Logs for CrazyCatsGoCaching
23-Apr-24
We love this spot and found it because we came to find the geocache a few years back. Since then we always come back to this beautiful rock platform and beach. Thought we would check in on the Geocache and it was in it's usual happy place. TFTC.

Thanks for some stop-offs on the trip between BH and Wilcannia. Kept the geokids amused. All good with the cache.
That is one very excellent sculpture. Love it. Thanks for drawing me closer to this one.
Thanks for this quick grab on the way through. Kept kids motivated on our roadtrip. TFTC.

A picnic lunch stop in the gardens and look some wonderful person out a geocache here. TFTC.
Going to log this as found but the main part has gone. The attachment part of the micro is still there but the container part and the logbook are not. Had a look round to see if it was somewhere near but couldn't see it. Sorry. Needs replacing or a good search!

Quick easy find. Very hot today so happy the beach is just next door. Love the hint. The note book was very wet. May need a reseal.

Can’t say we looked that hard as lots of muggles around. Did sit down and reach behind in a few places but didn’t find the prize. Maybe next time.

What an absolutely perfect spot for a cache and how big was that cave nearby! Stick was helpful to ward off the dangly webby bits and there it was. TFTC
26-Sep-21
The second of this park's caches and no dragons for us today! On the way to the coordinates, one of the geokids saw a spot that had to be GZ and it was! Bit off from where the phone coordinates were taking us, so a lucky spot. Thanks for introducing us to a great little hideaway park.
Time for a Covid picnic with the family and a couple of geocaches on the way. Thoroughly enjoyed this little park. A piece of treasure in amongst the roads and houses. Hunting around took a small while and then cache in hand we did the necessary and went off hunting for its cache friend further into the park. TFTC.
Found two quick caches already so thought we would give this one a go, knowing that as a micro it would be hard to find. Found the area but not the cache. Another time we hope...

Found Fast because it was really easy to find. We had our first COVID safe picnic with the Grandparents. Geo Kids went looking this time and found it in no time.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Made the journey to GZ with the family. What a fab view from there! Was a wet day so didn't fancy too much rock ledge climbing. Had a look around there and found some great hiding places but not the one we needed. We will be back!

So, a year on from beginning our quest for The Oracle we returned to complete it. We decided it was a good day to face the scratchy scratchy challenge of the bush which stopped us previously.
Again we sought the wisdom of the bush guardian Hikari Orifisu whose hiding place was now known. From there we were sent on our way. The geokids wore their long pant armour and through the scrub we went, following semi-tracks and walking fallen tree logs until our rocky goal appeared to us. A hunt for the elusive Dokuro proved successful and onto the final leg we went.
Wisdom was sought and for us the answer was no. However we accepted the Oracles’ treasure and left feeling satisfied.
Thank you for taking our family on a great adventure to another of Berowra’s beautiful places.

Third go and with a little extra hint from those in the know and we found it. Far too low last time and were distracted by the Banksia tree with a real lean to it. Felt like the clue should be more about the zigzag nature of the Banksia but there you go. We got there and are suitably excited. Made this the end point of a walk that started on Lyrebird and finished up on Currarong. Thanks for the challenge on this one. Do like it when they are not especially easy...adds to the sense of achievement. TFTC and the adventure.

Second try. Second DNF. Sad days. Gave it a good 40 minutes too. Searched high low - lots of levels. Found a tree that matched the clue but not enough to find it. Found some great hiding places but not the right one. Maybe another time with another hint perhaps...

What a beautiful part of the world. I love it when the hunt for a geocache takes us somewhere special. Now my fave beach in the area. A great big thank you.

The mozzies were rife but found this we did. Once the local wildlife revealed itself. TFTC
Second go and our final cache hint for the day. No luck finding it today and the mozzies won that one. Maybe next time.
A little scurry around and there it was. Four for us. None for the mozzies. Woohoo. TFTC

Looking for a while when Geo Mum came over and found it straight away. This was a cool find. TFTC️
Nice easy find on the journey round. Thanks for adding some cache inspiration to the walk.

Last year we didn’t find the hidden cache so this year we came back. Quick easy pick up find. TFTC??????????????????????????

Travelling Bathurst to Sydney. This cache sounded like a good stop to make. Found a friendly frog before we found the cache. TFTC

Great little spot. Like that it was halfway on the walk to Hotel at the end of the firetrail. Unfortunately the hotel was closed today so we had to walk back again. TFTC.
What a fabulous spot to hide a cache. Took down the spidery strands and in I went...
It was great to be able to read about the history of the Hotel while we were there. Great set up.
Not sure how appropriate it was to leave a PIMMS bottletop in the collection on the theme of pub with no beer but did so all the same.
Thanks Loads for the cache.

No luck with this one. Had a good look around - lots of hiding places but wasn't meant to be. Maybe next time.

Being English it was great to hand with our beloved Queen again. Thanks for the inspiration.
The smell wasn't great and could do with some glue before it splits. Great hide, TFTC.
Spiraled around the paths before finding GZ. Great to share this one with the Bush Bashers. TFTC.
Our last for the day. Tired geokids. Be back soon to finish off the series. Thanks for the fun theme.
