I would like to think the walk to this cache from the car park walked off the paddle pop I had earlier, nice location.

What a lovely spot for a cache, really liked the area and the efforts they had put in for walking trails.

Mum spotted this cache, couldn't really see much of the view even when we did stand on the seat.

Quick spot once we parked the car.

Mum's car isn't really made for the "Old Soldiers" Road but we slowly made our way to this cache from The Veteran, she was happy we didn't have to drive back that way!!

When you know where something is, it is so easy to find!! I have been to this cache 5 times, and bothered The Piratz by email until he finally just gave in and told me where it was - it seems I was fixated on the wrong area.

Thanks to The Piratz for helping me out, I can head back to the UK with my Concord West nemesis cache in the bag!

This cache turned out to be a bit of a palava, landed from Melbourne at 9pm and had been asked to drop a TB in it, so I booted up the GPS and mum and I tried to get to the cache from the M5 but there was no access as the road we wanted we couldn’t get on, so had to go quite a way up on the M5 before we could turn around, we then had to go right down to Bestic Street to head around and back up, then struggled to find parking but in the end my mum was so frustrated we decided to risk parking anywhere.

It was difficult trying to the beach in the pitch black with only two torches (but we did see some rabbits), when we finally got close to GZ and mum and I were searching in the torchlight, trying to figure out all the paths + I shouldn't of been wearing thongs (flip-flops) and a skirt either going through these bushes in the dark as I kept thinking I was seeing things like spiders and snakes and then when we finally got to GZ I scraped my leg getting down there.

Anyhows, we found the cache and then watched some planes taking off and landing, really really interesting spot, we could actually smell the fuel from the planes - we saw one that tried to land and then aborted and went straight back up, then finally came back down again - it was a bit scary being that close to that but overall we found it exhilarating.

Finally got home at 11pm, so two hours for one cache but I got the TB where it needed to be.

Picked up this cache on the way back from my birthday breakfast with Nicole and Elisa, we had a little walk in Albert Park and it was really lovely, the grass must of just been cut and it smelt gorgeous in there.

Was staying nearby and as we crossed the road to head to the beach we took a little detour to pick up this cache, interesting spot with great views.

Am back in Australia for Christmas and was visiting friends in Melbourne for NYE and she suggested we head to Sorrento for a visit and as I searched for nearby caches I was so excited to see it was an walenators cache as we met on my last visit 2 years ago – I hope you are doing well and had a good Christmas and new years Big Grin

As for the cache, I was not loving the bee situation but managed to get it out and back without getting stung.

TFTC ~1215~

Had left my friends on the beach while I walked up to pick up this cache, found quickly so I could go back and join them.

The best cache I never found, mum and I had such fun searching for this cache earlier today - thanks for bringing a smile to our faces.

26-Dec-11
After reading previous logs I had an idea of what to expect but it still managed to scare the be'jesus out of me, I jumped so high and mum just laughed at me.

Great cache, thanks ~1212~

Quick find on a visit to the area for Boxing Day lunch.

TFTC ~1213~

Mum and I had to wait for the 902 to leave and once it had, I soon had the cache in hand - nice hide.

There was a family nearby playing Christmas day cricket but mum and I decided to have a little search, and I was looking somewhere and mum went that is a baby red back spider crawling along, at this point I decided to call it a day.

Mum and I spent a fair bit of time searching for this cache but couldn't find it.

Really nice hide, enjoyed getting this one.

Second visit in a week for this cache, but after finding The Cat stops Here - #2 we decided to give this another go on our way home, mum spotted it again while I was somewhere else.

Lovely place to be for Christmas, so many families in the park - really good feel to the area.

TFTC ~1211~

Christmas Day caching, you can't beat it especially with wonderful views from the wharf.

We had to wait some people out, took some photos and then mum spotted it - really great container.

