A stunning winter morning in beautiful Wellington. This was one last stop on our way to the airport and home to Australia. Thanks for showing us this amazing lookout

10-Aug-18
A quick find on our trip between Hastings and Wellington. Very breezy up here today.
Quick find. Log is wet but water proof paper is working well
TFTC

We stopped off here on our weeks trip between Auckland and Wellington while visiting from Australia. A stunning spot in a country with so many of them. The colour of the water is absolutely beautiful.

We had a 3 day wait to visit due to weather but so worth it. Flying in by helicopter was an amazing experience.
Highlight of our trip!

08-Aug-18
We were heading towards the Falls and took a detour up to the lookout and to grab a cache. No one around on a wet morning so quick find. Had no idea about this type of power plant so a really interesting spot. Thanks for bringing us here

It was an overcast day so only planned to make the first stage, clouds lifted as we arrived so went on to the end. Glad we did. Interesting site and beautiful views.
Main cache lid is cracked but log safe in its own container.

An overcast damp day but this is still a beautiful spot. We don’t cache often nowadays but always check in new areas as cachers know the best lookouts. Point proven again!! Thanks so much for bringing us to this great vantage point.
No one else around so a quick find. All safe and sound. TFTC

07-Aug-18
Quick find on early morning walk around the gardens. No one else in sight. TFTC

06-Aug-18
Our first cache in a very long time. Travelling to Rotorua so stopped for our first NZ find. So good not to be constantly on the lookout for snakes and spiders while caching!

16-Jul-17
New cache in place ready to go

09-Jul-17
Sorry for delay, don't cache often anymore and email address was out of date.
We will check on this next weekend and put a new cache in place. Will be back up asap.

04-Jan-17
Finally!! We walk the dogs here all the time. Have found the cache previously but didn't have a pen and then every time since muggles have been here enjoying this lovely peaceful spot. A well organised early morning walk got the log signed for us this time.
The log is full but squeezed our name on the end.

05-Aug-16
New log book dropped off today, all ready to go

17-Feb-16
The only cache we had a chance to find on out brief visit to Uluru. Amazing place
Cache needs maintenance. No lid and currently in a bag too small to close.
TFTC

Lots of footprints but no cache. Did see a sand goanna do that made the walk worthwhile

09-Dec-15
Mrs. N was lucky enough to have a half day cruise out to this beautiful island as part of a works team building day.
A lovely trip over via Aria cruises. As everyone else relaxed I took a couple of muggle colleagues for a walk up the beach to join the hunt and tell them about caching. Cache was found easily with spot on co-ords. Some of the biggest mozzies I've ever seen! Good condition and all ok.
Thanks for placing a cache in this amazing off the beaten track location Smile

26-Sep-15
Our first cache in way too long! Thought we should squeeze one in while visiting this beautiful spot.
Love the container. Log is full, just squeezed our name in the end.

An easy find after a walk along the beautiful beach. We've been to Hervey Bay a few times but never been out to this part. We love it! Thank you so much for bringing us here.

I half of nicoline arrived in the pacific dawn. Not much time in Noumea so a quick find after a ride in the Tchou Tchou train.
Thanks for giving a cruising cacher a quick find!

23-Feb-14
Stopped by to drop off a TB on the way to DFO. Very quiet down here on a Sunday morning, just us and the ducks Smile
No other TB in cache.

30-Dec-13
Our 300th find. At the amazingly slow rate of 3 years! Quality, not quantity LOL.
Thanks for bringing us here, to our 2nd letterbox. Really lovely to see Mt French from a different angle after going up to the lookout earlier.
Took calendar TB

Decided we should head out of the safety of air con for at least one day over the holiday season. Neither of us had been here so packed a picnic and headed out.
All the muggles seemed to be staying out of the heat today so had the place to ourselves to enjoy the views. Absolutely beautiful Smile
Quick find on the cache. Dropped a TB and headed off.
TFTC and showing us this lovely lookout

So many piles of rocks behind so many trees!
Quick find once the GPS settled. Cache safe and sound but no travel bug inside.
Thanks for getting us out the house over the holiday season Smile

Well we found a cache but can't say if it was the old or new. Cache contained a piece of paper too wet to sign but nothing else.
TFTC and the rest stop on the highway

