The SES were conducting training on the pondage this night. What a surprise to have an caching event here at the same time.
We did not sign the log but we were there. Trust me.

While on our way back from Maffra where we completed the arduous pack walk for SES we decided we needed to get out and stretch our legs once again before they got too stiff. Upon approach I spied a likely spot and located the cache then walked away from it announcing "I know where it is" my friends said where? I said you find it. Good searching practice for the SES members on a forensic search. After a few minuets one of them said I know where it is then the third person took a little time before he said I can see it!. This is what I do with the kids to make the search harder. I am sure they were going to beat me up at one stage but all is well.
Geocaching helps the SES put the use of GPS and map skills in to practice. Thanks for helping with that.
Anyway we signed the log and returned it to its nesting place for the next person to find.
