Logs for inlaws&outlaws

19-Apr-03
Just beaten by Simo to the treasure. The team should have pedalled faster. A great day and beautiful weather for a cycle trek. A great track for children to cycle on. Took nothing, left nothing. We couldn't carry anything else on our bikes. Thanks fellow caches

Our first first. Was a great cycle for the whole family to find this one. Great excitement being our first cache to be the first visitors. swapped a coopers fridge magnet for a frog. Thanks Barry and Beryl a great day.

Our second find for the day. Had a very nice picnic lunch at the suggested tables. Long pants might be advised for this search. A nice walk from the car park. Took nothing left nothing. Thanks again Barry and Beryl

Our third find for the day, and our second first for this team. A nice walk from the car park for the whole family. Well hidden. Watch the scratchy bushes near the cache. What a cache for goodies in this one. We swapped a key ring and lindemans pin for a calculator organiser.
Thanks again Beryl and Barry.

Missed out this one. We found this area far to populated to try to find on a saturday afternoon. With thanks to the two weddings on in the gardens. Will try this one again on a less popular day.

Had trouble with this one. The lizards freaked the kids out a bit. I was getting a bit nervous with the kids hanging over the edge looking for the container. Will return another day with the clues in hand. We only had the coordinates with us and were not sure of the size of the cache.

An interesting search with two GPS units. Some help from team Unicycle watching nearby with the color of the wire helped. Took us quite a while to find. Thanks Team Unicycle our only success for the day.

Couldn't find this one today. Lost of people around to look too hard. Will return again another day.

The smallest member of our team managed to find this one, once we had narrowed down the area for them. Little hands and good climbing skills were effective. A really nice setting and it was good to see that the area had recently been restored. We swapped the sinkers for a Coopers fridge magnet.
Thanks Team Piggy

Our second find for the day. The children needed some major help with the maths. Have lived within a few KM of this site for a long time and never visited it. It is a wonderful view from there and worth the short walk. Took a lizard and left a lapel pin. We retreated after this one for icecreams and the beach.

We huffed and we puffed and failed dismally. Could it be that the wedding party didnt have enough presents for the b and g? Anyway, we await further inspiration from others that visit this great part of Adelaide.

Our 2 GPS were also both showing 20m from the site when found but still managed it in around 2 minutes. Now its off to the pub. Took car and dog, left fridge magnet and lapel pin. Cheers I&O

Found at 2.45 after doing some 4wding and lunch south of Cox scrub. Some nice views and an interesting location for the cache. Cheers I&O
