Logs for geospyder

We are from the High Desert of Nevada where the temps get up to 46C in our summer BUT there is no humidity. Definitely not used to the humidity. This was our port to do some caching. Walked just over six miles. We misinterpreted the description when it read "The cache is not hidden in the gardens, the sculpture or in the white rocks underfoot." to mean do not go on the white rock. We were standing there somewhat confused when a local geocacher on his lunch break gave us a hand. Once we knew we could go on the white rock the container was quickly in hand. We asked the cacher if there was another nearby that was unique and he pointed us to "Windmill Reprised". Thanks for the hide.

Walked just over six miles. I was surprised how long it took us to spot the container and then was embarrassed at how easy it should have been. Thanks for the hide.

We are from the High Desert of Nevada where the temps get up to 46C in our summer BUT there is no humidity. Definitely not used to the humidity. This was our port to do some caching. Walked just over six miles. This cache was suggested to us from a local cacher who was on his lunch break at "City Plaza" cache. I believe he is the person who maintains this cache. If so, you will probably read this post. We wanted you to know this was a special cache to end our visit to Brisbane in that my wife is originally from the Netherlands, the land of windmills. Thank for the suggestion and the hide.

We are from the High Desert of Nevada where the temps get up to 46C in our summer BUT there is no humidity. Definitely not used to the humidity. Noticed that another cacher stated "Cache quickly found, can corrupted, leaky, no logbook." We were there on the same date. The log was damp but everything was intact. Maybe the other cacher found a different container? Anyway, thanks for the hide.

Even with the heat and humidity we decided to go for another cache. Used the shade of the local craft market as a brief reprise between the caches. I see that squashball2 opted to just do the one cache. Thanks for the hide.

Lonely cache - all the muggles were in town. Was able to visit the small beach across the road to grab a shell with a hole in it for my wife back on the ship. She didn't come ashore since she wasn't feeling well after breaking her wrist two days ago. It was a shame she didn't come since she loves crafts and would have loved the galleries at the base of the stairs. Thanks for the hide.
