Here right now celebrating early for my sons birthday. His first visit here!!! Haven’t been back here since my grad night nearly 20 years ago !!

FI-NA-LLY. I have had this in my sights for some time now. It seems that one delay after another kept preventing me from committing to a date to do this hike. MnS and I agreed on Sunday the 15th, and off we went setting out from the east coast to the west. The trail was hot and there were some downed trees, but overall, nothing terrible. Truly, the worst part (as has been mentioned countless times before) was the abundance of mosquitoes. Even with a (necessary) head/face net, they were still more persistent than I have ever seen anywhere else. The trail was in mostly dry condition with the exception of the wet spots (a few as seen in pictures.) Overall, knee deep was as bad as it got for me at the worst spots. Oh, and we saw a gator, too. That could have very easily been the worst part of the day; fortunately I was not his lunch.

The cache itself was dry and in fantastic condition -- still in its perch as the last finder left it. I did take a picture of that but don't want to post for fear of spoilers. The log was fresh, the day was hot, and the hike was well worth it. Thank you to MnS for helping me clear 12/2000 off of my grid!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Lorrie for maintaining this grandpappy of a cache - it is still in fine condition!

Fleas 80s bad hair day???? Can anybody explain what this is and how it could be so close to a cache (less than 50 feet, even!)

This find was fairly easy with the hint, which narrowed down the hunt rather quickly. Surrounding traffic was terrible, so a stealthy find was appreciated!

I came back today to finalize my completion of the caches on this beautiful path. This was the final traditional cache I had left to find. I left 5 trackables from the US inside the cache for the next few finders. Had a great time renting a bike and riding this quick trail.

This cache took a very long time because I had 3 muggles who WOULD. NOT. LEAVE. GZ. One was sleeping on a bench for over an hour (I know because I left and came back after some time to try and search again.) Furthermore, a mother muggle and her child were hanging out on the other bench and did nothing but stare as I tried to search. I left agitated, returned, and fortunately didn't have to wait long for sleeping beauty to get up and leave. Thankfully my wife encouraged me to go back otherwise I would have never gotten it!

When everyone was finally gone, I found the cache in two seconds. A better hint could be "underneath" because I didn't quite get the between at first. Having said that, I found what appears to be a waterlogged letterbox called "Flea's bad 80s hair day" nearby. Initially I thought fleas was the cache (being that it was a Tupperware big enough for TBs,) but then I found the correct one and now I am officially stumped. Attached is a picture of the proper one, in a separate log, I'll post the incorrect one. Thank you for this awesome cache available to all international travelers !!!

Found this sitting out in open in close proximity to where it should have been. I signed and replaced properly out of sight from muggles. Still reachable from the main path, though. Thanks for this one.

Fabulous cache and wonderful lesson to be learned here. This is something that I would have easily walked past without really giving it the thought it deserves. Thanks to CO, I have learned something memorable and had fun doing it! While on our honeymoon from the USA, we spent some time on hte south island and were able to spend 3 nights in Queenstown. This earthcache was one of my favorite finds of the trip, and hence, gets a favorite point.

Quick find in a great spot. Enjoyed this one quite a bit.

We arrived at Vudu at 4:50 and waited outside until 5:30. The shop closed at 5 for Good Friday. Hope you all have a nice holiday!

Wonderful coffee here!

Trackable drop!

While on our honeymoon in New Zealand, we spent 3 days in Queenstown. We came to solve this Earthcache and learn about the spot only to find that there was an arts and crafts festival taking place. Fortunately, muggles don't affect our ability to work on Earthcaches (if anything, they may draw attention to an often overlooked piece of history) so we were happy to get to reading and learn about some of hte most important events in Queenstown's history. We loved reading about this - thank you for bringing us here!

This was a fun find! What a view. Thanks for bringing me here !

We had a tremendous day in Queenstown exploring the area. We visited the Kiwi sanctuary - a real treat, and then took the gondola up to get this earthcache and to ride the luge. Thank you very much for bringing us to this scenic spot!

Found after a full day of wine tours with a fantastic guide. Irene at x tours took us all around Christchurch before beginning our journey to 4 wineries and a stop for lunch. After dropping us off at our hotel, I went out to walk around and capture a few smileys before dinner. Thanks for this one!

