Logs for Wandering Shebuss

04-Feb-11
Found with Sully, BaronX & nieces who thankfully are less squeamish about spidery holes than me- took spinning top, left Dune Buggy. TFTC.

Found with nieces, Sully & BaronX - perfect day for caching. TFTC Mossy.

07-Aug-10
Found it after a steep climb. Wow we are unfit!

Found with my gorgeous nieces and BaronX - some super friendly Magpies helped us find it.

Ahh fond memories of the Railway Children....

25-Jul-10
As we walked into the cemetery just before sunset we startled several rabbits who were scampering around the graves - it added a touch of lightness to quite a somber experience. Some of the graves tell stories that are so sad but we were glad to have the chance to visit this place. We left a frog and picked up Travel Coin to take home to Adelaide hills to place. Found with BaronX - TFTC

This took us longer than we expected - rocks as far as the eye could see and I think we looked under nearly all of them! We had to be careful not to disturb the slumbering shingleback lizards that live here. TFTC

Third cache for Baron X and I today. I love this sneaky kind of hide! TFTC

Loved this one - reminded me of James Mays Meccano bridge challenge. Too high for me to reach but Baron X has monkey skills and made short work of this one for us!

24-Jul-10
A quick find on a sunny July morning. Our first visit to Sevenhills but definitely not our last. found with Baron X - TNLN

Baron X and I hunted around for a bit but then the muggles began to arrive...one, two , three cars worth! We didn't want the muggles thinking we were up to anything odd snuffling around beneath the boardwalk so we had to give up on this one for today.

23-Jul-10
What a beautiful and fascinating spot. We wandered in near sunset and took some time reading the stones and trying to imagine what life was like for these people. Thanks for leading us to this little pocket of history. TNLN

Found with Baron X on the first day of our holiday in the Clare Valley. Quick find...when you enter the tree from the right direction and angle.

16-Jul-10
A nice easy find - found with Purepelt (her first find). Took lizard, left soldier - TFTC

What an interesting spot - i love it when geocaching takes me to these hidden pockets of history. Found with PurePelt. Took car - left mother of pearl button. TFTC.

19-Jun-10
When I was young... telephones were just for making calls. On our late night walk we realised the drizzle was keeping the muggles away so we finally had our chance to look for this cache. very clever hide. TFTC.

15-Jun-10
I've been wanting to visit Mossy's cache for ages - had some spare time on my lunch break. Unfortunately no pen so I couldn't log but I left my gluten free macaroon recipe and took a delicious sounding almond cake one. Clever hide and a beautiful walk. TFTC.

14-Jun-10
Not even our nieces sharp eyes could help us with this one - after reading the last posts we searched for anything resembling trash but perhaps the scouts had been through - not a trace of cache... or any trash. We will try again next year.

We missed out last night (too many sharp twigs in the dark) but spotted it this morning. What a beautiful camouflage! Took chicken - left lyrebird coin.

Great drive by - a great spot, nice easy find for my clever niece. Took pink car - left happy frog. TFTC.

A great way to introduce the nieces to caching - be careful walking around the area as we spotted several tiny hopping mice living in the holes that dot the ground. This was such a spectacular spot that we would not have found without this hide - Thank you!

13-Jun-10
Took our nieces on first caching adventure but we lost the sun too quickly and poking around in the scrub is prickly after dark! Going back tomorrow...

Took my gorgeous niece on her first caching adventure - a nice simple one to start us off. TFTC

Took my fabulous niece on her first caching adventure - found it after poking our fingers in lots of cobwebby holes!

16-Nov-08
Wandered around but no luck- GPS was having problems settling. We were also a bit unsure exactly what we were looking for, we are new to this business. As we finished a new team arrived - we hope they were more successful.

Yay - found one! After being outsmarted by the last two hides we visited we finally found one. Great to explore parts of our lovely area that we haven't seen before. Took little car - left tiny santa
