We're still cleaning up after the fires. Sadly I can't restore this cache in a manner that seems fit to respect it's past favorites.
25-Jan-21
Puggle Puzzle was sadly totally destroyed in the black summer bush fires, along with a house, vehicles, fencing and a lot of trees and pasture. The CO is planning to replace the cache once they have finished clearing up from the fires and rebuilding. Apologies for the delay with getting it back online, we have had a lot to deal with in the last year or so and the cache slipped our mind. It will be back bigger and better in the near future. Context is important, Sarsfield and many other areas were hammered during the fires and I'm sure there are many CO's who would love to get their caches ready to go but are preoccupied with other things.

Unfortunately the cache was totally destroyed in the bushfire, I'll try to get something together to replace it.

Cache has been muggled and is gone I'll start making a replacement... getting tired of this sillyness.
Checked today after a couple of DNFs. All good, in the expected spot and in reasonable condition. I may have to crank up the difficulty if this keeps up
30-Oct-17
Checked today & original container is damaged. Temporary container in place until repairs can be completed.
22-Oct-17
Temporarily disabled due to damaged container. Scheduled for maintenance in one week from now.
25-Sep-17
Houston we have a problem. Part two of this cache needs some attention & will be disabled until the evening of 25/9/17.
Checked everything out & all is well. TB Safe House is good to go

Checked cache yesterday and all is in tip top condition and where it should be This cache was muggled some time ago so perhaps recent visitors have happened across the old container, which I have been unable to locate.

Sadly the building that was the main attraction for this cache has now completely fallen down and does not really warrant a cache there any more.

After checking on this and finding it missing we replaced the cache today. Coordinates unchanged but cache tweaked slightly.
LOL, found this with some difficulty. My failed attempt at stealth left me with a delivery man in a van smiling at me knowingly. TFTC.
24-Jan-17
Found it today but it was lying in plain sight near GZ. We popped it back very nearby but it may need a quick check next time the CO is passing by. Thanks for bringing us to a lovely spot we would have missed otherwise TFTC.

Found it, needs some TLC as we found it lying on the ground near GZ. I popped it back in a logical looking spot.
Found it
It was bit of an adventure as we approached GZ from the beach, took the wrong path and happened across a large smoldering log that some numptie had lit the night before. Reported that to the fire brigade, the life guard on the beach and warned a couple having a picnic very nearby as it was starting to flare up a little with the onshore breeze. We then decided to choose another path to GZ. Having found the cache we returned to the road above just in time to flag down the fire brigade who had taken the wrong turn and were heading away from the fire! On our way out we drove past the turn off to confirm that the fire brigade had taken the right turn and spotted them near the fire.
So fire brigade called; redirected and fire extinguished thanks to this cache. To make the whole episode even more random we bumped into the couple who were having the picnic near the burning log a couple of hours later in Eden at the Whale Museum (what..) and they confirmed that the fire brigade indeed found it & put it out.
Who says geocaching is uneventful.
