It's been great to be part of this community. 

Nearly 15 years ago we placed this Cache. Reading through the logs, we're happy we put it where we did.
The main aim was to give Fellow Geocachers a stop from the "Sometimes" long drives from where they were coming from and where they were going to.
We're glad that people stopped to take the time to find it. It's a fairly long road to be travelling and that little stop could make a difference to your trip as there isn't much else to see until Goomeri.
Thankyou for the comments that were left and the photos. We enjoyed reading them all.
So, the question is now, what do we get when the cache hits 10 years old? Is it really a million dollars? Or is someone pulling our leg?
I hope this cache is still being looked for, for many more years to come. Thankyou for the comments and taking the time out to find it.

Found it. We've been meaning to find it everytime we come out here. So, today, we did it.
It was a bit left out in the open so we put it back a little better covered up.

It's a bit low a goodies so when we go back out in the next couple of weeks, we'll put a few things in.

No problem finding this one. The bag that this cache is in needs replacing. Next time I drive pass I'll replace it.
Took Rubber ball, Left $1.00 in coins. 1X.50 2X.20 1X.10..
Might buy a pack of chewing gum if you;re lucky..

I couldn't find it either. I found a hole that I thought it ould be but not there.. I'll ty to find it again soon.

We Found It! We really enjoyed the drive to this part of the Island. It's somehwere where we wouldn't have thought to visit. A Dingo Visited us while we were having breakfast. The view to the bay was great..
This is the time to be on the Island. We didn't have to compete with all the biting insects that are on this Island in the Summer.

We took nothing and left a Dollar Coin.

Yep, we found it again. No worries.

We had some friends wirh us. Fellow GeoCaches now. The BornAgins.
It's getting a bit light on. We all signed the log book and went on our way.

We looked High & Low for this one, We couldn't find it..We had found it once before, so we new where it was. We were showing some friends what GeoCaching is all about so we had plenty of help..

Oh well, Have to keep track and see if someone else can find it..If it's still there?

 

My Daughter came up from Melbourne so we decided to show her Rainbow Beach..And how could we resist showing her what Geocaching was all about..

We had a fantastic time finding this one. We invited some friends along to show them as well. (They now own a Garmin GPS).

The views from this area are breathtaking to say the least and we found the cache just on sunset. That made it all the more fantastic..

Cache was in good nick. TNLN Just signed the log...

What a pretty little spot...The Chimney and Furnace are pretty impressive being that they've been there since 1857..

Anyway, Left some AA Batteries (Alkaline). Never know when you might need em..

It's funny though, I let a Compass at Mudlo and took this compass in exchange for the batteries..

Woo Hoo!! Another First Find..

Now, This was another excellent spot..But be careful, be very, very careful, when you use the Toilets..

I thought I'd go and investigate the toilets while I was here, (as you do), but as I open the Door, SURPRISE, a big snake stuck in the toilet, Half in half out. It looks as though I caught it in the middle of eating a huge green frog. It dropped the frog and took off up the wall toward me and I ran like hell to get outta there..Yep, I decided to end my investigation of the toilets and go find Mt Clara..

Anyway, Took the Canada $2.00 and left a Hand Compass..

I'm a hopeful.. We'd love to be there but, we'll have to see what happens with work commitments....

Last wime I said I'd be somewhere, Work came up and we couldn't go....

I bet the same thing happens again...Hope not though..

After we landed on Fraser Island for our week long holiday we decided this would be our first prject, to find this particular cache.
The drive there was rough as are all the tracks to anywhere on the Island...Be prepared to use lots of fuel no matter where you go...

11:30 We found it with no difficulty at all..The sandflies found us with no difficulty at all..

All up was a nice trip. we took the frisbee and left some Aussie Coins...$5.00 worth..
We went to Kingfisher Bay after this for a well earned coffee...

The Cache was in good condition but, some moisture had gotten in and some stuff was damp..We stayed for half an hour and let it dry before putting it back...

Although we haven't been real active in the GeoCaching department lately, We were thinking about tagging along..

I can't say that we will definately be there, But at this time it looks good. We have a spare seat if someone wants it. We live in Murgon and can pick someone up along the way...

Tracks? What Tracks..Found this one allright..I felt like "Jungle Jim".. Maybe I should of taken a Machete LOL.

Found it no problems. It was really great walking through the scrub..We enjoyed it.We were able to hear the goings on of Tarong quite well.

I have no Idea where Alby find these spots.. 

This was a little harder to find. I thought the Co-Ords were a little out but, My GPS was finding it a little hard to Lock on to Sattelites..So, I blame it.

Once again, nice spot. Left a multi knife and took headphones.

