Logs for Freeewilly
11-Dec-12
Tried to find it yesterday around midnight because less muggles but wasn't able to. Has it been removed? I thought it was deactivated only because the log is full, but it seems to be gone. Tried to replace log but to no avail. Well, at least the view was fantastic even at night!

Found it without description nor hints, just by the coordinates! This was our 14th find on our tour through N.Z. and most probably our last, as we will be leaving tomorrow
In: Ulysse Nardin Keychain
Out: Web Head TB (will try to bring him to the other side of the world: Switzerland)
Thanks for the nice location

Had only the coordinates to go with and they pointed exactly to the bench... Didn't have the clue, so no find
But nice view anyway

Found it without description, hints and coordinates, just by knowing that there is a cache nearby. Phew, lucky!
Our 13th find on our tour thru N.Z.!

Deniesel found this beautiful cache without having read the description nor the secret hint, just by the pure coordinates! It wasn't easy, but somehow, she sniffed it out. Thanks for the great location, this was our 12th find on our tour thru NZ. In: Debian TB, Out: NZ Keychain

Only had the coordinates to go with and because some Police was around, I couldn't spend too much time on this one. The hint would certainly have helped...
Only had the coordinate to go with, no description nor hint. Sorry, couldn't find it

Was able to find it anyways! Our 11th find on our tour through N.Z. and our first find on North Island.
Thanks!

Didn't have anything else than the coordinates to go on, so I couldn't find it...
The coordinates guided me just next of the highway and I figured that wouldn't be agood spot for a cahe, so I gave up after a while.
Thanks anyway,
Freeewilly & Deniesel

Only had the coordinates to play with, no descriptions or hints. So it was impossible to find as the given coordinates actually do not point to the cache itself
03-Apr-05
I only had the coordinates to go on and no description or anything else. The secret hint would certainly have helped... Anyway, I couldn't find it. The coordinates actually pointed me to a small ravine formed by a waterfall. It was very slippery there and I thought it couldn't be a good location for a cache, as it would be flushed away with the next rainfalls. I had a nice climb over the rocks anyway...
Thanks, Freeewilly & Deniesel

Our 10th find on our tour through NZ!
We didn't have any descriptions, just the raw coordinates. But the location was quite obvious to spot. After a bit of rummaging we were able to locate it. Someone pooped nearby, so we had to watch our steps (Ourgh!).
In/Out: Nothing
Thanks for the cache.

Only with coordinates and no description nor secret hint, this was a hard one! But we finally found it! It is our 9th find on our tour through New Zealand. In/Out: nothing.
Thanks for showing us this idyllic and magic spot!

We only had the coordinates to go with. We walked after sunset the beautiful forest walk, but when we came to the river, our GPS pointed that the cache is on the other side of the river. We had to give up as it would have taken too long to find a bridge...
30-Mar-05
Found the bridge. The cables were to grease to climb or even stand on! Do I need to post a pic to score this one? If so, it has to wait until I have access to my own PC at home...

Our 5th find on our tour through N.Z.
Found it without any descriptions, just the coordinates, Phew! Due to rainy weather, the rocks around location were very slippery and I actually slipped and fell. Once back at the carpark, I relaized that I have lost my camera during the fall. So we had to hike back, but luckily we found the camera on the same spot. Must have been our lucky day!

Out: Tigger and Debian TB's (will bring them to Northern Island)

Just walked over from Baldwyn Street but didn't have the time to solve the puzzle. Quarry was still quite a nice place to visit and we would have surely missed it, if it weren't for the Cache.
Thanks!

Our third find on our tour through N.Z.
This one was difficult, as we didn't have any descriptions with us, just the coordinates. And our GPS showed only the general area. However, Deniesel was lucky and almost stepped on it! Just pure luck!

Akaroa Head Lighthouse, South Island, New Zealand
Light first exhibited in 1880. The light is 270ft above sea level and the tower is 28ft in height. The white light flashes once every 10 seconds and can be seen for 23 miles in clear weather. The power source is from mains electricity with one diesel generator on standby for emergency power. This lighthouse was moved from the Akaroa Head to this site on October 4th, 1980 by the Akaroa Lighthouse preservation society.

I found the cache a year ago. On this visit, I wanted to give it a re-visit to check how it is doing... But... The red rope as well as the cache seems to be gone! Sorry to say, I think this one has to be archived (

Foral da Guia or Lighthouse at Guia Fort in Macau, China.
This is the first lighthouse to have been built in the whole Far East (built in 1865)! It still lights up the night sky of Macau today. Being the highest point of Macau, you can see from here well into China and the east side of the Macau Peninsula. Next to it is the Chapel of Our Lady of Guia (Capela de Nossa Senhora da Guia).

The description are good and the cache is easy to find. The trail is called HK trail (not Peak trail) and you have to start it counterclockwise, otherwise the descriptions will not match. Interesting location with the old villa. Took the travel bug, left 2 canadian soapy internet cards with still some balance left and a key-chain nail clipper.
Btw. The red rope is still there, makes it easy to spot the cache!
Thanks! Marc from Switzerland