23-Nov-13
Back up and ready to go. TB dropped in to continue its journey

16-Nov-13
This is definitely missing. No container with us today. We will replace next week

28-Sep-13
What a beautiful lake, first time visit as we usually head straight up to noosa. We were staying at near by Lake Weyba cottages so canoed across, apparently 2.6km but we seemed to do a lot more with dodgy steering!
There was a mauugle family packing ud their paddle boards when we arrived so waited for them to clear out before making the find.
Log signed and cache rehidden. Dropped off TB

27-Sep-13
Staying in beautiful Noosa for the weekend and finally finding some caching time. As usual we seem to have bought the bad weather with us !
Mr N made a quick find on this one while Mrs N kept watch. Car park got very busy and a wedding party turned up for photos so took a while to put back.

14-Aug-13
Number 3 today. Cache was out in open so easy find. Re-hid and on our way to the next

It took to this one to get the name! D'oh!! Great containers, not sure how the authorities would feel about them LOL

We went round in circles for about 15 minutes with no luck.
This one is defiantly harder than the rest of the series and is not just off the path, light bush bashing required.

Nice and easy after the last one. Quick find and back on the way

A nice easy one to finish the day. Thanks for the trail TMRabbit

Not what we were expecting to find out here so the hiding spot was obvious.
Looks like we're starting at 6 and working baCK

Love this one!
Geodog gave us a fright on the way over when he started squealing and yelping and carrying on, then rolled on his back and stopped moving. Panic! Snake?lizard? Broken leg? No.... Lead caught around his foot. Note to self - Don't take the over dramatic dog off the path.
After that little incident, hearts pounding still and the GPS
taking us all over we were about to give but at the last minute something suspicious was seen and cache was ours.
Loved this and so glad we hung around for it
Now, to get back to the path

18-May-13
We took the geodogs for their Sunday morning socialise at the nearby dog park and then headed over to look for this.
I waited with the dogs while Mr N headed into the bushes. After fighting his way through branches the cache was found quickly.
We visited our new TB's to start of their journey too but there are definitly no other TB's in the cache.

We made a quick stop here on the way back from the shops hoping to grab the TB that wants to go Europe as we're heading there in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately Hunting Rabbits had beaten us to it this morning and taken born TB.
The white horse is looking a little worse for wear but still very pretty!

A long overdue caching trip for us. We waited for a muggle and his dog to leave before heading down to the very murky creek and making a quick find. Took dragon tb, left icecream truck tb

We had lunch near by a couple of days ago and noticed the TB in this cache wanted to go to Europe. We're heading there in a couple of weeks so thought we'd come grab him for the trip.
Parked at the falls and had a slippery walk to the lookout. We managed to get stuck behind a group with 8 shouting screaming tree swinging children so the walk wasn't as pleasant as it shoild have been.
At the look out we had a quick look at the views, grabbed the info needed and headed back in the hope that the noisy kids would be there a while. Much slower and exhausting walk back!
Headed off to the next co-ords to make the find. After going around in circles a few time we were suddenly in just the right spot and cache was quickly in hand. And then the horror - no TB in the cache. Hopefully someone picked it up and hasn't logged it yet and it hasn't dissapeared.
Thanks for the walk and the views

Number 3 for us in here today. Kangaroos seen on the way to this one but koalas are remaining elusive.
Great container, Mr N has been given a task to make one for us.

Our last find in here today. The rain started to fall while we were looking so good call on only doing half the trail today.
Blinky was the closest we got to a koala sighting today.
Looking forward to coming back and doing the rest of the trail. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful area

2nd one on the trail for us today.
Loved the cache container but hopefully this isn't the only wildlife we see today!

This one made Mr N jump when he found it, the momentry flash of panic when something moved and he thought he was about to be attacked! Always makes me smile so this one gets a favourite point!!

Its been far too long since we've had a chance to head out caching, so with a few hours free on Easter Sunday we headed out to some of the HNT.
No one was around the car park so a quick easy find. From the log book It looks like the Lat-Longs had beaten us here today.

This one has been on the to do list since we moved across the road a few months ago but it's always so busy. Overcast Easter Sunday was the perfect opportunity. With no one around we made a quick find after looking in a few spots. Easy to see how this cache can wander.
All safe and sound but no TB in cache.
