Logs for Moonless
27-Sep-13
Even after searching every little nook and cranny I didn't find it, getting hot so I tossed it in.

My wife found it without realizing it, took my daughter to show her where it was, great spot.
14-Jul-12
2nd one for the day, really glad we went looking for these, this area is a hidden treasure.
We found it on the ground, pretty sure it was meant to be higher, so replaced it in the right spot.
After some heavey rain the previous night it made the going tough, especially when we realised that we come the long way round, again the Xtrail proved itself in getting us to this great cache.
It absolutely poured down with rain the previous night, mud everywhere and some deepish crossings, but that didn't stop the Xtrail from getting us to where we had to go.
13-Jul-11
Well we found it pretty easily, wind blowing a gale, if only someone had brought a pen.
Well we found it pretty easily, it was still active then.

Some great views, but we were in danger of being blown over the edge, absolutely howling southerly when we were there.
18-Apr-10
We found it after some hunting our GPS which is usually pretty accurate said it was 12m the other way.

We did this one on Australia Day, and it was great, best one to date. We decided to go by 4wd, and you''ll need a 4wd for this one and make sure it's dry, we entered a track off George Booth drive just west of Mt Sugarloaf road, after a few wrong turns we got to 120m and decided to walk. I sent the kids in with torches and they found it after a short hunt.
01-Nov-09
We rode our bikes from South Turra to find this one, the ride back was a real killer due to the hills.
We rode our bikes, but not being familar with the area it took us about 3 goes to before we found a way in.
17-Oct-09
Well we couldn't find it, our GPS said it was about 1m in the water, plus the area was burnt out from a bush fire, rather disapointing.
This was a nice easy find, it was our first stop on a bike ride afternoon, we rode around Stockton out onto the breakwall, sighted a ship wreck and saw heaps of kites being flown, then off to find more caches.
We found this won easily enough, although it needs some TLC as it's rather soggy, so we were unable to sign the log.
Third for the Day, and getting quite worn out as we had covered alot of ground riding our bikes around Stockton.
This was a great find, fantastic walk through the forest, as we got close our GPS sent us down the side of the hill, then got itself sorted out and back up we went where we found it without to much difficulty.
Nice stop for a rest whilst we rode around Stockton, take care the magnet holding this in plac has come off, so we just wedged it back into place.