Mum and I enjoyed our walk here and the view once we got there, we found the cache without too much hassle but the lid hadn't been put on properly so it was full of water but we took everything out, wiped it down and put it back securely, the log was still ok as it is was in its Glad bag.

Took Wackydo's Exotic travel bug, Left Pack 2 Winchester VA to continue its journey.

Merry Christmas Eve, found with my mum on our walk around Olympic Park, I so love it down here.

TFTC ~1207~

Mum and I took the wrong path so had to go back on ourselves, but lucky we did as we saw the most gorgeous view of Sydney in the distance.

I am not sure I completely understand the point of this cache, but the hint made me laugh - found with my mum after doing some shopping at Burwood.

My nanna lives nearby this cache, so after stopping by for lunch we went and picked up this cache.

We followed the GPS and ended up right by the post office, after searching there decided to try our luck across the road and then grabbed the cache.

Co-ords are way out on this one, without the hint and the cache title you couldn't find it.

TFTC ~1202~

Mum and I stopped here on Monday but as it had been raining + I had my thongs on, so I couldn't get down the grassy bank so decided to call it a day - on our drive back today we came prepared in sneakers and down I went, took forever for me to find the cache, went too low, then when I went up I was standing on it searching around it but I got there in the end.

Really enjoyed it, TFTC ~1196~

Picked up on our drive from Gulgong to Mudgee, when we found the cache the lid was not on it properly and when I retrieved it there was no log inside, I think it might of blown away - I signed the piece of paper attached to the lid saying this is a geocache instead.

Loved the name of the cache.

TFTC ~1198~

When we pulled up there was a ute parked right in front of the information, mum and I hovered around and he finally drove off so we could search for the cache, when we found it mum explained what the hint meant in relation to where it was.

TFTC ~1199~

Mum and I stopped here on our drive back to Sydney to pick up some lollies at "The Candy Store" and then we walked up to find this cache, really lovely views, thanks for bringing us here.

TFTC ~1203~

I had read the terrain / difficulty wrong so thought it was a terrain 4.5 so was surprised I could easily walk to this cache when I got there, then after a short search mum and I spotted the cache, not sure a 4.5 difficulty is warranted though but still a lot of places to look.

We then sat down and ate our morning tea nearby.

TFTC ~1197~

New where it would be when I was approaching as it is such a great spot, we then went and had a look at the water.

I liked this cache, thanks

After being jumped on by a dog, then having a look at the water mum and I went and found this cache, spotted fairly quickly.

Mum pointed out this cache as we approached.

After the most fabulous 24 hours at Dubbo Zoo (we went and stayed in the Zoofari overnight) we grabbed this cache on the way out.

TFTC ~1187~

Quick grab on our visit to Dubbo.

TFTC ~1188~

I was searching the completely wrong spot, mum was getting bitten by mosquitoes so she wanted to be out of there quickly so she searched further afield and then found it.

Really nice park.

TFTC ~1192~

We came to this cache twice, I spotted it straight away but there was someone at the bus stop so we decided to move on and come back, when we did come back mum and I were just too vertically challenged to retrieve it Sad

I have seen quite a few of these so it was a quick grab and then onto the next cache!

TFTC ~1193~

Lovely views from here, we enjoyed getting this cache.

TFTC ~1189~

Mum spotted the hint, I then found the cache - we then walked down to the water and enjoyed the view.

TFTC ~1191~

After reading some logs I knew I needed to widen my search, found the cache about 50ft away from the co-ords.

Mum and I stopped at Bathurst for a break on our drive up to Dubbo, the rain had stopped and we quickly ran up and got this cache - my GZ was at the spotlights but after reading some previous logs knew I needed to widen the search and then we spotted the cache.

Felt a bit uncomfortable up here, it felt like the bridge was moving while we were searching, in the end it was my mum who spotted it - I was over complicating it I think.

TFTC ~1181~

Easy find, logbooks is soaked so I took a photo of the cache.

TFTC ~1182~

Had to go up and down on both sides till we spotted it, nice hide.
