Nice walk down easy grade track. Quick find. Couldn't work out the hint but didn't need it in the end. tftc!

Took some courage. A tree down along the path required a snakey detour, then a scramble at gz and I reckon it could even be a terrain 3. Gold bowl hint from previous comment was very helpful. tftc!

tftc. But wow, pongo. Tipped out the sea shells which probably weren't empty. Wish I had brought along the geo-soap.

TFTC. Thanks for the CO pics.

What can we say?

Phew, like many before had the fear. Fear warranted. See pic. tftc. Left trackable.

Friendly guardian.

Found ages ago (after literally years of waiting for the right moment! ), just noticed we had not logged it. Log!

23-Jan-22
Thanks for bringing us to this part of the world on our Bris- Syd drive. Great cafes and great vibes in Sawtell. Found cache immediately upon arrival at GZ. Had fun working out the coords. Geo tool required to open cache. Bring pen and screwdriver.

22-Jan-22
Visited GZ twice to search. First search in daylight, the gps was unwavering, we knew what to search for and tried all possibilities. Second search late on same evening, bad weather equalled zero muggles. This allowed a shameless, thorough, wide search of all dimensional surface areas, including the use of fishing pliers after our rain drenched, gale-force angling session (a few whiting and flatties!). Also analysed the surface area of all prior 'find' photos. No luck!! Oh no, we are so disappointed. Love this cache type; its a fav. geo-genre. After a geo-debrief we came to terms with three possibilities: 1. it was there and we simply missed it; 2. it was there and we touched it but it was unyielding due to rust or gunk-up which has freezed it in-situ; 3. it was not there. Will try the next time we're in town.
p.s. Turtle viewing from the jetty if you're lucky.

Yep, that's micro. It's where you think it is, no need to widen search. Geokids would need a parent or piggyback to retrieve. Soaked.

Found the cache quickly once we got the right structure tftc!

Had to read comments to get this one. Started at gateposts, walked uphill, found suitable object as mentioned in hint, nothing. Kept walking. Oh, found cache, visible in hiding spot from the path if you know what to look for, then around loop back to the loos without retracing steps.THEN REALISED WE'D BEEN HAMMERED BY THE WORLDS BIGGEST LEECHES at GZ. I'd recommend delaying this one until it's a little dryer.

Wow, deep. tftc

21-Jan-22
Well, there is a tree at the pin. Searched around, widened area, no luck. Area has recently been heavily slashed. Given the snake warning at nearby play area, it felt unsafe to venture into tall grass. It could be anywhere in there!

Second attempt. Easier since gardner has attended the area. tftc.

Random overcast Sunday afternoon at the wonderful West Head. Standing in gun room being serenaded by a lyrebird, watching the waves, feeling pretty peaceful. Terrific location and we'd never have visited the bunker without a geocache to draw us here- thankyou for the creative cache and spot! Our first find for some time, and our first ghost cache. Now for the climb out! Thanks again for such a great cache adventure!
