After heading to the airport in a hurry I had suprisingly more than 1 hour left. To get to the cache & back tooks mit 35 mins - to warm & moist night. Quick found, many thanks from Berlin!

Spladem and C@H picked me up late in CBD and beside the 2 x FTF we got some more around here - assisted caching. Many thanks from Berlin!
Spladem and C@H picked me up late in CBD and drove like a "german" for FTF. I had GPSr and torch with me but I swear without any of the default GC equipment this day would have been the same successful as it was as both guys are prepared for 3. Many thanks for 2 x FTF, the ride and the tea - with milk, they really know how to end these days!

This was even the last (sequence sensitive) cache of this series during this recently started day. As it was the easiest one of the 3 it was even the best having this at the end. No muggles, no parrots, no light - but everything not needed. .

I changed the order and after getting CTU Mark III minutes before, I ended up here, stuffed my belongings in the lower tree and did the ascent. Signed the log at 00:34 and descend down to grab the bike in order to finalize this series at CTU Mark I.

In planning the Melbourne night trips I added this tree T5 to the "wanted" list and put the 20m static line into the backpack. Attempting in Melbourne I had a closer look to the remarks and recognised the real hight is slightly above the physical line limit as I need to have twice the lenght on stock. Finally this challenge was planned to be done today night and I arrived at 23:15. To be very carefully with the torch I got a quick overview where the cache is hidden and placed the torch in the nearby tree to focus at the selected crotch. My first throw with the pilot string was succesful and I added the static line to pull them up - at the summit it jerks due to a harder pull attempt. Had another 3 shots before getting them into the same position and now did the pull in a proper angle and more softly the before. Fortunately I carried some 3 to 4 meters accessory cords with me and ended up in knotting the ends together in order to have a sufficent line lenght. Once finally positioned the static line I started the ascend and stopped half a meter below the cache at the anchor point and managed the last climb to the branch where I settled down and signed the log at 00:11. This time only I need to switch on the torch for some seconds to write the log in a readable format. Finally I took some photos (yes, with flash), changed the gear and start the descent. This was even not the first tree I entered @night and even not the tallest one but the first of the rare tree climbing caches around Melbourne. After collecting my stuff together I hit the "find next" button on the GPSr I surprisingly figured out that there are in fact 2 more trees close to my position that I hadn't recognised before belonging to the same series. Ok, why not having a hat trick?!

Finished to work and run the "Have not been found" query for CBD Melbourne and was surprised to see a some NEWs I've never been seen before. Immediately took the bike and had a ride to be at GZ just 11 minutes to late - but certainly the first to find for this particular day.
STF 00:01.
Many thanks from Berlin!

On the way back through the city I spend some minutes to get this one. Fortunately I had not updated the pocket query thus I couldn't get concerned about 2 DNFs before me. Its still there, well and decently hidden. Damn, didn't take the photo of this impressive station. Many thanks from Berlin!

As stated on the plates Victoria is the place to be - this one was definitly name giving. We walked along the pools and never went alone but unfortunately forgot the swimming stuff in the car but had a beach sun set and bathing after this. Many thanks from Berlin!
After a sunny beach day this was the final cache. Nice walk and view (again). Many thanks from Berlin!

Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. This was even the last one as it begun to rain. Awesome view despite the clouds. Many thanks from Berlin!
It could have been the FTF if there wasn't sitting a fishing family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. right there. As they left they waved to me as we saw us the third time during this afternoon. The container was (again - see log for GC3AMTH) very well prepared - fantastic work! Someone logged before me - congrats. Propably they were here before the fishing hunt started. At least for me the coordinates are (several times) 38 m off the real cache and I guessed according to the caches name where to search thoroughly. Many thanks from Berlin!
Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. I spent some time waiting for the muggels to leave a potential FTF area at Barham Dock. Found it after reading (and understanding) the hint. Many thanks from Berlin!
Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. I expected not a dead end road but was surprised by a scenic ocean view close to the car park. Many thanks from Berlin!
Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. The way down here was worth at twice as I saw lots of Koalas the first time outside a sanctuary. The lighthouse was closed today and I spend two attempts to get to GZ but finally did it. You need to be fast to leave the trail if you don't want to be asked "Why?!". Many thanks from Berlin!
Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. Finally when I signed the log I recognised this cache is a very fresh one. Anyhow, many thanks from Berlin!
Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. This one was the first and I was lucky not to see any snakes. Many thanks from Berlin!
Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. I had a pleasure and fast walk in the sunset as I forgot to take my jacket with me and it starts to getting colder. Anyhow quick found. Many thaanks from Berlin!
Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. This one was the second - nearly a drive-in. Many thanks from Berlin!