You know, The best thing about this "Sport, Hobbie" is finding all these excellent places that you would never know existed. We would never have known about this place if it wasn't for GeoCaching and the people who take the time to do this.

This one was a little harder to find but after finding it we had a good chuckle.

Well, I found this one.. The thing was my GPSr Wouldn't work. It had lost the signals from Sattelites.. Kept coming up with Poor GPS Coverage Anyway, After the shaking stopped (Withdrawl Symptoms) and the tears stopped running down my face, I found it.

I swapped the Gloves for a Wide Angle Mirror.

I also took Stre eetch. I'm going to Brisbane next week to find a few and I thought I'd drop him off.


 

I have to be the first to log my Visit on this one..
The cache is nice and dry and full of goodies. I've taken Focus with me to travel to brisbane.

It's an excellent walk through the area.

A Hint: There are all sorts of Tyres...

I was near this Cache today so I picked up Pumpy as I'm travelling To Brisbane next week and I thought he'd like the Trip..


 

I did this one Late at night and Early the next day..
Was quite Interesting. I can't work out the Code though..But I got the Co-Ords no worries.
The last part which I did today was very interesting. I had quite an excellent walk looking at the various bits & pieces of old Machinery. I think there's more history here than meets the eye. Especially in the Car industry side of things.

I did hide this in a very easy location sort of on purpose. I thought that if non-Geocachers found it, it may inspire them to join the Gang, So to speak..
I may rehide it in the next couple of day's 

We went looking for this cache but to no avail.. We ended up in a paddock in the middle of nowhere..
I have contacted Blackbeard and the Co-Ordinates are wrong..Once the correct Co-Ordinates are known I am sure he will correct these ones..

Very nice view from this spot. Had no trouble finding this one. Blackbeard had been here the day before us.

Swapped the Super Glue for a Deck of cards. We were going to try Raven Caven, But it was getting late.

Cache was in good condition. Thanks for another excellent location.

We were looking for a Milo Tin. But we found it. We now see that it was chaged from a Tin to a plastic container. We left a Deck of cards but didn't take anything.

Another excellent location. 

We decided to go on a Night search for some caches. We found this one after visiting the Cherry Plains Library.
We found this one easy enough @ 9:00pm.

Signed the log and left to go home.

We decided to go on a night search of this cache and Kiangarow. We went the long way to this cache.
It took a bit of finding in the dark but we found it. We Swapped our book, Signed the log and walked back to the car, The short way. We then went in search of Kiangarow.

It was very interesting to see things at night (8:00pm)that you might not see during the day. We did take some photo's but they didn't turn out that great.

This was another good location. A very nice walk through the Forest. Took some excellent photo's.
There were a lot of tourists along the walk.

Well, We got an early start to this one. We found it at about 9:00am. It was a very enjoyable walk to this spot. It was a good chance to put the new Meridian through it paces. It worked really well. In fact it was spot on..

Looks like we beat Albyalbatross by a couple of hours...

This one was a hard one to find and this was our Second visit to this sight. We couldn't find it the First time. We looked for over an hour.
We only found it today by chance. All the grass and plants are overgrown due to the recent rains.

I'm not sure if the GPS was out. But the Co-Ordinates were out by a few meters.

This was a nice view. Unfortunately, The contnets of this cache was wet. We tried to dry out most of the contents. We took the gloves as they were soaked. All in all was a very good place. Easy one to find. 

Is this the best Cache Location in the World??
I'm not sure but it would have to come close. It's the most excellent view. We really enjoyed the walk. The cache was really easy to find and it's in good condition.

Another good find. Almost didn't see it. Nice walk thru the forest.
Did any of you others who found it get harassed by a Scrub Turkey? We did. It came right up to us looking for food. I had a sandwich with me and offered it some. It nearly took my finger off. It was really nice to interact with the WildLife.

Anyone looking for this cache btter forget about it while the War With Iraq is on. The area has been closed off for now due to suspected Terrorist Targets. As we approached the turnoff to the area, We were stopped by a security guard. It's a bit hard to explain what we were doing, when the person you are explaining it to is a little short on intelligence.
Anyhow, It was a good drive.

I hope to find this one after the War. Hopefully it won't have been Blown Up by Terrorists. 

Found It!! Excellent spot for a cache. We went looking for it at night. Was a good one to find..

Cache was intact and well hidden.

This one was a good one to find. I found it my lunch hour. It was raining, so I got a little soaked and muddy. It makes sense not to shake a tree while crawling under it after a good downpour. Anyway, Signed the log.

Excellent view. 

Hints were of no use to this one. Are they wrong? We have an In Car SatNav (VDO DAYTON). This arrangement is not easy to use for GeoCaching, Anyway, Got ourselves a Hand Held Magellan and now we have found it....

We signed the Log and left a Penguin...
