After wandering around trying to figure out where it could be hidden did a brief rummage and found it easily.
Easy find today as didn't have pen last time. Love the walk around the lake.

Cool breeze helped the stair climb up. Geohubby decided to bring 2bags gravel too. Lovely lookout TFTC
Legs a bit shaky after climb and descent from upper lookout. Good spot to sit and marvel at the huge kauri tree. TFTC

Came over to dy for a new years swim. Grabbed a couple caches while over here. Lovely spot to sit and watch the ocean. TFTC

Brought my sister along for a hunt - suggested she look in the right place, but even though she got so close she was super hot, she couldn't find it. Luckily my experience helped me see the right spot.

Found it fairly easily after figuring out which spot it was in... but let the young cousin have the honours of announcing "I've found it!" TFTC
My sis and hubby had given up when I casually strolled to the right spot and said... is this what you're looking for? Always fun to easily find a cache when others can't

Very sneaky, don't know how many times I'd looked at it without seeing it. Lovely spot to bring back memories of the last time I was in the area at the Meroo church at my uncle's wedding.
Amazing what joining geocaching can do... have been here to visit grandparents so many times and never knew this was hidden just down the road from their house. Great start for showing the parentals what it's all about. TFTC

Brought the bikes out for a ride and a competitive hunt for caches with friends.
Getting tired by this stage, but finding a cache always makes it worthwhile.

Found this one when went driving north of Rocky to visit the old house. Walked up to the entrance to the caves, but the tough spider webs were blocking the way so returned to the pub for a cold one instead.
Managed to find this one in between the torrential rain and lightning. Hid out in an overhang next to the waterfall to open it and add our names to the log. Felt like ducks but had fun searching for it. TFTC

Bit of a wet day so not many people on the island. but a pretty walk around the coast and a fairly intuitive find once we got close.
We were looking well after closing time so didn't seem to suspicious. Easy find after reading previous logs.

Had a round of disc golf then thought we'd look for a few caches once we were done. Had a bit of a scramble over and around the bunker til we found the right spot. TFTC.
Had been past here a number of times on our way to the disc golf course, but never stopped in. Nice bit of birdwatching completed and TFTC.

End of our night stroll and might have looked a bit suss to passing motorists but handy find. Needed the clues from past finds to help out. TFTC
Was going for a sunset geocaching adventure but turned much darker than planned. Bit of a scare from neighbouring dog but TFTC
Nice evening for geocaching. Bowls club was a happening place tonight! TFTC

nearing the end of our biking adventure, one last upwards push to get to the GZ. Heaps of lizards around and enough sun out to get an awesome tan. TFTC.
bit of an adventurous partner went looking down right on the water line. Good thing sensible me read the description and found the cache! perfect end to a mountain biking afternoon. TFTC
