Bossy Boots & Captain Compass revisited tsunami spotting on Sunday 5th October. We took our Granddaughters Sophie & Heidi for their very first cache find. They were very excited and enjoyed finding it without much help from us.

Found the cache after an early morning walk. Left a geo coin (kcgreyhounds Geocaching University Geocoin) which we brough back from North Queensland so it can continue on its journey. Took nothing
We walked to the cache early in the morning. It is certainly a great spot. Even though we live in the area we hadn't been up there before. Left a Coin brought back from North Queenland (Midlife Crisis) so it can continue on its journey.

A bit of a walk but well worth it when we got to the top. Captain Compass was ready with the camera for the photo shoot. We were also accompained by HDSpringer and the Relunctant Companion. Took the Geo coin and left a US coin and a polished stone. Thanks again burdair for the cache.
Easy find as the cache was clearly visible from the ground, however it was difficult to retrive. We were lucky to have super fit Captain Compass with us and the Reluctant Companion to give advice. We have now made sure it is not visible. TN LN and TF TC
What a great spot. We have been to the interpretive centre before but never ventured any further so enjoyed going on the walk. Took nothing left nothing Thnaks for the cache.

Our second find on Magnetic Island don't know whether we were getting tired or it was a harder walk but it was still worth the effort especially as I didn't need any help from HDSpringer or Captain Compass well maybe just a little. The Reluctant Companion conventially forgot to lock the car and had to go back.
