Replaced the Log Book at 1400hrs today.

It was a great Safari and a very enjoyable weekend.

Found during lunch break. All good. 

Found OK after waiting for muggles to leave. Good one. 

Found ok. All good . Steep climb back to car.

Found during Safarie event. Coords 25 m out. Needs correcting. 

Log replaced. All good.
Plenty of birds, many chicks now half grown. 

Didn't find it.
Had a quick look but no time or torch to check for cache creep. 

A fire went through the area but all is good

Found after discussing with local lady. All good and dry. 

The Cache appears to have been Muggled.
I could not find any trace of the container or contents anywhere near the GZ, therefore I will not be replacing the Cache.
If anyone close to the site wishes to adopt the Cache, please do.

Looked with Ms Maddy but no luck. The Muggle eating lunch didn't help either.
Came back after he left and still nothing.

Currently the Park is undergoing an upgrade and has been fenced off.
We will just have to wait a while. 

Just checked and her Ghost is still resting there.

This arvo I went looking for any information on the Army Unit, The 2/110th Australian General Transport Company, that my father served in during WW2.

The first web site that I tried took me to a Geocaching page and I thought my fat fingers had done it again. Low and behold it was "OSH#2 2/110th Australian General Transport" by Alicecaching and the Cache Description gave me all the ifo that I needed. Thanks Alicecaching

All good. Looks like kids are using this area as a "club house". 

Six cachers have not been able to find it.
In the past it was an easy find. 

Hunted high and low, down into hole and under things.
No Luck.
Needs maintenance or archiving. 

Replaced full log and all is well.
Spiders have moved away a bit and the birds smell. 

Thanks for organising the event Gaz'n'Kab. The afternoon rain didn't help, but it was still good catching up with others.

Signed the log and returned it to a deeper nest.
Cache in good condition.

Found it after a short search and left a tea spoon. All well.
It is more than six years since we first visited the Chimney.
It is hard to believe that when they ended the smelting, all the hills around here had been denuded of all timber to fire the smelter. That is why they all the trees appear to be the same age. 

Need to correct the coordinates. 

Coordinates changed from:
S 27° 37.927 E 152° 45.981

Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 37.918 E 152° 45.960

Distance from original: 125.7 feet or 38.3 meters.
Moved to a safer position. 

After nearly breaking a fetlock getting over the creek, I found the cache OK.

When we left here it was bright and sunny and when we arrived at Christmas Creek it was cold, misty and windy. We met some of the others who were still in camp but missed those who climbed the nearby mountain. Went out with Hot Wheels Duo and did several caches up in the misty mountains. Pity it was so cloudy and misty because it would be very photographic up there.
Sorry we didn't stay but we are still getting over the flue.

A muggle couple came along so had a yarn with them about old graves and found the cache after they left.
