Logs for Team Welsh 

Got real lucky here, spotted something of interest and sure enough, there was the cache. Cool camo and thanks for all your caches placed for others to find. 

Knew not to make any assumptions here after reading some logs so we stood back and Mrs KC spotted what we were looking for. It was nicely tucked away so we struck it lucky with a quick find. Lots of people at the gymkhana going on next to GZ. TFTC 

Mrs KC and I headed up to WW after meeting in Orewa and this was our first stop in town. Place was pretty empty today but always hard to make these finds discreetly. Made it quick and headed to the other one at the other end of this complex. TFTC 

Took the old road south so we could find these caches. Seems like years since we have been along this road. Great view of the satellites from here and the cache was soon found. Thanks 

After reading the hint we knew what we were looking for but it did take us a while to spy what we were after. This blended in well so I was very happy when Mrs KC said she had spotted it. TFTC 

Took a bit for the GPS to settle but there was really one sensible spot for the cache to be hidden and there it was. Cute camo and nice to find something different. TFTC 

Mrs KC and I were unsure of walking past the no entrance signs due to construction but figured it was Sunday and no one would be working today. Soon spied the 4 that others have mentioned and found it in the 2nd place searched. TFTC 

This place sure has changed over the last couple of years. Came in from the showground side and found in the first spot checked. Thanks for all your caches up here. 

Remember a previous cache here which we could only find a log on the ground for. Nice to come back and take in the views and find the new cache. Thanks 

Hard to do these finds without making any noise but Mrs KC and I did it quickly, signed and replaced and onto the next. TFTC 

Did lots of counting of various things from both ends and settled on the most sensible one where we were able to make the find. Lots of building going on around here but it was nice and quiet for us today. TFTC 

Just the ladies of KC and TW today as both men were working. This was our meeting place today and we soon spotted what we were looking for and if I didn't know it was a cache I wouldn't want to pick it up and even then, it was an ick moment Mrs KC had the job of retrieving the log but as she was flicking it, it went flying and we couldn't find it again. I had some spare log paper in the car so we have replaced the original with a new one. Sorry about that, but the cache is all good for the next finders. TFTC 

After finding the other new one close to here we came along the road until we got as far as we could. A few places to choose from here but spied something that looked sensible and promising and were rewarded with a cache. Thanks 

Checked a few spots before a change of view enabled us to make the find. Goodness knows what the passing motorists thought we were up to. TFTC 

Last cache of the day with Mrs KC. We managed 15/15 and this was our last one. Waiwera is so much quieter now and after finding the cache we drove past the old pools site which is pretty sad to see. TFTC 

On holiday for the weekend with family and had time to do this adlab. Beautiful in the forest today after all that rain yesterday. Thanks 

Mrs KC and I went one side and Mr KC went the other and he soon announced he had it in hand. TFTC 

This is a very pretty walk and I don't recall coming here before, lovely light coming through the trees and although there were a few items resembling the hints, we soon spotted what we were searching for. TFTC 

Out with KC and none of us managed to find this. Really only one spot that we thought it would be but came up empty handed. Checked a couple of other spots just in case, not sure how it could have gone unless it was muggled. 

Second stop of the morning and Mrs KC spied the hint objects as we got close to GZ and Mr KC did the honours here. Nice little walkway to come to. TFTC 

Last one of the day today and it was a good one to finish on, appreciate the effort that has gone into the camo here. TFTC 

Nice clear hint here made for a quick find. All the cabbage trees and flaxes are having a wonderful flowering year and this area will look gorgeous in just a couple more weeks. TFTC 

We are doing a great job finding caches that have been placed since our last visit out this way. Nice little park and we did a small loop walk. TFTC 

Usual Sunday outing with KC and today we were out to find the caches we ran out of time for last time. This was our first stop and once we found the right spot it was a quick find. TFTC 

A few places to search but Mr KC had the cache in hand fairly quickly. TFTC 

Love a good multi and knowing that this CO does great ones it didn't take much for us to decide to have a go. Soon had the first part of the story sorted out, managed the middle part ok and off we went to the final part of the story. Sadly, the log book has gone again so we left a temp log and have confirmed with the CO that it was indeed the final. Fav point for the whole set up, appreciate the effort that has gone into this. TFTC 

A distinct odour of something decomposing under this here bridge so glad we didn't have to go under. Mr KC spied what we were after and wangled it out of the hiding spot. TFTC 

Another nice little spot and we soon had our count correct and were rewarded with a find. Thanks for all your caches you have placed for others to find. 

Wandered along here from our DNF at eelman and it was a very pleasant meander indeed. Saw the train go past while we were here and the cache proved no problem to find. TFTC 

That is a very random thing to park in a backyard, we noticed it had steps going up to it and wondered what it is being used for. Cache is nice and safe and we enjoyed the view from here. TFTC 

Had a wander around town while waiting for the men to finish their bike ride. All good here. Tftc 

The plan was that the men would cycle from te aroha to matamata to try out the bikes for an upcoming trip and then cache on the way back to te aroha. Sad to say we had a later than expected start to the day so ran out of time for the return trip. We picked them up with the car here so only managed to find this one. We will be back. 

Another restaurant area and another cache. Sadly this location is used as a toilet so be very careful when searching as there is some unpleasantness nearby. That sort of cito we are unprepared to do. All well with the cache though. 

Familiar type of hide so no trouble locating. Took the dog for a walk here from the info center and we had a lovely time wandering along here. Tftc 

Had some time to fill in before meeting the men from their cycle ride so did some caches in town. All good here. Tftc 

The men were cycling from te aroha to matamata so the ladies drove down to meet them and did some caches to fill in the time. All good here and always love spending time in this town. Tftc

Trying to wrangle him and take pics was challenging but a really interesting place to come. Thanks for using your virtual here, nice place to visit and not one I knew about before. 

Heading south so perfect to stop and check out the view and let the dog stretch his legs. A couple of people about doing the same thing so paid no attention to us. Thanks for bringing us here.

Love caches at these spots, this one was really full so had a search through for some holiday books and Mrs KC made the find here. TFTC 

2nd cache along here for us today, lovely walk and we eventually do get around to it, but just takes us a while, No problems here and along we go to the next. TFTC 

Another cache that KC had found that I hadn't so we stopped along the way to Universal Drive so I could make the find. Thanks for replacing. 

Mr KC and I carried on to this cache from the last while Mrs KC moved the car to the other end. Can't imagine I would be good at disc golf but there were a few people having a go today. TFTC 

Saw this cache published before I left for KC's for a day of caching. Figured out what sort of cipher it was but couldn't quite get it all. Headed off to KC's and we and found enough info together to get the tick. Therefore, this was our first stop of the day. Really interesting walk to GZ and once the coast was clear of 4 legged and 2 legged walkers we swooped in for the find. Thanks for another great puzzle and the cache. 

Mr KC accompanied me to this cache, they had found it before and it was great to have some company. The cache was located on the ground so I tucked it away in an obvious spot. TFTC

Tried one entrance into this area but the bridge is broken so we found another spot and headed for here. Lovely place to come caching and we had no problems with the find here. TFTC 

Had a nice morning out caching with KC and we enjoyed all the caches we found today. Nice sort stroll to GZ and the cache was soon located. TFTC 

This looked like a perfect hiding spot for wetas but gladly there were none there today, managed to find a cache though so signed, replaced and back on the road again. TFTC 

Meeting place with Mrs KC and we had a great time wandering through the park collecting caches along the way. Another cache signed off today. Thanks for all your caches we found today.
