Spent a lovely day showing off this beautiful state to two delightful french girls we met whilst camping in Tasmania a few weeks ago.
Their first geocaching experience, made all the better by some magnificent views.
Thanks

Found this treasure trove late in the afternoon. Not sure how you could do this at any other time of the day as there must usually be so many muggles around.

Certainly is a nice park, and one of the biggest I have been to.

This is quite some treasure chest. Haven't been doing this long but found this cache to be full of so many items. Good fun looking through the bits and pieces.

Thanks

Found this cache late in the afternoon (about 5:30pm). Took longer than expected as firstly there were kids playing in the stream, then some trail bike riders pulled up and finally another geocacher came along.

But it is a lovely spot. Used to ride along the trail often and never knew there was treasure nearby.

A pleasant afternoon. Thanks.

Number 2 for us and our first actual find. Just after we retrieved it, a couple from across the road decided to have a wine out on their front steps, 40 feet away. After 20 minutes of hanging around and looking suspicious, we decided to take it with us.

I drove back 30 minutes later and replaced it.

First one was empty and the second was trouble with Muggles. Not been easy so far Smile

Cheers

Hi. This was actually our very first cache........and it was empty. Found the container (a clear plastic rectangular container with blue clips on the lid jammed between some rocks) but it was empty. Checked around to try and find any notes, etc but there were none we could find.

Not sure of the protocols so we left it were we found it jammed in the crack of a large boulder and covered it with another rock and some paper. If it is not where you left it, it would be within a few metres.

Hope this helps. Good fun looking anyway.

Cheers
