This sign is located east of Rockwall, TX on SH205. It is the boundary marker between Rockwall County on the South and Collin County on the North. I guess because of the nature of the sign, the local law enforcement and immigration are not too concerned with discernment between the two counties. This boundary crosses Lake Lavon just a few hundred yards due west allowing the majority and the best parts of the lake to reside in Rockwall County. Interestingly, there is an entering Collin County sign just south of this sign about 15 feet into Rockwall County, which sign is correct?

These are tractors with steel wheels; however the internal combustion is performed by a beast of burden, i.e. mule or horse. They are located out east of Rockwall, TX on SH205. There is an old farm and ranch house up on the hill and they seem to be using these old implements as boundary or fencing around the front of their property.

I was fortunate to find this CB Angel will seeking thepadre’s “Serenity†cache hide. It is smaller that the others posted, however it looks very similar. I do not know if the CB Angel is of one defined style, so I will post this as a find pending approval of the cache owner. If it is not acceptable, I suppose I will have to keep searching. TFTC

I have been searching for one of these for quite a while. Thought I had one of a giant roller skate months ago, but it had been moved. Found this Major League ball and bat east of my home off Interstate 30 enroute to Greenville, TX.

I found this one by chance and “Remembered the Alamoâ€. Out east of my hometown of Rockwall is this new structure with a flavor from the San Antonio mission of more than a century ago. It is now the new location of the “Spirit Energy†company.

This is one big buck. This rider and bronco are elevated about 20 feet above ground and from down here appear to be a bit larger than life size. It’s hard to tell from way down here. They are composed of fiberglass or plastic. This wild man and beast are at the entrance to the Lake Tawakoni Trade Days Park. Found it today while enjoying the East Texas countryside. TFTC

Wow, what a sight. I had never heard of carillon until seeking this Locationless cache. The architecture and stained glass work on this church are amazing. This carillon has 49 bells. I wish I could have heard it played while I was there. I will definitely make a trip back for that.

Up until this school year my town of Rockwall TX, had only one freshman center and one senior high school, thus one mascot between the two of them. Well beginning this year there are now two senior high schools and we now will have some cross-town rivalries, yeah baby. Friday nights just got hotter. This is the mascot of the former high school, The Yellowjackets. This mascot is painted on the backside of the baseball field dugouts.

This is the Thomas and Mattie Brown House in Wylie Texas. This is a very classic Victorian style home with the fish scaled clap board siding, the columned wrap around porch, and the cylindrical tower. It is open for tours, but was closed when we arrived. Will have to make the trip back during business hours. TFTLC

Found this Skate Park in Rockwall, Texas. This park is walking distance from my home. It is owned and run by the folks at the “Church on the Rock†Christian Fellowship. This park is really teaming with young souls headed for destruction on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
