Out caching with JOELISA on this fine December day, enjoying what we find on the border loop series. Had to get serious with this one, we weren’t going to let a little bit of water get the better of us. Shoes and socks come off, I rolled my pants up and slowly walked in. Surprisingly a really nice temperature and probably could have stood and enjoyed it for a while but we had a cache to find. Found it in the first place I looked, just didn’t see it first time around and proceeded do circles until I went back to where I started. A memorable cache and a good laugh. Thankyou!

Just another extra cache to find on the way home because there is always just one more to do. Good to be back on the Hume and Hovell track. Easy find, very tally thick grass made me a little nervous for slithering snakes but none were found thankfully. Found JOELISA’s log of this cache in the old log book nearly 10 years ago.

Their were two possible cache locations spotted and we each headed off to seperate ones. Serves me right for taking the closer and easier one because it wasn’t there for me. Found the starting location of this multi but phone service proved to be an issue and we had to backtrack to the previous cache to finally get it back again. Thankfully we had spotted what we need to spot and could easily work out the location of the GZ. A nice little walk for a change was welcomed. Thankyou.

Lots of fun driving up a washed out road. Appreciated the name of this cache when we got to GZ, It actually works! This seems to be as far as we go along this road today due to poor phone reception. Back tracked again to find this windy road, tricky to spot at first but knowing how other caches were hidden in previous ones in this series helped find it eventually, right in front of us! A nice quick find on my way past. I can’t believe I’ve never thought to pull in there before.
The sky was very ominous out to the west! Luckily no rain fell whilst I was hunting for this cache.

Out for a little adventure today, joined JOELISA to find a few caches. This was the first one we did, quite easy and simple, even took the time to buy some great strawberries at the markets nearby. Thankyou 

Well, this one was unfortunately unsatisfying! This one looked like a fun one reading the cache’s previous activity logs. Fence was fine to deal with, glad I had my sock-overs on this time of year, JOELISA on the other hand suffered quite a few grass seeds in his socks. Looked for quite a while with no success. Lots of many very cool places to potentially hide a cache. Read through other people’s logs to help narrow it down, but it didn’t make any difference in the end when after all of our struggles climbing up and reaching in high places we found the cache laying on the ground in the mud. Log book inside was sopping wet and there was no chance of signing anything. JOELISA took photo evidence instead. We hid the cache in the most likely position we believe it to have been from originally, knowing it might not be the correct spot but it will still be a good fun hide for the next person to come along and find. Still a beautiful place a cool adventure, so thank you. Needs new log book and waterproof bag. 

I like trees too! Nice area, great view of the very full and fast flowing river. 150mil of rain in a few days will do it. Easy find, Thankyou 

Another easy find with JOELISA! Rode through some deepish puddles on the way to get here which was a bit of excitement for some and more of a damp experience for others. Thanks 

Easy find with JOELISA. Although, cache was barely hidden and didn’t match hint description either. So we believe it has wandered from its proper hidey hole. Container was full of water! Thankfully one of the log books were still dryish. Emptied as much water as we could. Lots of traffic on the walking/cycling track this Saturday morning.

This puzzle was solved a week or more ago and was just waiting on the perfect timing to collect. We decided today was that day so on a trip home it was time to locate this cache! After much head scratching, circle work, dampening from the rain, and a quick phone chat with Joelisa, it was found!

After 80mils of rain, it was no surprise that my feet got wet getting this one! I found the spot where the cache should have been and it wasn’t there, after a short while I found it on the ground nearby, thankfully it wasn’t sitting in water and the logbook was dry. Signed it, and put it back in its proper hiding spot. Thanks for the cache. Cheers 

Nice easy micro cache, a park and grab. Thank you so much for it! But goodness we are still getting the hang of always checking we are carrying a pen…… had to turn around and return home for one.
