Found it I. The end. Under a different tree. Think my phone gps isnt precise enough. 

Looked for about 5 min. Maybe its overgrown with grass

Cache was in the open, hard to see amongst fallen leaves, we presume it Had been dislodged and rolled down hill a bit. We Put it back in a location a few meters up hill from where it lay, in a location that matched the description, clue and GPS as close best we could. May not necessarily be in the exact location it was originally hidden in.
