Visited cache site 30/07/2024. Broken Cache container has been replaced with new container. Cache has been placed back at original location to avoid damage. Have added small jigsaw and bear to contents. Log book from previous container still in good condition..

Quick find as we viewed Stanley. We were heading North so needed to cross to pick it up. TFTC. Actually the first for the year. 

Cache has been replaced with larger and stronger systema plastic box.
Log book has been replaced and placed in ziploc bag with pen.
Cache is now in good condition and ready to be found. Thanks to those who advised me of condition and who helped with logging material. 

Due to the closure of Area and the uncertain timeframe as to when the area will reopen unfortunately the cache needs to be archived. 

The area where the cache is placed is currently closed to the public with temporary fencing on at the start of the track, this is due to storm damage in the area. There is a notice that parks Victoria is working to restore the area. I am now keeping an eye on the area to see when it reopens. I will update further when it reopens to the public. If the area remains closed indefinitely I will reposition the cache and adjust the details. 

Unable to check on cache until start of October. Will check on placement and surrounds as soon as I can. Cache details will be updated when I check.
Note: the hint is quite specific but storms in area may have meant works have taken place

Found by edmil & Maddie @2:20pm 25-02-2022. Had lunch St Andrews and then decided to have a crack at a couple of caches in the area as we needed a walk post covid recovery. This series popped up on the radar and we thought ok let's give it a go. This one was hand reasonably quickly. Grabbed TB to move on and Signed the log book, cache replaced ant time to move to the next one.

Found by edmil and Maddie @2:45pm 24/02/22.;well unsuitable footwear certainly made this interesting - not what I considered a recuperative stroll! But nevertheless the cache was located. And damn realized I needed to get some info from the cache - missed it on #1 so will need to retrieve at later date. Log book signed and cache returned to hide. 

Found by edmil and Maddie @300pm 25/2/22. Our last one for the day the effort was taking a bit of a toll and considering the footwear and only using our phone for navigating decided to do this one and call it quits for the day. Log book signed and cache replaced. TFTC, will return another day, more suitably prepared to do more in the series.

 

Found by edmil & Maddie @1:45pm. Had a bite to eat at the StAndrews hotel and figured we would do a few caches in the area. A nice quick find. Log signed and cache returned to its hide.

Found by edmil & Maddie @4:00 pm. We found this walk by chance and given there were a few caches to be had we decided to take a walk despite the heat. That sai it was quite a pleasant walk.
We were unable to achieve the first search due to muggles in vicinity both at the start of our walk and on our return so we left it for another time. This one was our first capture for the day. Thanks for the cache. Log signed and cache returned to its well hidden den.
 

Found by edmil & Maddie @5:00 pm. Yup we have a few of these at home, never satisfied and continue to terrorise at dinner time. I digress, cache found quickly and log signed. Thanks for the caches today we had fun and got a bit of exercise to boot. Not all caches done so we have something to come back to another day.

First cache for 2022. 34 degrees so a bit warm. Snakes on our mind but none here thank goodness.

Out caching with friends. First find attributed to Isabella @10:10am. This was her first cache and first time learning about geocaching. This one had Maddie and I stumped for a while even though we had a good idea where it would likely be. Looks like we have some muggle converts. Thanks for the cache and happy birthday Luke hope you had a good one. 

Found by edmil @ 9:45 am 30/12/2021, on our way to Omeo. Cache was there for a quick pick up. Thanks for the hide, log book signed no swap made. Cache in good condition but has hitch hiker attached 

Found by edmil & Maddie @12:08. We found this one sone time back but had neglected to log it. We came across this place during lockdown and it was a nice place to get some fresh air. We didn't do all caches in vicinity, which means we have a reason to return. Thanks for the cache, log signed and cache returned to hide. 

Found by edmil and Maddie. Took a nice drive through the Warb ranges. Had this in hand nice and quick. Swapped Ahomburg pathtag for of own caching Fixation no fixed destination tags. Thanks for the cache.

