Logs for pedibus imus 

What an amazing afternoon! While waiting for a series of muggles to leave the area we had a wander around the church grounds and cemetery. One of the locals saw us and started a conversation about the history of the church both past and more recently. It turns out my ancestor was an assigned convict to one of the people buried here. So. Thanks for this cache and our timing was perfect

TFTC and all the information you have provided. I did sit there and wonder if any of my ancestors had actually seen one. I tried not to think of any other involvement they might have had! 

We completed the Adventure Lab a couple of days ago and have now found and signed the bonus. Thanks for the tour around Penguin it was a lovely sunny afternoon during our holiday here. I was rather taken by these plants down by the stream, I wish I knew what they are. 

TFTC TNLN Sun is trying to come out this morning, sparkling water and very calm. 

Had a good look, well 5 minutes, no muggles. A couple of places I couldn't reach so giving up. TFTC and bringing us to this place. 

TFTC TNLN great sunny day after last night's heavy rain. 

When we first arrived in Penguin the penguin was surrounded by huge fences because the council is doing something next to the statue. Fortunately when we came down to "do" the cache some of these had been removed so we could get much closer. 

This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing. 

Found a bit of it we think but couldn't sign. Suspect this has gone missing. [Spoiler: Photo below shows what appears to be the remains.] 

The Boardwalk is currently being transformed into a concrete walk and with the workers nearby and the intimidating signage we didn't even try. 

Cool and cloudy but nice to discover another bike track in our future. TFTC TNLN 

TFTC TNLN A bit of a grey cold day here today but not raining. The view is terrific thank you. Those stairs will do wonders for my Fitbit stats today 

Cool day, nice stroll out to the point just to get out of the house for a bit. Glad this one was reinstated. TFTC Picture of some flowers nearby while we waited for people to walk past. 

On our walk up the rivulet there were lots of muggles setting out with dogs and prams or sitting in the park in the sun. At about South Hobart primary school the rain came down. By the time we got back the little park was empty and so we found the cache just as the sun started to peep past the big black cloud. Thanks for the cache, we weren't expecting to get it this morning. Blackwoods in flower. 

Visiting elderly relative at Regis nearby. Nice quick find TFTC. 

Finally time to log this cache. We walk past here a couple of times a week because we enjoy exercising along the many varied walks on the domain. TFTC ! 

Lovely Autumn leaves falling in the park. Thanks for the Adventure and for this bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in some parks we hadn't been to in a looking time.

What a wonderful introduction to Adventure Labs. We had a lovely walk out to the fort reading the history and the information you gave us. Bonus cache was a quick find. I couldn't get the lid off it was on so very tight, but geohusband eventually managed thankfully. A bit of a grey day but good for walking. 

Great little find, thank you! We didn't set out on the track intending to look for caches but for some reason we were inspired to open the app and saw this cache was about 100m away. So how could we resist? 

Lovely Day for a walk out to the lookout. Testing my new smartphone lenses. One tiger snake on the path out to the lookout and one slowly slithered across the track on the way back. Take care all. TFTC.

TFTC a great little find on our first day out after the great hiding away! Perfe t day to walk the beach. 

Email sent to the address in the instructions not via geocache profile email.

A busload of muggles arrived at the same time as us so we decided it really wasn't weird getting out a tape measure, because at least this is a virtual and not a hide! The morning was glorious and we even spent some time just watching 2 people surfing on some wonderful looking waves. TFTC!

 

All good! Not nearly as cold here as the last cache on the water's edge. I've been meaning to stop this side of the gates for years to take a look at Price's Kiln - thanks for making me do it

Quiet walk to an interesting convict construction. What a life they must of had.

Another cache at the end (or middle) on a lovely walk on the Peninsula. We walked out along the track and came back across the mostly dry lagoon. The pair of Plovers/Masked Lapwings guarding their nest near the end of the lagoon gave me a moment's hesitation. "I really don't like getting swooped!" says Mrs Pedimus Imus. TFTC! 

A lovely walk out to the point. A small flock of terns fishing nearby and the swells very gentle.

Wandered around following an erratic gps until we decided that we were getting far too cold and needed the hint.

Very quiet day on the Peninsula. The cliffs are very dry so mostly appear yellows and creams. Top layers have broken into squarish blocks. TFTC! 

Quiet day here on the Peninsula so no spectacular Blow Hole photos. TFTC! 

TFTC! Beautiful day and a fascinating beach. Message sent. I hope the new homes getting built don't restrict the access!

TFTC I found a bag along the way so filled it with rubbish doing an impromptu CITO. Also got a wallaby to stand still long enough to get a picture! Such a shame that the cubby house has collapsed - there's a great archival picture in the gallery as it once was.

In between the customers if the landscaping business we managed to log this find. Not so much rubbish to add to our CITO here 

Only just tall enough! Trash bag is getting full of CITO today! 

Nearly gave up! But such a lovely spot watching the birds in the creek. Great notepad! TFTC CITO continues 

Another great one! We've decided to do a bit of CITO along this road while we're here. 

TFTC we nearly gave up but were encouraged by other logs to rethink and look again. Great day and the little boats on the water seem to be enjoying it too. 

Lovely day to be geocaching. TFTC TNLN. The little boats were all looking great out on the water with a nice breeze blowing. We passed this little colourful beetle quite close by. 

What a view! TFTC we've walked the memorial track some years ago so it was nice to come back. TNLN.

Great hide TFTC. Found just as my phone is about to go flat. 

TNLN TFTC. Lovely drive through the highlands from Burnie to Hobart. We'd hoped to have lunch here but the picnic tables were fully occupied and we couldn't ask our two 90 year old muggles to perch on a rock. Not to worry. I got some lovely (phone) pictures of clouds and a few wildflowers.
