Camera has been removed to develop the film. Being a student I'm not sure of the next time I'll find the cash to develop it. One day it'll be scanned in and uploaded. The rest of the cache is in an accessable condition.

Nice little cache. It was on top of a family of centipedes.

I took the cito kit and left a little wooden spoon. It wouldn't fit so I broke the handle. It's now a spoon assembly kit where you supply the glue. tftc.

Finally uploaded photos from the first camera in the cache.

Found with The Priebz after our last exam for 2nd year Mech engg.

Awesome hide! I took the "zoning pointers" and left a lense.

What are the zoning pointers from? I'd love to know.

Also, There was these two strange guys hanging around the cache. Gauss and Seidel or something...They left a note as well.

Terrific! a nice cache. I climbed the tree first, kinda hoping it would be up there, but also kinda just wanting to climb the tree.

Left penny, took a fancy looking pen.

Found early morning.

A lovely cache, A lovely slope, I often jog up and down and up and down..... and up and down this one.

Left pennies, TN.

A very nice cache, took ring, left penny.

Might I suggest that this cache should be hidden a little better? It seems a miracle that no one unwanted has stumbled apon it.

but all in all, tftc!

I have no idea what the clue has to do with the actual location of this one, if anyone knows - fill me in!

Found relatively easily. Took the liberty to rearrange some scenery to make the find just that little bit harder for the next cacher!

Took army man sam, left pennies.

Thank alot for this one.

Went after it this afternoon.

Couldn't find the darn thing, probably looking in the wrong place.

Any and all hints appreciated, otherwise I'll probably go after it again after swot vac has finished.

2nd Time lucky.

Found one nice afternoon after a long day of studying at uni...

Met a couple of fellow geocachers who were also looking for the cache, nice to meet you blokes!

Left some pennies, took the geocaching sticker, which will soon end up on the car's boot.

Found it easily! lots of fun!

As I drove up to it, a fire engine rushed out of the station, fun!

Took 9V battery and lipstick case.

left pennies, caribiner and mini highlighter.

Fire is fun.

Found it very easily, nice hiding spot!

stacks of people found it today!!

Left some penies, took fireman sam with a shotgun.

Found it after rushing around the bush, there's lots of pipes in this area!

Had to go back to start and think things through a little. Used the vacant lot as a scale and paced it out.

Took ACT geocoin,
left pennies, mini stapler.

Good work totalube, enjoying your cache series!

I'm sure if potential geocachers just scout the area out well beforehand there should be no troubles

Searched this one out with my mother, she's now hooked!

I don't have a GPS and so I find these simply by using the google earth link and looking where the arrow points to. Your arrow was a little off, but others I've found in the past have been pretty much spot on.

All in all, a very nice cache! very well hidden!

Happy we found it on our first attempt!

Was walking in the uni this afternoon and found myself right by the cache (which I've already found).

Decieded to take a look to see the new logbook entrys.

I reached in, only to very quickly pull my hand back.

A yellow bellied snake lay half in / half out the hole.

Potentially very dangerous. Future searchers BEWARE.

The cache's home is also a snakes home.

Seat overhang eh, couldnt' find it anywhere under or near the seat overhang all the way along that section of the river bank.

Dog did enjoy chasing birds and lizards however.

Adam and Liam found this one friday after a morning of classes.

Engineers are still cool.

09-Aug-07
Found in on a sunny afternoon after four uni lectures in a row... needed something to clear my mind.

Your black plastic is looking a little tattered.

Also, I had no pen so scratched my name into the front of the pad.....

I took some $5 play money notes (thought they were real at first!) and left a couple of pennies.

Liam.

[I know this area well, and could see from the satellite map that the fork] is the fork in the road before the steep hill which leads to the clearing with the view of the mine.

[I started off in a NNE direction from the fork in the road for 100 rough meters checking every stump as I went, then went another 100 rough meteres checking everything I could find in the area.]

[No luck, I suppose I need a GPS.]

Went after it without a GPS. I know the park well, could find the clearing with the winding track. There were a couple offshoots from the track that looked like they were the offshoot on the map. Couldn't find the ammo crate, spent around an hour sifting through under brush.

Did find an old rusted car though, scratched my name into the boot and sat in it for a bit.

Time to buy a GPS I think.

Went up the sw aproach to the top from the car park. If you cut off track before you reach the steps and head straight up towards the top you'll find a tent which I assume a homeless man lives in. The area has been destroyed with rubbish, a pity really.

I couldn't find the cache, as I attempted it without a GPS. There's a tonne of burnt out stumps up there, that's for sure.

Spent about half an hour searching off the track up the top.

Visited at 9:30 pm. all dark, with nothing but a mag lite and thongs. took a while to find it... I was way off course. But counted the houses on the map and eventually found the tree. fun stuff!

I took a travel bug # UN6CB3 And left a blue bic lighter.

All in all, for my first time it was awesome, I'm hooked!

Liam.
