I tried to archive this cache several weeks ago, but it doesn't seem to have posted my log.

As I haven't been geocaching for quite a while, I think it's time to archive my caches. 

Found while I was out for an early morning walk along the Yarra on my first visit to Melbourne. Thankfully, there was no one around at the time, and I was able to spot the cache quickly. TFTC 

What an awesome idea for a cache. I lived in Hobart 40 years ago, and as this is my first trip back, I decided to mark my visit by finding a cache. So glad I found this one as it also marks the first cache I've found in Tasmania. Definitely deserves a favourite. 

Time to archive this.

We thought we had an obvious spot but didn't find anything there. Then I spotted an object lying exposed on the ground a few metres away, and realised it was the cache after retrieving it. We signed the log and placed it where we thought it might have been. TFTC

Shortly after, a member of the local neighbourhood watch turned up to enquire about our presence. Was out caching with duncdonut73 and kellyxley. We were all searching different spots when I finally managed to uncover the cache. TFTC 

After leaving the rest of our friends, Dunc and I returned to find the Super Battledroid. Our GPSRs led us in several different directions, but we eventually tracked it down. TFTC

Returned to WP3 with Dunc after more than a year to find the nicely camouflaged coordinates for the final. We spent several minutes deciding how to approach the GZ, before building up some courage to head in. After spending quite a while searching several locations, I finally caught a glimpse of something familiar. It was great to finally come back and tick this one off the list. TFTC

We started searching in separate locations, and Dunc found the cache in the first place he looked. TFTC

Came by with Dunc to look for the tube. This was actually my second time here, but the first with my geocaching equipment. Again I had preconceived ideas about what I was looking for, but after putting those aside, I spotted the cache a few metres from where I was searching before. TFTC MDV

Was out caching with duncdonut73 and kellyxley. After caching for more than three years, I finally saw my first tiger snake on the walk to this one. Thankfully, it quietly slithered away to let me continue along the path. Dunc found the croc at the GZ. TFTC 

Time to archive this one. 

Just checked on the cache and it was still tucked away in its hiding place. But as kids also geocache, I thought it would be best to remove the metal tin. 

Looks like the council has done a major clean-up at the GZ and most of the plants have been removed. I'll have to do a bit of work to move and replace this cache.

We searched the GZ earlier, but failed to locate the cache. Our GPSRs were leading us away from the more obvious spot, but we ignored them. After a while, we decided to give up, however, we did remove quite a bit of rubbish from there. After finding most of the other caches in the area, we returned for another attempt. After another extensive search, we were just about to give up when we finally spotted the well hidden cache. TFTC
