Logs for Egg Zachary

Finally, after 12 months and several attempts I can claim a smiley for this one. It's been my nemesis for such a long time. Met harrowang this morning at the CCE event in beechworth. I need a new nemesis.
The roses smell particularly extravagant today.

I forgot to mention, something is eating the cache container. It will need replacement. Bones is sending a message with a picture .
This one was our last find for the day. The boys stumbled around for a bit while I enjoyed the creek. The water was freezing but the lads still went for a swim.

FTF with bones74 and Mr Showcase. Last week husband says let's go for a walk next week. We haven't spent a lot of time at the bottom of the mountain so I thought why not.
I have to say I was most pleased when the gps started steering us AWAY from that very scary looking creek crossing. It did take a little bit for the gps to settle and my nerves relax.
What an enjoyable walk. Great track. Beautiful views. Just a really peaceful walk...... until....... the kid starts army marching us on the way out. Barking orders like a drill Sargent. If anyone could hebe an us lol lol lol. Thanks to our drill sargent kid it only took 40mins on the way out instead of the 1.5hr on the way in.
Bloody great day, thank you.

Past lefty on his way out as we were heading in! Great little walk and very cool wreck! Found with bones and Mr showcase
Second attempt at logging this cache! Very nice drive out to ground zero. Santa hats kept me very well amused along the way.

Sent husband into the killer grass.... he hunted and ferreted, wondered this way and that. Then came out sulking. So I let him win the race to the next cache.
Yeeeeeooow no killer spikey grass. Thank you. Didn't even need to get off my bike, husband is that quick.
Sent husband in to hunt, I stayed on the track keeping look out for........ ..... errrrr. Ok fine, I stayed out of the spikey killer grass
Gee it's sunny today, lucky I've got my sunnies on!. Nice quick find.
No flats yet and bum is coping OK with the bike seat.

Victorian caching should come with a warning about the killer spikey grass. Holy crappolaa, this stuff is lethal.
Cache in good order. Husband still alive.

No flats yet, butt ok, haven't fallen off bike. I'd say it's a good day.
Yup very similar to the previous log. This one had us scratching our heads for a bit. Eventually tho, a nice quick easy find was ours.
Hunted for a long while. Eventually got the ahaa moment.
Today we're attempting the rail trail tarawingee to Everton. Please wish us luck, that we don't kill each other, fall off our bikes or get attacked by the killer spikey grass.

Found on the bike track whilst getting off our bikes. I will send you pictures of where we hid it so you can refind and hide if we put it in the wrong spot. We did hide it at the co ords took us
Found this one a lil exposed, so did our best to cover him just a bit.
Happy to report haven't fallen off the bike, and butt still ok, thankyou nappy pants.

LAST ONE!!!! No falls, no grazes, no flat tyers despite husband praying for one. I think he just wanted me up slow down so he could get in front for a bit! No for the speedy downhill easy spin home.
Thanks for a great day
Thanks for a great day
Mmmmm it wasn't where I was expecting it to be, so sent husband to fetch it. His better at somethings and I'm better at others!! I have enjoyed looking at all the old relics left behind along the way.
Funnily enough I found one of these in the rocks on the side of the track while husband chambered his way to GZ.
Really enjoyed watching husband work this out. Also enjoyed the lack of spikey killer grass. We continued on route and found this on our return back to the car.
I enjoyed this. We crossed the rd after having worked out the multi and i saw what I saw and found what I found before husband had even got off his bike or opened his app. Favourite from me.

Thanks for helping us to explore. We came to Wangaratta in February. I may have been enjoying the company of the mob across the fence while the fam did the actual caching! Oh well win win i say.
Very cool. Decided to take the kids for a hike, which of course turned into caching. Thank you.
Cache in good order.

Awwww the lil calfs were resting in the shade of a tree right by GZ. Nice quick find. Thankyou.
That one cache that had you hunting around like a fool lol. Called it a dnf when the kids says those words..... found it lol!!!!
What a beautiful part of the country this is, thankyou for helping us explore it
Moved to the area just before the first covid lockdown. Nice to be out enjoying a day off. Thankyou.
Very cool, I like it! Husband did not enjoy me standing on a long skinny stick making it flick up in the grass!!!!
Quite a busy wee intersection, little bit of stealth required to avoid muggle passer-bys.
