With the obvious clues and comments I wonder if this hide has been displaced. Some debris and signs that there has possibly been some maintenance due to collision??? 

Looked high and low no.luck 

Great hide. Took a bit of persuading to stop the kids from going for a dip across the road.. 

What a mooving experience. We were very cowtious about finding this one. Thanks. PS be careful of wildlife in this spot. We also found a gecko!

Seeing the comments below I can see why we failed to find.
Ah well it was a lovely walk on a winters day the lake was pretty. 

Kids found this one. I took them on a nice 3km "forced march" around the lake and this provided a good distraction from the "are we there yets". Couldnt convince my daughter to part with her sparkly bangle as a trade though so made a note of our visit and left it as we found it. 

A bit on the soggy side but it was a nice easy find to back up a DNF at another spot.
Pencil needs a sharpen if anyone has one handy. 

Awww a DNF. Kids werent impressed so we might have to have another try so they can do a swap. Strange that it is a large cache and we couldnt find  

Our first find!! 6 yr old is hooked. Great end to an Easter long weekend camping at the Wharncliffe Campgrounds.