A tough puzzle with an awesome final. I came to the park on my second and final day in Christchurch after a full day of wine tours. I spent a bit of time working out the answer to this puzzle so that I could make the find while visiting the city. I walked through the park on a rainy Tuesday and searched for this bad boy with tons of muggles nearby. I made the find and snapped a pic. Loved this and the lessons within!

What an awesome find. We came here after lunch at Waipara Springs and made the quick find. Absolutely loved the walkway and uncovering the hidden bed and breakfast was quite a treat. Favorite point all the way from the United States.

Cute cache mere steps away from my hotel. After a 6k walk, I decided to finish off the day by grabbing this. I signed the very last line on the back, so if the next person can bring paper to replace, that would be fantastic. Unfortunately I had none on me :/

I was drawn to this cache strictly because of the background image. I've been a huge fan of the show since the year it began, so this was a must see for me. I'd like to believe that at this point, I'm fluent in ski jacket murmurs. I made the find easily and enjoyed my walk immensely. Thanks for this.

HA! I came yesterday and couldn't find this for the life of me. Today, I grabbed something I must have missed completely and voila! The log practically sprung out at me - the goal of every cacher! This is fantastic.

After dinner at cooking with gas, my wife and i visited the fountain and enjoyed the $2 show! We worked out the wrong coordinates and didn't make the find. In the morning, I took another look at the puzzle and corrected my errors, yielding answers that made sense. I made the find quickly and solved a great multi. Favorite !

My first cache in Christchurch! My wife and I just arrived for our honeymoon after a few nights in Nelson and before a few in Queenstown. I had solved this puzzle at home in hopes of making the find on our hike around the area. We stopped by and grabbed this before dinner. Had to wait until just the right moment to make the grab. Great fun!! Thanks, from Miami, Florida (USA.)

Logging this with permission from the CO. I checked on this back in Mid March during my honeymoon and the cache was nowhere to be found. I did manage to snap some wonderful pics at and around GZ, but didn't have the pleasure of signing the physical log. The CO has assured me that the cache has been replaced and is ready to go for all future finders. Thanks for the clever puzzle, and more importantly, the wonderful emails back and forth. You two aren't SoBad after all, though your puzzles are nasty!

The puzzle wasn't nearly as bad as some of COs others, however I have no idea how I made this find. Perspective is everything I guess, because I approached from just the right angle and my eye was caught big something - the cache! Signed and snapped a pic. Favorite for the relevance of GZ. Thanks!

This is exactly what I love about caching! An icon brought me to a spot that I wouldn't otherwise know about, and that spot holds so much beauty! We had a great time stopping by in the garden to snap a few pictures after a full day at Abel Tasman national park. The find didn't take long thanks to the hint.

I am currently in New Zealand for my honeymoon and Nelson was our first stop. I solved this puzzle after seeing its proximity to the location of our bed and breakfast. On our way out to the airport on our final morning, I swung by to grab this one. Got a little itchy in the brush making the find but I was glad to sign off on this one.

One of two caches we managed to find on the Pitt Head trail. The hint threw me off and we were looking too low before we came across the cute hide. This trail was so wonderful and the views were tremendous. Came on a full day tour with Abel Tasman tours and had the best day with Emma. TFTC

This was the second of two caches we found on the Pitt Head trail. The cache was a few feet away from where I thought GZ was, but better senses prevailed. I dropped a zombie trackable and took a converse shoe.

My last find in Nelson before we head off to Christchurch. This one was closest to our bed and breakfast, so I made the find to mark the map! Thanks for this one.

This was my first official cache in this beautiful country! My wife and I came to New Zealand to celebrate our honeymoon; arriving just this morning, Nelson was our first of three stops. Suffering from the jet lag, we decided to do an early dinner and pack it in early tonight. After dinner at Ford's, we stopped to pick this cache up quickly before heading back to our bed and breakfast. The church bells rang in the distance as I signed - how thematically appropriate! Smile thanks for the fun puzzle.

Thank you for the insightful comment, Ajbenn. I have emailed the account listed on the Vudu site and hope to have an answer soon RE: their business hours. If anyone local is able to give them a call, surely that would be faster than waiting in the queue for an email response. As for the location, I put the address in the hint and hope that that is enough when coupled with the coordinates :]. We are quite excited to come out for to NZ for the very first time!

Thanks for the tip, Markacher! I'll try to send something out as close to the event date as possible. Too bad you won't be joining!

Found this with FlossInMaToof and submitted email. TFTC and for bringing us to this spot around the corner from our hotel to honor such a man as this.
