Logs for Magery

02-Oct-15
TFTC nice hide. Would never have gotten there without the hint. GPS had us off by 5m. What a peaceful place to rest. No pen so saved space on the ample log by logging online only. Smile

TFTC lovely views after a beautiful day. TNLN. Mostly damp contents. Log needs help.

01-Oct-15
TFTC Magery and co. The view might be nice in daylight.

30-Sep-15
Oh so sneaky. Yes I will find this type easy next time. TFTC log full. Minimage will be impressed.

29-Sep-15
TFTC. Quick find. Contents damp. Improved treasure a little. Took nothing. Lovely location.

Mini Mage and I spent 20 minutes searching. From logs we need more experience to solve this one. We will be back. Cheers.

Tftc. Lovely park.

05-Jul-13
On a cold and blowy winter afternoon Magery and Co. found easily. Great spot to sit and watch the water. Just a bit cold to enjoy today. Smile TFTC

Found again today.
Cache, log and contents wet.
Drained and dried as well as could manage in 5 minutes. (i.e. still wet... may need maintenance)
A beautiful day for caching. What a wonderful spot.
At last Skywalker is out there again.

Magery found 4:30 pm.
Nice park. Will have to come back for the others in the area.
Many muggles on a pleasant Sunday afternoon.

Master and Miss Magery were more interested in the surroundings. What a great hidden corner. Thanks for giving us the chance to stop and enjoy it.
2 of the 3 of us managed to get barkers eggs on our shoes Twisted which spoiled the location somewhat.

23-Jul-11
Master M and I found at 2:20ish
What a magnificent view!! Spent some time looking for whales after an easy find.
Took Skywalker TB and left Teen Tanty TB.
I am sure she will enjoy her stay looking over the ocean.

Master M and I found at about 5:00pm on the late afternoon gloom. With rain threatening.
360 degree views made this one a joy to find. So many hiding spots at GZ made this harder than expected.
Took Bean and left top and Poo magnifying glass.

OMG!
Found at 5:30ish. Weather, time and light against us. I thought "Yucky" was going to be tough terrain. With rain slicked undergrowth this was by far the bigger challenge. One that Master M thoroughly enjoyed. He found a make shift walking stick helpful, I just used the trees.

I didn't believe the GPS until the hint was decoded. Beautifully worded hint.
TFTC Bushfire you are amazing! Wink
The goodies were looking a bit sparse. Took nothing, added small pouch.

10-Jul-11
Another good hunt. Thanks hell+back.
With 3 mini Magery mates helping find with clues, we had co-ords in short time.
Took earings, left pirates.

Found 3:45ish
A dreary muggle free day. Found easily after some head scratching to get coords. A lot of fun.
Looking forward to doing more in the series but do not expect to find the final.
Log full! May need help.
Took TB LN.

Found 3:15ish
Having checked 2 other coords on the 9th, rechecked our solution and followed a different lead.
Was a dreary find in the wet and the camo caused a couple of fast heart beats.
Signed log TNLN.

Master Magery finally falters.
I doubt we would have found this if not for the tenacity of BrentRonin and MrsBR. Great meeting you both and thanks for the lift just as the drizzle arrived.
Was a really tough find, terrifically muggle proofed.
A tip for young players: If you are going to be near the corner of Green Street and Chapel Street Prahran, do not expect you are anywhere near the corner of Green Street and Chapel Street Richmond. Red Face You will be about 3 km south in fact. Which is quite a pleasant walk on mild winter Sunday afternoon. If you have the time. Smile

Found at 4:00ish.
MasterM again. Very clever hide. We where at and around GZ for a while before found. In the end it was found by sound.
Took Jack left Batman.

13-Jun-11
Master Magery Stikes again.
Found about 9:30am. Driving the wall was like being on a mystical road to and from nowhere with nothing but cloud in all directions. An amazing pea soup of a morning. No wonder the fish where not biting. Nice muggle free area, but given the weather they could have been 20 feet from us and not even noticed.

Miss and Mr Magery where at GZ first but Master with his super cache senses tingling only had to try 2 spots.
Took butterfly sticker and left crab (more appropriate given the location I think).

Cache may need some help. Log very damp. I guess everything gets damp in the middle of a cloud.

Neat Hide.

Mini Magery mates help with find. At about 2:00pm.
Lots of muggles fishing in area so at the general location sent the kids in to finish off.
An easy but unexpected find in the end and a really cute cache.
The cold had my pen struggling. Still plenty of room in the log.

04-Jun-11
Found at 5:00 by Master and me.

Mrs M solved Sudoku in minutes. Miss M busy with something else.
Master M keen for a find despite daylight fast fading.
Snaking through the undergrowth to GZ was as much fun as exploring the goodies inside.

TFTC and congrats on an ingenious mystery co-ords method.
Very clever!
Thank God for Mrs M. Big Grin

P.S. Must remember to mark car in future! Got turned around at GZ. If not for Master's sense of direction may have been truly lost. Red Face

Found 5:30(ish)
Was at GZ for at least 30 min before finally discovered. What a perfect place to hide a cache.
I visit this area often, but I never knew the wetlands were so well looked after.

Found at 9:18pm Mr. Green
I make the coords to be S38 07.604 E144 25.517. A little bit off will have you in the sea in 3 directions.
I am really in this for the kids but thought I'd give this one a go to be a chance at a FTF. Even tried to make it harder by looking for the black marker on a dark moonless overcast night. It didn't work. Very easy find. Not sure that it is in the spirit of Trigpoint finding but anyway.
Am surprised that only 1 car of parkers were taking advantage of the awesome views. Maybe it is a bit smelly to be romantic. If they only knew that love does not always smell pretty. Razz

found about 5:00pm (log says 4:30)
I have passed the salt many times and I never knew there was a picnic table here! Trickiest find so far. Very satisfying.

Hey RedPaw, This one looks like it would be a lot of fun for the kids. Any update on when (if) it might be back up and running?

Why? [?]
Found at 5:30 pm (ish). Given the description, I thought I had better find this one before the rain comes. I can see that it would be a horrendous find in the wet but walking the rutted track in its current condition was no problem, even in thongs (well you did set the challenge). Could be very different in a couple of days.
No nasty smells and only a couple of unidentified rustles in the reeds. Looking across the river from GZ at sunset would have been romantic if the journey was prettier.
Looking forward to finding more of yours Bushfire.

A sympathetic local checked GZ for me today and confirms that all is in order. Cache safely stowed.
Thanks again Derringer, for a fun find in a peaceful location thick with quickly fading history.

26-Apr-11
Our 2nd find 4:30 pm. Nice hide. Had talked ourselves into thinking we had co-ords wrong. Almost abandoned when tell tail noticed. Dads shoulders where stepladder substitute.
Unsure of rules regarding token so did not remove.

Nice hide. 1st looked yesterday but many muggles about. Found quickly on our second attempt. Confirm stemicmitsar claim log now full, wet and damaged. Bigger than expected but well camouflaged. Needs maintenance.
Cheers,

12:30 pm Our 1st official find. Yay! Good fun Big Grin . Kids swapped treasures. A camping dirt bike crowd across the road did not seem to take much notice. Hidden more completely than found due to the chance of camper interest. Really hope we didn't blow our 1st. To ensure cache integrity, I will arrange a site visit when peace from motor bikes is restored [8)].