Last cache of this night during the nothern (and western) CBD tour. Nice spot for fotos as nobody was here at 1 a.m. Many thanks from Berlin.
Found on a daytrip to the Great Ocean Road. This one was the third and I was lucky not to see any snakes. Many thanks from Berlin!

Rent the car in Melbourne, hit the Great Ocean Road and stop at the Nationalpark before Cape Otway - this was the schedule for today and fits exactly, lucky me. The hint is very useful and I fortunately got a tool with me to grab the cache. Nice work I really appreciate. Many thanks from Berlin!

Fifth found on the nothern CBD round during this night. Easy to find. Thanks from Berlin.
After having a dinner in the nice nearby pubs and bars I spent the rest of the night to find some caches around here. This one was the third and I remeber it the best. Fortunately nobody was seen and I didn't want to calculate the hint thus I went several time from one end to the other on different hights and spotted betwenn the stones - lucky me after 10 minutes. Many thanks from Berlin.
After having a dinner in the nice nearby pubs and bars I spent the rest of the night to find some caches around here. This one was the second. Nobody here during the night but watch out the lawn sprinkler. Many thanks from Berlin.
The fourth cache on the northern CBD tour. Nobody here in the night but also nothing special to see here or did I miss it? Thanks from Berlin.
After having a dinner in the nice nearby pubs and bars I spent the rest of the night to find some caches around here. This one was the first. Many thanks from Berlin.
One of the lovely spots of my nortern CBD night tour. Surprisingly nobody went here during my search thus I had enough time to take peoplefree fotos. Many thanks from Berlin.
I have seen the container from the level below and had thus a quick grab to get it. Many thanks from Berlin.

The eastern CBD night trip brought me to this nice cache. Lovely place especially in the day when (my) relaxing meets (others) sports. Many thanks from Berlin.
First look was just 30 cm beside the cache. If I might not longer trust my picture of a micro cache I have found this one earlier. Best camouflage and in the end the hint was taken me back on the road of success. Many thanks & greets from Berlin!
First attempt was 10 pm and muggeles seems not be here. I spend some time to get behind the hint and not longer to rely on a weak GPS back lane signal. Many tanks & greets from Berlin!
The eastern CBD night trip brought me to this nice cache. After searching on the wrong level I cam closer to GZ and finally found it. Many thanks from Berlin!
The eastern CBD night trip brought me to this nice cache. Accorinding to the logs and the hint it was brilliant clear where to find the container and I had luck and didn`t need a tool the get it. Many thanks from Berlin!
According to the description (ignoring the hint) it was brilliant clear where to search. The opposite located muggles seems to stare each other or into their glasses thus I took the chance without any lights to get (at least from the wrong site) to the cache. Even it was night I had trouble to see what I wrote into the log. Could be my name - someone needs to verify . Anyhow, many thanks & greets from Berlin!
The eastern CBD night trip brought me to this nice cache. A bit spooky to be here in the night as I may suggest its more romantic during daylight or sunset. After searching at 3 of 3 levels if found it. Many thanks from Berlin!

Checking the attributes with just only the GPS was'nt that helpful at all. In the end I struggled on having good ideas where to search - need to think more 3D . But this was yesterday - more luck and preparation in advance results in succes for this night. Many thanks & greets from Berlin!
The round north from the hotel wasn`t that successful but this one I found quit fast. Despite of the dirt a lovely photo spot especially in the night. Days later I remebered this place to hire a car - good excercise. Thanks from Berlin.

The received signals seems to wonder around in this highly urban area. Thus I totally rely on the distance to next junction and got in the first attempt. Many thanks & greets from Berlin!
Without the hint I would have spend a lot more time than it tooks me to get the container. It was well hidden and the terrain value is not a lie. Many thanks & greets from Berlin!

Rented a bike & had time as I'm still sleepless during the night and pending in the CET (Central European Timezone). Quick found. Many thanks from Berlin!
