The hint was essential, even though our GPS didn't seem to have too many problems.
We spent 5 minutes doing the exactly correct thing, right next door to where this little guy hides. About a minute away from giving up, we decided to methodically check the neighbours and found it on the first try! Highly appreciate the cleverness of this hide.

This sneaky little cache definitely deserves a higher difficulty rating!
After a day at the beach,we decided to knock off this little local hide, thinking it would be a quick splash and dash. Upon approaching GZ, we spotted some other cachers, so decided to hang back and not spoil the surprise for ourselves. After they left,we saw the DNF pop up and realised this was going to be a harder find.
20 solid minutes of scrambling about in thongs,and trying to deduct from previous logs, we were very close to giving up.
We had deduced the cache wasn't necessarily at the base of the *main* trunk, and decided to give 'em one last methodical poke.
Finally, some well earned success!

A cold and blustery evening was perfect for inspiring some quick detective work!

Being Bean's closest cache to home, we've wanted to cross this off the list since we started caching but just haven't gotten around to it. We decided with the lovely weather this Father's Day, we'd make it out mission. After a lovely walk, we found this lovely cache! Very clever little design.

After spending half an hour of the evening before poking every nook and cranny around GZ, we left feeling defeated. The next day, inspiration hit, and a strong hunch Beans had turned out to be right.
My gosh, this was devilish. Extra tickles to have it in hand after failing the first evening So clever!

This is my Terrific Tasmanian boyfriend, having a post dinner recline and thinking of what cache to find on the way home. Thanks to him I've explored more of the state and seen places I never would have otherwise. 

This was our second search for this devil of a hide, and once we actually found it boy did we feel silly for missing it the first time. So clever

A post-dinner stroll and a few damp and cold minutes of poking turned up this long-living cache.

Ham, being more agile had no problem with the terrain, but Beans almost went on a log roll of her own getting to the waterline.
Finding the best perspective for enjoy the view also show a likely locale for the cache, and Ham's hunch was right.
The contents of the cache are dry and safe, but part of the camo doesn't want to stay attached to the container any longer. We hid it away safe and secret, but it might need some love.

After a few muggle bike riders to left, we approached GZ and started to poke around. Found after 10/15 minutes.

A good bit of hard thinking and mumbling was required to find this cache!
Early into our search, Ham mentioned that the (amazing) cache surrounds would have been a good spot for a cache. We should have trusted our spidey-senses and investigated better! Every other option being excluded, we returned to it and figured it out.
Much eye rolling ensued, then applause at this high quality hide.

After three DNFs we were worried the cache had grown legs or been muggled.
Standing at GZ, Beans spied a style of cache she had seen online but not IRL, making this an easy spotting but admirable hide!

After a fossicking trip with the Lapidary Club, we absolutely had do this cache. We had grand plans for more, but after digging for hours we were spent

Pretty straightforward find, but the bug on top gave me a scare! (Don't worry, not real )

Cache and contents in good condition, slightly damp but book is dry. No trowel inside though. Left come carnelian and agate we fossicked.
