Logs for malpractice

27-Mar-16
Found while walking back to the airport.

22-Feb-16
Found after dropping Tortie at the airport.

07-Feb-16
The empty box was an easy find while waiting for our takeaway dinner.

24-Jan-16
Found with difoundit. Returned today with a pen to sign the log.

Bush bashing with the dog.

Excellent camo.

Wandered in, saw the cache, wandered out. Contents a little damp after the recent rains.

Didn't really need to get of my bike to bag this one.

Coords were a little off for me today but easily found after broadening the search.

First one for todays lap of the lake. Perfect clue. Log book was difficult to remove so I replaced it in the container the opposite way around.

Last time I was here was a friends wedding, 1990 I think it was.

23-Jan-16
Found last week while cycling cross country from Wedderburn to Helensburgh. Must remember to come back with a pen to sign the log.

16-Jan-16
Found while out for a walk with the dog. My hand was too big to fit in the hole and the cache kept moving deeper into its hide so difoundit retrieved the container.

After a few days if rain we went out with the dog for a walk and to log a couple of local caches. Approached this one from the east but had to negotiate a swollen stream to get there.

09-Jan-16
Quick and easy night find. Great view of the stars. TFTC

24-Nov-15
Was here last night but no luck in the dark. Came back today and made an easy find in the daylight. Didn't have a pen so submitting a photo of the log instead.

08-Nov-15
An easy find, GPS took me straight to this cache. Log appeared to be chockas so I'm submitting a photo instead.

Grabbed this one while cycling past. A quick find in the likely spot and utilised the provided de-webbing stick to clear the reach in.

24-Oct-15
We flew down to merimbula for lunch and bagged a couple of caches on the way back to the plane via the beach.

05-Oct-15
Inspired by the recent log I returned for another go at this cache.

Found it after a systematic search of the area, quite a way from the GPS position and the area I had searched previously.

Established that my earlier DNF was due to GPS error, which persisted for today's search.

19-Sep-15
Logged this easy find while walking the escarpment on a rainy day.

Walking through this area with difoundit who's gps was far more accurate than mine this day.

Walked in from sublime point to bag this and a couple of other caches.

I trained here during my time with the infantry and remember some interesting features such as the nearby helipad that glows at night from glow worms in the grass.

Thanks for brining me back to this spot.

22-Aug-15
Had the solution for this for a little. Seemed appropriate to stop by and log this today on the way to fly our plane, an RV6A.

02-Aug-15
Circumnavigated the island and the only circumnavigable tree but spotted no cache. Suspect the march 2015 flood may have changed the landscape a little. Photo of the tree may assist the cache owner to determine if it still looks right, or not.

Spotted likely location as I paddled up. Found cache dry and in good nic.

01-Aug-15

Disturbed a large hare as we walked up to this one which got the geodog a bit excited.

Returned with geoteam to collect the ones I missed while cycling this path.

Found log sheet full, and very wet.

Second time lucky. Last time I saw one of these was near Doubtful Sound in NZ. TFTC

Returned with geoteam to collect the ones I missed while cycling this path.

Nice construction. Like this quaint cache.

This spot was indeed serene. Almost nil wind with a calm lake and a hint of wattle in the air.

12-Jun-15
Was hoping to find a pencil in the cache but no luck. One of these days I'll remember to put one in my bike pouch.

Thankfully this cache wasn't washed away in the April flood, but it would have been under water and not even a sealed ziplock bag could keep the log dry.

08-Jun-15
Found cache location yesterday but too many muggles around so returned this morning to log this one.

07-Jun-15
Second time lucky. This cache was clearly underwater during the April flood but it has remained secure and the log is dry. Great little cache.

With the low afternoon sun shining right on it this cache was an easy find. It withstood the floods unscathed. Another watertight little cache.

06-Jun-15
Cycled in to get this one, which involved carrying my bike up the cliff from cattle duffers flat. Now that was an adventure. But it also means that I approached this cache from a direction that enabled me to see it a few metres before I got to the GZ. TFTC

04-Jun-15
Also spotted from the road. TFTC

Once around the tree works every time.

Thought I could stay on my bike to grab this one.....not quite.

Quick fine, log nice and dry which was a little surprising.

Easy find with the hint.

31-May-15
Crossed the river with difoundit to bag 3 caches. Got this one first. Cache is in excellent condition and the log is nice and dry.

30-May-15
Easy enough once we had the correct grey tree.

Had a bit of an audience but managed to act casual. Log too full to sign.

Quick find with aid of some extra light.

29-May-15
Walked right up to it.

26-May-15
Excellent cache. Log nice and dry. TFTC.

23-May-15
Quick and easy find. Watch out for trolls.

Excellent construction. Really like these hidden in plain sight caches.