Nice warm walk from the car, a couple of km as there are no vehicles allowed on the track.

Out for a bit of drive on a road less travelled by us and figured there would be a cache planted at the location. Whipped out the phone and sure enough there was. Had it in hand a short time later. Log signed and cache returned to hide. TFTC

Found by edmil, maddie & Diana, after a great day wandering around the King Valley. Figured it was time to pick up the last cache for 2020. It was a quick find. TFTC and best wishes for the new year. 

Found by edmil & Maddie 26/12/20. Decided to check the area out, originally not in terms of caching but foundtherewas quite a number to be found. We were a bit short on time so we just grabbed this one. TFTC. Log signedand cache replaced in hide. 

Found @5:55 28/12/2020 Definitely a neat hide. Could have just jmagibed Gollum sitting jn front of the tunnel with 'Precious'. It looks like a great area for a bit more exploration. TFTC. Log signed ^ cache replaced.
 

Found @ 8:35am on a very cool morning. Spotted it right away so a quick find for such a small cache. 

Found by edmil & Maddie@2:19 a quick find in what could have been a muggle full zone but at this time there was only a couple within Cooke of the cache. Maddie grabbed was I was otherwise distracted. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC. 

Found by edmil & Maddie @ 2:30 this was our last find for the day. We were going to do a few more on the walk but we were overwhelmed by the mozzies - maddie hates them with a passion. Every time we stopped we were attacked not enjoyable. Will give the trail another go another time - maybe covered with repellant. TFT cache log signed and cache returned to hide. 

Found by edmil & maddie@1:14. We came at this cache from another direction but nevertheless found it quite quickly. The walk was refreshing ant the view was excellent. This was our last cache find on the island for today. A couple more remain for next time. TFTC. 

Found by edmil & maddie @ 11:43am the cache needs a little maintenance, unfortunately we had run out of cache repair stuff so were unable to replace parts of the cache. Dried as best as possible. This was our second attempt at this one the first was 7/3/2010 so it has taken over 10 years to get back to get this one. Success this time. tftc 

Found by edmil & maddie @12:51. Another great theme. ID'd the spot pretty quickly and maddie figured she would get it. But not her find her cursory glance overlooked the hide and it was up to me to grab it. TFTC log signed and cache replaced.

Found by edmil and maddie @11:59. Sometimes finding a cache can drive you a bit potty, And while this one is it didn't drive us to it. Cache was in hand nice and quick, the coordinates were spot on. TFTC. Log signed and cache returned to its hide. 

Found by edmil & maddie @11:25am. Definitely liked the thought that went into this. Chalk this one up to me maddie missed it. Thanks for the cache loved this one as with the others in this series took a few photos to add to my collection. Our compass Rose geocoin also dropped in to acknowledge the cache. Our geocoin drops into caches we particularly like and want to remember. 

Found by edmil & maddie @ 12:41pm. Another nifty hide WELL thought out. Nearly had us on this one but just as well it didn't. Pen ran out so had to high tail it back to the cachemobile for another. Log signed and cache returned to hide. Thanks for the cache. 

Found by edmil & maddie @11:20am. Decided it was a nice day to check out some caches. This was the second on the island today and loved the thought behind the cache. It was a quick find pretty much jumped out at us so speak. TFTC log signed.

Found by edmil & Maddie @2:05pm. We had just visited Marysville and completed a few caches along the Lady Talbot Drive. Unfortunately the road was closed after the cache #10 so we needed to return. Decided to do the longer journey back home and this cache came up on the radar. Nice spot the river was running quite high and if there is much more it will soon be over the banks. Anyway back to the cache after a quick search we realized it wasn't going to be that easy. It was maddie who found it, which means, as is usually the case, that I had to hear the bragging for some time when we were returning to the car. The log book was signed and cache returned to its hide. Thanks for bringing us to this neat spot.
