21-Jul-18
On the home track with 1 to 11 done. Do we have all the puzzle bits, or does #12 contain a surprise. TFTC Thewins5

#3 done. We seem to be following someone as today's date is already on the log. Boy's a little confused by the clue. No sign of a "yellow box" - oh it's a tree.

Disappointed miss on this one as we travel through the Greater Hume Back Roads Series. We crawled over and under but no go. Next time. TFTC The Farmers 5.

#9 and still on time. Another great cache. I'm sure can smell the bakery. TFTC Thewins5

"Your my only hope" We are her so the coordinates are good ones. What a great series. Gets a favourite from me. TFTC and the effort put in Thewin5

Now we have the Ninja gloves on as this is getting serious. We could get this done and dusted today if we find all the clues. TFTC Thewins5

Great little hide on the way to Culcairn bakery and lunch. THTC The Farmers 5

Slight diversion as we work on the caches and the puzzle pieces. Lunch at Culcairn beckons. TFTC Thewins5

Lunch is over and quiet tasty. Last one in the series is now done. Do we have all the numbers? - lets see how they fit. TFTC Thewin5

Had a pretty good look but failed to come up with the goods. Not a good start to the GHBR series.

Plenty of PANIC keeping this one company. Another nice size cache complete with trackable which was collected to be moved on. This is proving to be very a entertaining series. TFTC Thewins5

Clever clue and another find. #7 done. TFTC Thewins5

#5 and were still alive. What the hell is a Callitris - oh it's another tree. Just keeps getting better and more fun. Who said geocaching wasn't educational? TFTC Thewins5

Back on track and #8. Gloves are getting a work out. Only a few more to do. TFTC Thewins5

After the disappointment of a DNF at #1 it was nice to find this on and get the series under way. Kept a lookout for clues we would need later. TFTC Thewins5

Success in finally finding the cache. We solved the puzzle some time ago but the cache had proved elusive. Not any more as Nacspaceman suddenly announced a find, followed by mild alarm as the cache guardian revealed itself. SL and replaced carefully. TFTC yamutha.

Had to share the narrow road with several large road works vehicles coming the other way, but soon arrived a GZ and located the cache. SL and replaced. TFTC Thewins5. One more to go.

Quiet afternoon so decided to check out the Splitters Creek series with Nacspaceman. Nice safe parking spot and quick find. SL and replaced. NFTC Thewins5

Last of the Splitters Creek caches and a nice drive around the area to find them. Clever clue leads to the final cache. Thanks for the series Thewins5.

Second of the Splitters Creek caches for the day and again nice to get safely off the road. Managed a quick grab, SL and rehid just before a council truck parked nearby. TFTC Thewins5

Out with Nacspaceman. First of four caches along this part of the track. Wish we'd had time to go further, but another time. TFT series The Ciscokids

Second one - nicely hidden. Good size containers too. Was that a sheep we spotted?

No 3 for today. Really enjoying this walk beside the creek. Plenty of sheep wandering about. "Once a jolly swag-man" comes to mind.

Last one for us - alas we have to return to the car. No snakes seen, but plenty of birdlife and small lizards. Can hear frogs too. Thanks for the effort Roostaman.

Travelling to Tumba with Nacspaceman. Nicely placed with a good parking spot. Met up with a fellow cacher. TFTC Roostaman

Handy little parking spot off the road. Short walk to the cache was somewhat more carefully negotiated as GZ was well guarded by numerous "Jewel Spiders" dangling from their webs. Another nice size cache. Well done Jorgo_Crew.

Last of this trilogy by Jorgo_Crew. Easy walk to the cache. Signed log and replaced. TFTC Jorgo_Crew
