Logs for team pamplemousse

Easy find, our 3rd for the day. Interesting as mentioned previously with the border crossing cameras looking at your every move. We waved just to be friendly.
Cache wet. We tried to put most things in the plastic bag but paper a bit dampish but still able to write on it. Silicon bag spent.
This cache was on a round trip from Currumbin through the Currumbin Valley to Murwillumbah and back via Tweed. Glorious day with great views. Highly recommended.

Interesting area. The name gives the clue. GPS right on the marker. Glad we went on the weekend otherwise would look odd with us fossicking around this business area looking suspicious

If we had trusted the GPS and used our eyes it would have been an easy find but cleverly hidden. Trust your GPS but fossick around a bit more and you have it. Had to walk through a swarm of bees at the trees in front of the house but managed to stay alive. House now not open but cache is not in house surrounds so no problems.

Easy find with great clue! Lovely view of Murwillumbah which I had never seen before and would never have known about so thanks.

Interesting find. GPS out of whack here but best to go out near the field get a good bearing and stick to it even if it changes when getting back into the thick of the trees. It took a few goes, then needed a stick for fossicking. A few muggles looking oddly at us with one asking us what we'd lost! Our marbles obviously!! Lovely park and a beautiful day.

Interesting area. Took us a bit of time finding the park as the driving details had us in Eyles Lane instead of Myrtle lane so DO take the 3rd on the left BUT not into Eyeles Lane and you have it.
Another great view of Murwillumbah from here. Good clue and easy find.

Our first geocache of the day - we took all the clues and put them together and got nowhere...disappointed but a beautiful view was had of Surfers Paradise and Coolangatta from the Elephant Rock lookout on a glorious day so no complaints!!
This was the first of a round trip from here through Currumbin Creek out to Murwillumbah and back via Tweed Heads. Beautiful views and intereseting caches to find. Highly recommend for a nice day trip out.

Not having much luck with the Paradise series - might take a better effort! Still a beautiful area to remind us to stop and appreciate this beautiful part of the GC. Still onward and upward.

Easy find, trying not to look suspicous not so easy. First find of the day. Lovely area which reminds us to maybe stop here for a swim next time around.
We planned a day of geocaching from here to Murwillumbah with a successful day with beautiful views and great sunshine.

Easy find. GPS right on the money!
PErfect spot to stop and have a tea and scones at this quirky interesting place. Loved it. We sat in the train chatting and eating and then onward and upward for a few more caches.

Lovely area to fish and swim.
Unfortunately we didnt find the cache as the undergrowth was too thick and dense and we weren't keen on going further. On the way to the cache site I saw a snake's tail slither away (and this was May) so really we werent fussed about heading into dense undergrowth so gave this one up and probably wont be back to look for it. Shame its not in a clearer area as the surrounds were great.

Loved this one! Fantastic hide so impressed. We were stumped as well at the start. Our GPS had us all over the place but finally we got sorted and found it. Beautiful area, first find of the day and a great one at that. Thanks Angel Dust.

Great view from here. Forthferalz found it just before us so we helped claim victory! No lantana around here now so much easier to find than we thought. Did take a few farmer's friends with us back to the car though.
So glad we stopped off here. We normally go straight down the highway and have been missing such a beautiful spot. Being a lookout we had great views up and down the coast to Byron. Gas barbecue there and a picnic table. Will definitely go back for a picnic with friends next time.
Great area, thanks for guiding us to this spot! It was our first find of the day and after getting used to the GPS again we found it no trouble in a good position. Good also to get a bit of history on the area. Much appreciated.

Had never been down this road before and thought what a lovely spot. A lot of fishermen and families out hoping for a catch.
Easily accessible by 2 wheel drive.
We went down the path and into a patch of ground which I thought would love to come back and take a few pictures of the moss and fungi which were interesting. Unfortunately as I was digging around a tree I could smell something and at the same time the other member of the team yelled out in disgust! She had trodden in some human poo!! That was what I could smell and on looking around we noticed toilet paper!!! This unexpectedly is where the fishermen go to the toilet. This wooded area was right next to the path we presume the cache was on.
We then didnt want to find the cache just wanted to get out of there and get the thong and foot washed! Next time must remember to takes antiseptic wipes.
Such a shame as it was a lovely area until then! Has this only happened to us? Where we so far off the track?

Loved the cryptic clues to this one. Made it more interesting. I started out looking for the grave but my friend decided the Lich gate would be the defining clue (me having no idea what a lich gate was!) Decided it was the "shed" like structure then more easily found than me wandering around aimlessly.
Interesting spot. We took the handclapper and put in a small tennis ball! Thanks for the mystery!

Great last find of the day. Good place and great hiding spot, no chickens just scrub turkeys!
Cant find it... someone please tell us where it is. Third time still unlucky! Cant be that many places where a magnetic cache is to be hidden.

Thanks it was a great hide with good cryptic instructions. Nice to go off the highway to what was!
Great hide. Must remember not to wear the good sandals on this one and something with more grip! Thanks for taking us off the usual busy highway for a glimpse of yesteryear.

It was one member of the teams first find! Didnt know how productive looking up a Knights skirt could be! Easy find for anyone over 5' 7".

Nice work back up the hill to the lighthouse and a glass of wine and nibblies and an afternoon relax on the grass .
