This cache has deserved more than just one FP. We walked to GZ the night before and spotted the cache immediately. But how to open it? After several attempts we came back after breakfast this morning and read the previous logs again. We checked he description again and again and then the penny dropped. After finding out the hint we still did not know what that means but Mr Google was a big help here. With the correct information we tried again and after just three attempts the logbook was in our hands. Closing the cache correctly was more difficult.
Thank for this great cache. Last one in Melbourne before relocating back to Germany.

After our sightseeing tour through Melbourne CBD we thought we need a change and a proper walk so we decided to go back to the Woodlands Reserve to find a few more caches.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining all the caches. All caches were in good conditions and an easy find.

Beautiful day in Melbourne. GZ is blocked by some boxes but we took a photos from different spots.
Unfortunately, we have not seen this area at night time.

Out caching with a muggle friend who found this one here. Not so busy without all the tourists. TFTC
Looks like waves.
Very impressive, thanks for bringing us to this spot.

GPS jumped around a bit but we thought we found the right tree. But nothing there. We knew that we needed to look up to find something hanging down or whatever but gave up after 15 min.
Stopped here on our way to Melbourne's first but could not find the cache. Should not be too hard. Found a big whole in the big tree but no box. And we did not want to put our arms too much into the whole as there was a bit rubbish there as well.
Great view. We were on our way to Melbourne's first and stopped here (of course). No problems apart from some muggels!!!!

What a mission.
We booked a flight to Australia last year around Easter but COVID hit the world and our plans were cancelled. As we are relocating back to Europe we decided to have a stop in Melbourne to finish our unfinished business.
So here we are.
Once at GZ it was a nice and easy find. Thanks very much for the maintenance of this old cache. We hope that this cache will survive.
Great views from GZ as well (of course).

That took longer than expected as we searched not at the right spot. Once the searching area was expended, it was an easy find.
Thanks to the log entry of the previous finder we had a fair idea what we are looking for. And yes, there it was.
Thanks for another well done cache.

Great hide, well done. We travel with a muggle so could show him different types of hides and containers.

Went for a walk with a muggle to show our friend some very well made caches. This one was an easy find (of course) but opening took a while. Our friend eventually placed the Thing the right way on the cache and the box opened.
Thanks for this great cache, a FP for us.

What a mission!
We spent half an hour on Sunday at WP1 before giving up frustrated. So back home we CAF and asked for help and we got the final coords.
Today we started this adventure accompanied by (muggle) friends. As we are moving overseas this was the last chance to find this cache that was on our list for ages.
Back at WP1, this time with some help, we spent almost an hour looking for something. The GPS did not want to settle and eventually we gave up, knowing that the final coordinates were saved in the Garmin.
Further up the valley we stopped for a rest - as we did not expect that this walk takes so long we had nothing for lunch with us, just water.
Checking the hint for WP2 it was clear that we had the rest on top of WP2 and yes, it is still there.
After the resting stop the track becomes very undefined and often looks like a sheep track. WP3 was spot on and would have been an easy find if we had opened our eyes a bit more.
From now on the landscape changed immense with incredible long tussock grass and green spots in the middle of the dry country.
And then there was this oasis....the final cache location.
That was when it became tricky. The mesh fence is now overgrown by the grass and hard to lift. And flax is growing so quickly that we thought that the container was taken by the flax and disappeared forever.
And just when we wanted to give up we saw the lid of the container. The cache was hold firmly by the flax but was eventually pulled out.
We decided to go up further to meet the Summit Road and eventually the Farm Track. But suddenly, there was no track visible at all - just sheep tracks. So we followed those and decided to do a shortcut and walked cross country along several sheep tracks.
When we met the Farm Track it was an easy way back to the cars.
In total it took us almost five hours (4 hr 50 min) but we stopped many times and searched a long time at WP1 and the final.
Thank you very much for this great old cache. We hope it will survive a few more years.
