engine watering station. I have included a wall mural of the station that once was...
This old girl sits by the side of the road as an attraction for the hotel/restraunt. Judging by the number of nests that have been built in her cracks, it has been a long time since she was fired up.

I remebered reading this one but missed getting some of the details which I will have to do on my next trip up. In the meantime, this old girl with her two wheels was probably a shunt engine used in the Sioux Lookout CNR yard. I will try to track down some of the older folks in the community and will see what other details I can offer on her history.
I don't think you will accept this one because I could not find a sign for this old CNR rail bed located outside of Sioux Lookout Ontario near the smaller community of Alcona. The main line is about 1km north of this rail bed and is still in use today. This particular rail way bed is currently being used by the Ontario Snowmobile Association and the way that I found it was through a friend of mine who lives and snowmobiles in the Sioux Lookout area.

This one is located on Highway 17 between Dryden and Thunder Bay Ontario at a camp ground called Maki Bay. We were stopped for road work when I saw it out the window, so I am only guessing that it is being used by the camp ground owners to store the support materials for their enterprise. TFTH OH-MY-GéOSH

A beautiful rainbow, mans best friend and a grouping of Inukshuk, what more do you need to help you find your way home? This grouping (four in all)is located at the road entrance to the Thunder Bay International Airport and I am only claiming the one that my GPS and dog are guarding. TFTH OH-MY-GéOSH

If you are flying into Sioux Lookout, Ontario Canada there is the NDB approach which has a colocated DME or you can fly the GPS approaches. A most enjoable hunt. OH-MY-GéOSH
