Logs for George Jetson

16-Jul-11
Found by Elroy & Judy of George Jetson on 15 July
Thanks Freddo, the lid is damaged and taking in moisture - we looked at what we'd carried and had little to repair it, sorry! TNLN What a great hike - we made it to the top and back but paying for it in terms of lactic acid build up in the legs a day later. Bye

14-Jul-11
Found by Team George Jetson (George, Judy and Elroy) on 14 July.
Great hiding spot, had us going for a short time and yes, there was plenty of glass around where muggles could watch us. Good hide guys, very clever. TFTC

We'll be back...couldnt find this one but after rereading the hints we'll give it another crack soon. Thanks guys

Found by Team George Jetson (George, Judy and Elroy) on 14 July.
Nice hide guys, very clever. Found by Elroy much to Judy's disgust (Judy not fast enough). TFTC!!

Found by Elroy of Team George Jetson with Judy. Elroy, as the smallest member of the team was "closest" than Judy or George. Looks like there's been a bit of fancy construction go on here!!! N-I-C-E. TFTC

Found by Elroy of Team George Jetson on 14 July. Nice hide Mtn-L. TFTC

George found this cache as it was closest to his height. Very sneaky. We came today, about 11:30am there was no muggles to be seen, parked the car infront of the building and hunted around. The cache is not that obvious and to avoid neighbour muggles to park your car infront of the back of the building. Very Well Done, Contact Zero. TFTC

Well, its hard to say whether we found the cache -

We saw the exact hiding place near the whirlpool (even the print of the container)
We saw the whirlpool and the hiding spot
NO CACHE

Yesterday, there were workmen digging up weeds in the area so we suspect that they might have taken it even by clearing the whirlpool area.

We are going to say that we found it anyway.

11-Jul-11
Found by Elroy Jetson ! The youngest of them all. Judy Jetson started looking around where the cache was hidden but not the GZ location. Elroy saw Judy's idea and copied then found it. Great hide. <3

Spooky!! As huge fans of the Odeon Cinema Semaphore, we never suspected that a cache was to be around the corner! George spotted muggles looking through curtains and George said we were looking very sussed . . . We had to leave in case of them calling the cops. Will visit again. The hint could be more helpful. We didn't have such a good look because there were two cars parked a metre from the building (no joke) Is it something to do with the bricks??

Found it! Very sneaky. It needs maintenance as there was no lid to the cache and we found all the notes smooshed at the bottom of the container. The ground was shaking. VERY WELL CONCEALED!! EXCELLENT CAMO. Found with Team Little Misses, and Little Miss Giggles found the cache for us. Elroy and George were scared that the _________ would separate and Judy was trying to calm them down . . .

TFTC Smile

We couldn't find it! Lots of muggles and junior Jetson fell over on rock. We searched for 45mins but actually the hint isnt that helpful. We had to avoid jogging muggles, junior muggles, muggles on wheels, muggles on gophers, fooded out muggles, paddlepop-ed muggles and muggles on jetties. Smile Sorry if you are one of these listed !! lol.

Sad Could be fixed and relocated. Check out some of our nearby caches.

Elroy Jetson found the cache. Great hide, we had a police vessel zooming past us so we tried not to look sussed. Great cache for the kids. Thanks Samric

Found it! Well hidden. Well camoflaged

10-Jul-11
Found by Elroy, the youngest member of the George Jetson family.
Nice hide, since it was Sunday afternoon, we had to be careful of muggles. Also my GPSMAP60CSx played up with directing us to the cache, I had to pull out the ol' trusty GPS12 to get us to GZ. TFTC

21-Dec-10
Couldnt find - had difficulty due to the GPSr (MAP60CSx) going beserk with false GZ's and distance to GZ's - couldnt triangulate! Needed my old trusty Garmin 12XL to set the much newer MAP60CSx straight "to show it how its done" if you will. Must have been some strange force field that day cause GZ was all over the place. The "All the way down there" hint didnt help so maybe next time - thanks guys!

After 3 no-finds, I checked GZ last night and confirmed "Lily" has been pilfered by Muggles.
It is a high muggle area so we'll temporarily take it offline until we find a better, more camoflaged hidey hole.
Sorry guys. George Jetson

Found by Team George Jetson at lunch today with some steering from Daddy Galumpher. Thanks Daddy G. So it does exist and the remaining velcro happens to be a (non-intentional) red herring. In fact the GPSr was only a short 3 metres or so direct line from the cache but well hidden.
TNLN. Thanks again Galumphers.

09-Oct-07
Found by Team George Jetson whilst with Team Canyonero on 01 Oct 07. TNLN, TFTC.

Not found by Team George Jetson and some workmates at 1pm today 09 Oct.

GPSr gave me a 4m EPE plus the cache title gave it away.
I found a remnant that a cache may have been here but no sign of it. Daddy Galumpher I will contact you offline to discuss but I suggest the cache has been pilfered.
