Fantastic location for a cache!

I took a snap and then did a bit of wandering around the area to check out the lighthouse and the coastline.

I think this is a risky one, come New Years Eve, you might want to recover at least the camera before the festivities begin, just in case!

Took: A snap!
Left: Nothing

Easy find, in a great location!

Nice bit of history also!

Found the general location fine, but the GPSr was pointing directly at a group of skateboarding muggles who were using the GZ as a place to discuss their most recent injuries!

Another day perhaps!

Nicely placed urban cache with great cammo!

Been all over this area, twice! (except the 0.5sq m containing the cache!)

Another Day!

Thanks for the hunt!

Found this one pretty quickly once I realised the necessary elevation!

Lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by!

As per the other posts - this one is a bit damp.

Cheers for the cache

Third time lucky!

Finally tracked this one down and, of course, it was in the place I should I have started looking!

Thanks La Perouse

Dan

Not sure if I can call this a find or not, same as the Vikings - 2 pencils found at co-ords that according to the sats were +_ 3m, but no cache.

cheers

I was expecting to take a while with this one, as it seems to have caused a fair amount of indigestion for many in the past. Fortune smiled an I hand it in hand within about 5 mins.

Cheers - sneaky hide!

Despite the sats getting a little cranky this one turned out to be an easy find - Well hidden, but as luck would have it, in the first place I looked!

Cheers

A nice bike ride out to lovely park. Checked the logs before heading out and worked out the clue, but alas no find - I'll be back!

Third time lucky!

It's still there - it's within easy reach of the grass, and the high res clue really helps (see logs!).

Take gloves, some rumaging around will be required!

Took: Vigoroth TB

Left: Hong Kong coin

Dan

Discovered this one whilst listening to the commentary from the nearby cricket oval!

Put my hand on it just as Ricky Ponting hit the century against Tasmania!

Left some US and Indian currency. Took HK 50C

2nd time around on a foggy and rainy Sydney summer's day. Got it this time though! It is truly tiny!

First entry in the new logbook

Thanks

[2nd visit to find this cache, took considerable searching, but after averaging out the sats for a few mins I pinned down the location.

Nice one Nilbogs!]

Tap Tap, Tap Tap, what's that? It's not your finger you'll put on it!

Went looking again for this one!

Despite a new plan and a different approach to the hiding places I still didn't locate it, though I think I'm on the right track. There was a lot of 'disturbance' in the area though - maybe a quick cache check might be in order?

Or perhaps I need new glasses!

Thanks - good challenge!

Dan

P.S. - just seen the high res clue in the logs - I'll return this weekend and try again, hold off on the cache check!

A frustrating day in search of tupperware!

My 3rd DNF for the day!

But there will be other days!

Cheers

The second DNF of a Nilbog find for the day - this one was frustrating as the satellite gods would not play!

I may have to ask for an additional clue!

Cheers

Dan

Tracked this one down this weekend past - nice camo!

As it said in the notes, no space for swaps and a high muggle rating!

Cheers

Despite a lot of looking, crawling around in the bushes, and a bit of just sitting and looking I didn't find this one!

Never mind, another challenge for another day!

Hello!

Found it just as the sun was setting across the harbour, co-ords were spot on.

The cache is in good condition, but could do with another log book as we used the last but one page in the existing one!

Took the TB turtle and as it likes it near water we'll try it on the South Coast of the UK in December!

Took TB Turtle
Left Emergency Whistle.

Cheers

Great Spot, and the clues are very well thought out and give a great background to the area.

Once you have the clues sorted the find is relativley easy - the initial GPS co-ords worked fine for me.

Took - Key ring

Left - Coin

Cache in great condition - no maintenance needed

Cheers

First ever cache for me!

Nice one, arrived by bike and had a wander round before looking in earnest. Lovely views!

Took: nothing
Left: some loot!

cheers

Hiya,

2nd ever Cache! - nice location, but as others have said - beware the spiders! (in hindsight if approached from the right direction you probably won't even see a web!)

Watch the 'Geokiddies' - some red ants have incorporated this into their home.

Cheers
