03-Sep-23
Found after a two-night stay camping at Mt Hay, fossicking for thunder eggs and rheolite.
Had such a great time. Thanks for placing a geocache here! We encourage all to visit the gift shop, even if you don’t have time to dig in the dirt.

06-Aug-23
Checked on this one, all good here

02-Jan-23
Aargh hate these metro DNFs!!! Will try again another day ️

03-Oct-22
Actually took us a fair amount of time to locate, even though this cache container was my first guess. Thanks for the nightcache, my Geokids’ first one!

“Just a normal park cache” was exactly what we needed tonight after a dnf and some unexpectedly long hunts today. Thanks for placing a cache here, just around the corner from my in-laws, our regular overnight stay when in Brissy. Awesome find.

02-Oct-22
Our spidey senses must be off today

Found on a cloudy, drizzly day. We came to check out TheCube. So excited to go into this house; in all my uni years, I never realised it was open to the public. So cool. Geokids especially loved the servants stairs and shower room. They wanted their bedroom in the wine cellar! Thanks for the virtual.

Didn’t spend long looking once we noticed the previous logs. Also the muggle activity was high and we don’t normally nightcache. Hope this one is still there. We’ll be back soon to check.

Found on a rainy day when we came to visit TheCube. A favourite from us! Thanks for the city cache. We left a tiny swag for the next finder Smile

30-Sep-22
Unique container:)
Thanks for this hide. Having a fun morning out and about.

A nice hide, thanks!

Finally a container big enough for some GeoKid swag! Thanks for placing caches along this trail. We are having a lovely morning out.

Out on a morning adventure with SmallWombat and Sweet-Sour. Geokid2 spotted it first. Thanks for the cache Smile

A nice wander along the track to this spot. Thanks for the hide!!

Found on a morning cache adventure with Geokids, Geopups, Sweet-Sour and SmallWombat. I feel like I’m cheating driving between spots instead of walking along the RailTrail, but needs must when out with kids in the heat. Thanks for the cache!

16-Sep-22
Spent a few minutes searching. Will have to try again next time!

09-Sep-22
Had to do a quick recon to check out the location for tomorrow’s official opening. What a happy surprise to be ftf on the most easily accessible of the new rail trail geocaches. Might go for a bit of a wander before heading home to make sandwich fillings for the big even tomorrow! Thanks to FredaFiat for placing new caches in my little town!!

Bit of a rainy day to be out, but we caught the geocaching bug with an FTF on the Rail Trail this morning. I’ll be honest, we are still trying to figure the puzzle out, we got here from the description alone, but we promise to solve it retrospectively now we’ve noted the ground zero coords. Thanks for a very cool hide so close to my house

Finally got it open to write my name on it!! Childproof Thanks for the cache. I love trains and railways stations so this is just perfect. Love how well-malt the grounds are here.

19-Jun-21
Found on a crisp morning walk with the whole geofamily! Kids were complaining as usual, trying their best to ruin our walk, until I thought ‘might check if there’s a cache around here’ … enthusiasm for the walk was reignited!! Thanks for putting the cache here, gave us a proper chance to teach the kids about treading gently in nature.

Found on a windy beach trip on our little holiday to Noosa. Now we will get fish n chip for lunch and come back down for an afternoon swim. Thanks for putting the cache here! Geokids and I love rock hopping

30-Jan-21
Came to have another look at this one now the kids are a bit older. Removed trash and kids did some swaps.

20-Jan-21
Ok I really love what the Rail committee are doing with the grounds here. I’m a train fan, Gayndah local and ex-QR worker, so I appreciate all the info on the cache description. I know the code but for some reason can’t open the actual box!???!! So strange. I can’t log it, as I couldn’t sign. I’ll come another day and have another go. Cheers.

18-Jan-21
Still got my cache-mojo after all these years!! Went straight to it. I think it helped that we knew your style, having come directly from the China man. Thanks mountainman82, Bear_yowie and dahumbug, it’s very exciting that you’ve placed these caches in Gayndah, heaps of fun to show my geokids my favourite worldwide game . My brain still feels a bit fuzzy from doing a screen-based puzzle, my first one ever, and first ever jigsaw cache. Thanks again for brightening our lives, fav point from me.

