Well it was a feast for us today.

The blackberries are just ripening and ole P38 found enough ripe ones to stuff his face with a handful or two.

Cache keeps disappearing I think it may be too well known now.

I used to bring my rubbish here back in the day and as kids we would search for goodies to take home too.

Was a good place to search for spare car parts to keep our vehicles on the road.
The stub axels on my Car Trailer came from here in the late 70s

I have replaced this cache again tonight.

Please be very discrete with the retrieve and replace as there could be lots of eyes on you.
I will rethink this cache and look for a safer hiding spot

Found easily enough once we had found the easiest entrance to this area that is.
Took a tour around the block a couple of times before deciding on the best access point.

Took two cracks to get this cache but we got there in the end.

Nice views up the river and plenty of ducks and fish too.

I know the bloke who rode the bridge in what was IMO a well planned and well executed stunt ride.

It's a shame he had to loose his job as a result. :0(

I always enjoy the stroll through this patch of bush.

No Bats were encounted but then it is the middle of a sunny afternoon.

Took one look at my GPS and knew straight away where the shortest possible route was located.

Did a drive by earlier in the day but decided not to stop as the Park was full of Picniers, People playing cricket and Kids running everwhere.
Just goes to show what an awesome spot this is.

Returned this evening when it was a little quieter and completed the retrieve without observation.

Found it after much looking.

We were sprung by a local when replacing the cache.

They watched intently while the cache was corrently replaced then gave several loud Hee Haws in approval.

I took a walk down there tonight to check on this cache and at 8pm on 15/01/12 it was still there tucked away waiting for the next Cacher to find.

Well we went back again today and using Taybees Coordinates we were able to find the cache easy enough.

I agree with Taybee's observation that the cache coordinates are about 18m out which puts you considerably up hill from the cache site.

Took an early morning walk to the falls and picked up this cache along the way.

Lots of families arriving with small children as we were leaving.

The Te Ana falls pool was getting a lot of close attention too as the day was quickly warming up.

DNF this cache today.

Two of us searched independantly for over an hour, but had to conceed defeat and came away empty handed. :0(

Then just prior to logging this I read Taybee's comments which as it turned out is exactly what happened to us.
We were also looking about 18m up the hill, where as it turns out is an unblieveable amount of trees with good hiding places for a cache that fit the description given in the hint.

We'll have another go using Taybee's coordinates and see how we get on second time around.

Seems this was my old playground too back in the 70's.

Caught many an eel and rat under this very bridge and like you we were also hosed off before we were even allowed anywhere near the house.

This creek was lined with very big poplar trees when we first moved into the neighbourhood and many a hut was built in them.

Was good friends with the people that lived in the house next to this cache.
