Pleasant, picturesque and only a bit of a climb. A great camoflage in a great hiding place. We were interested to see one of the finds was a muggle who has become a GC since this find.
A little confused about where to start we struck a "No entry revegetation sign". Stuck with decision Paul clambered up the mountain and over a fallen fence and onto a 2nd quarry site. The GPS was calling him to jump off the quarried height into a chasm below. Sensibly he did not take such a foolish path of actual cliff hanging but rather meandered his way around to the chasm entry. The feeling was eerie as he entered the site and found the cache. Once making it back on the easy rocky wet track he brought Sheri back over to see the find. So if you haven't taken the easy route you are going the wrong way . Best not follow us
Found this cache finally. Since being novices still we were not familiar with just how much size can vary. Now we know. Thank goodnes for the clues. Great cache. We felt so pleased.
At 6pm on 5 Oct we went to find the cache when suddenly our GPS went flat, oh know!!!! We raced to the General Store and got replacements but we had to wait until the next day as we were due out for tea. On 6 Oct we attempted again. This time the GPS hadn't picked up enough satellites, or so we think, as it lead us astray on a distance that took us too far. Now tired and panting we returned to our destination A lot more simple than what we made it.
Some muggles came to cross our bridge so we were tempted to growl and scare them away as we wandered the earth like discontented trolls. But despite the quick disappearance of these little goats we could not find the cache. Me thinks some little muggle billy goat must have found it first unless this troll is blind from hunger.

It points the way to see the views. Lovely area and internesting history. TFTC
Our first find on our own. We have done a few in the past but always gone with others. Now we had to learn to use our GPS on our own and yes we did it. Good fun and not too hard.[^]
We hunted high and we hunted low, we hunted around and we hunted slow. We hunterd and we hunted and we hunted and we hunted, but couldn't find this easy cache. Was it there or has it gone, was it us or is something wrong.[xx(]
What a place you have taken us too. Interesting, old and not many people in it's midst. We took a stroll and nearby found a picnic table to have our lunch. Easy find. TFTC

After bashing the extremes from our 4wd adventure with MadFish63 we stopped to find our #3 cache for this trip before our journey home. Well well well, not where you may think.
Our last find, cache #4, for this adventurous 4wd exhibition to Robe/Beachport with MadFish63. At last Sheri got to find this one.

First lets stop for a Geo find, #1 for this trip, as we head with Madfish63 to Robe for a 4wd adventure across the dunes and along the beaches. This cache is madfish63's first one. Oops, Paul spotted it.
Getting to our destination to start our 4wd fun with MadFish63 we decided to stop first for a geo cache or two. This is #2 for this trip. This place brings back memories as I brought my children here to see this fantastic gaol remains when they were younger.