Got the published email yesterday but couldn’t come for a look. Finally had the chance this arvo, and was a quick find. I think I stopped at this guy when we first moved here, but not since. There’s a nice breeze blowing while we sit to type this. Thanks for making us visit here again, Bear_Yowie and Mountainman82. Nice trad hide, and thanks for placing in my town, we’re a bit cache-poor around here

19-Sep-20
Such an awesome experience. Taking my youngest geokid on a sleepy drive, went past this spot, I said to him, this is a cache-worthy location, I’m going to check the map! And here it is, exactly where I predicted. Thanks for keeping the trad geocache spirit alive, Slow Puncture . Left a couple of small swaps for the next geokids.

15-Sep-20
Hurrah! A new cache and FTF right near where we live! We even introduced a muggle who is a neighbour of this bridge to geocaching. We got the notification email right before kindy pickup so could head straight out here, littlest GeoKid and muggle spied it first:)
Thanks to SmallWombat for highlighting the beauty of this bridge by placing a cache here.

15-May-20
Even though we’ve found this one previously, kids wanted to do some swaps so we headed out. Unfortunately we didn’t have success today. Could be due to long grass and huge spiders, because none of us could remember exactly where it was to know if it’s missing or just not our day. Sorry that’s not very helpful!

Kids were keen for geocache adventure yesterday but we had a dnf so came out this morning to attempt this one. Beautiful morning for a stroll along the river and a little cache hunt. Found all in good order. Kids did some swaps. Thanks for the adventure.

02-Feb-20
Found during the 7 a side cricket day. Will have to pop back over after a few overs to sign the log. Thanks for the cache! Geokids saying it’s the tiniest cache they’ve ever found

03-Jan-20
Found after stopping at one of our usual pee stops between home and brissy. Left our awesome TMNT tag Raph because it wants to be near water and there’s a nice pond here

18-Oct-19
Found on a trip to Brisbane. Actually very funny story, minor spoiler alert. We are at a specialist cricket shop to choose a new bat for MrB. Kids want a playground, so we go around the corner to a park. As we were getting out of the car, Geokid3, age 3, says 'maybe there's a geocache here?'. So I check the map and no, sadly there are none. While looking over my shoulder at the screen, Geokid1, age 8, says 'what are those question marks for?'. I answered about the mystery cache type, and randomly clicked on one to show her. Listened to the clue, she said (with the innocence of a human not long on this planet, not yet jaded and bitter like most of us) 'oh there's a bus stop out there on the road, let's check its ID code!' Wouldn't you know it, there's the cache. Absolutely amazing luck. Thanks for brightening our day and giving us all a reason to be hopeful and optimistic in life! Cache container not in exact spot, but will replace as per the audio file so others can find more easily.

10-Jul-19
Definitely a cache-worthy location! We are meeting folk halfway to brissy and got here early, perfect excuse for a cache hunt. Thanks for bringing us to the Rail station.

Wow what a great cache! We've been meaning to get this one for a while, but kept forgetting to download it before we left town. We've even stopped one time and had a blind hunt without any coords! Signed the log which feels damp but it could just be chilly. Geokids made some happy swaps. Thanks for the cache!

19-Mar-19
Found with Geokid#3, on a morning trip to Dubbs to go to the shoe shop. Great hide, thanks for making us stop to look at the pictures!

05-Nov-18
Quick TB drop before school. IN: John Grisham Racketeer traveller, swaps. Out: swaps.

26-Sep-18
On our way to catch up with an old school friend, had to make a detour to find a cache! MrBramley pleased to find the exhibition of local wildlife, what a lovely resource. We have taken the TB to continue it's journey. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot.

16-Sep-18
On our way home from having a bacon butty up the hill. Have only stopped here for a geokids wee before today... Thanks for the cache!

Up the hill for bacon sandwiches on this lovely spring morning. Three of us walked up while two got the BBQ going. Thanks for using an ammo tin, so old school
Geokids had heaps of fun swapping tat for tat. Thanks for the fun. Cache in good order.

06-Sep-18
Sorry I can't seem to edit my found log, we dropped the CITO trackable today. It's goal is to see the world, we brought it inland from the coast

We could feel the CITO travel tag we picked up on the Sunshine Coast early August was burning a hole in our pocket, so we made a last-minute decision to find this cache after school today. Considering it's so close to geokids school, it was our first visit to this cache! Thanks for the cache, geokids are getting good at this type

30-Aug-18
Been meaning to stop for this one for a while. On our way to Kingaroy to do some chores. Thanks for putting a cache here sweet-sour, it's a nice spot to stop for a wander.

17-Aug-18
A great spot to stop! We are usually passing here running late for school, so it was nice to relax and get the feel for this spot of bush. Thanks for the hunt.

Geokids had the instincts for this one! One says 'it was in a good place, this one'. Thanks for the cache, some cute swaps in here, we may be back
