Not sure about it taking an hour - maybe in a car, but it took me about 2 on foot and luckily I was given a lift down the hill and quite a way towards the second co-ords! Good fun though, even though I think I will need to sleep for a week to recover!

Nice cache, interesting contents! I did try to say hello to the owner, but I went into the wrong door (and the lady didn't seem impressed) but the correct door was locked as it was after 5pm!

So far in NZ, I have found at least one cache in every town I've stayed in. So when I still hadn't found one in Kaikoura by 9pm on my last night here, I took drastic action and walked out to this cache in the dark! I wouldn't recommend it, as the cache site has NO street lighting whatsoever!

However, I was lucky that the cache could be found using the light from a mobile phone and the stars were absolutely amazing, with a really clear Milky Way! Just glad my night mission was a success!!

Found it at last - I came here just over 2 weeks ago to get it, but the area was completely full of muggles... filming an Australian TV commercial!!! Nice easy find today though!

Nicely hidden! Had to use a stick to remove the logbook, I've tried to put it in the "lid" rather than the "box", but it may be worth checking it out as it's getting a little ragged!

My 100th cache! Woohoo!

Lovely area, nice to have a walk to let Mark calm down after he lost his keys down a drain in the car park! Luckily, I was there to sort it all out and while he had kittens, I calmly retrieved said keys with a bendy stick! I certainly won't forget #100!!!
