OCW Sensible Sis and Meritonnn today. We had previously DNFed here, so Dan brought reinforcements and they found the cache for him. So now he was happy. TFTC Nana Nel
Dan was OCW Meritonnn and Sensible Sis today. We found this one first while the tide was still low. The biggest of this group found it, but it was too hard for him to SL as he had no room to move. So he passed it over to Sis to SL for him. TFTC MaxI125
OCW Meritonnn and Sensible Sis today. We arrived with pen and paper and sorted out the data and required numbers - fairly quickly, I might add. Then strode off to GZ where it took us a few minutes to find the nicely placed container. TFTC sutherlandgeocaching
OCW Sensible Sis and Meritonnn. Despite the accurate coords, it took a few minutes to find this nicely hidden cache. TFTC MaxI125
This is a good informative series. A nice puzzle. OCW Meritonnn and Sensible Sis today.A quick find at GZ thanks to good coords. TFTC MaxI125

5 years ago I DNFed after a lengthy search. As often happens, I made a fairly quick find today. This confirms my 1st Law of Geocaching: Whenever you have a long and painful search/DNF, you usually have some QEFs. Of course, there is a corollary. A great location for a cache, which was very well hidden. TFTC bikerbuddy
Very nice of you to place an Easter cache for kids and us big kids. TFTC WaywardWoman
Managed to get 3 caches from the one parking spot. Quite a bushbash to this one. Tried to follow the old FT from the supplied coords. However, the trail petered out fairly quickly. Good coords at GZ and a view over the lake. TFTC wshoeii
A nice walk along FTs leaving only a 280m bushbash to GZ. Picked a good line down the ever narrowing ridge and fortunately came out right at the "point" and a lovely LO. Extremely accurate coords helped me to soon find the nice hiding spot. Still a bit of a struggle for an arthritic old bloke to reach. Thanks Hoogies for the challenge and for placing this cache in such a scenic location.
I have visited Yellow Rock only a couple of times over the years to help run abseil training for scouts. Today, I visited this area to go hiking and geocaching. TFTC Graubunden

I just noticed that this was published. Sue had forgotten to tell me about it. Hmmmmm. But I'm gunna turn up anyway, and cause the usual amount of trouble as usual. Plus I need to spend all the points accrued on me RSL card.
We had been here before and had quickly sighted the cache but because of the wind that day we didn't attempt a retrieval. We returned today and could not sight the cache.
Us grey-haired pensioners were OCW the equally grey Grey Baron, our trusty home-made TOTT, who made easy work of retrieving this cache. TFTC and puzzle DSD
A nice little detour to this quiet location with an interesting old stone house nearby. TFTC fitzy_1965

A nice quiet location for a cache, and a nice cache. TFTC ThrosbyOnChurch

A straightforward walk from Roast Pork with Apple Sauce following some trails at first and then easy contouring around to GZ. Took a few minutes to sight the nice little hiding spot. SL on Joshwa27's logsheet. This finished the 6 caches in this series for us, taking nearly 2 hours at my pensioner pace, picking up 4 leeches which I allowed to fill up with my blood - knowing that they would probably die from alcoholic poisoning. Thanks wshoeii for this nice series.
I (Dan) returned on me own today in a desperate bid to find this cache or DIE TRYING.After spending over an hour here previously with Meritonnn where we searched what seems like 100 hiding spots at least twice, then we had lunch there and then checked everything for a third time before calling the DNF.Today I found the cache in the 2nd spot that I looked at. Fair dinkum. The first spot I had previously checked and didn't go further as our etrex wanted us much higher. All I had to do was go 2 steps across and I would have had the find a few weeks ago. This was certainly a challenging multi and we certainly got our money's worth out of it. Thank you Riblit
Followed some tracks as I made my way around from Fried Rice with Wontons. At GZ, I walked right by the cache as I decided the T4 rating meant it was higher. After an unsuccessful search up top, I descended and saw the cache poking it's little face out at me. GR8. TFTC wshoeii
Bushbashed from Fried Mushrooms and Beans. The etrex made me zigzag all over the place. Fortunately at GZ another easy find thanks to good coords. TFTC wshoeii
Started this series with this cache. A nice easy walk in via an old FT. Then a surprisingly quick find. There really wasn't anything suspicious to see, except for .... and there it was. TFTC wshoeii
3rd on my circuit. Found a nice trail from Fried Meat and Veg. Another quick find thanks to good coords and logical placement. TFTC wshoeii
Did this one 5th as I thought it might be more convenient in terms of contouring to the final one, Dinner.Ended up mainly bushbashing from Fried Green Tomatoes, finding some trails near GZ. Initially couldn't see a likely hiding spot, until I looked at my feet and there was the cache out in the open. Found that it was signed by the girls guides. After SL, I tucked it away out out sight. In my 20 years as a VL, I never visited this scout camp until today. TFTC Jesa934
Our first law of geocaching is "If you have a QEF then later that day you will invariably have a long painful search." Of course, there is a corollary where the reverse happens. This cache confirmed this law.Earlier in the day we had 2 DNFs - somewhat long and painful. At this cache we expected another lengthy search and probably a DNF. We found the cache in only 3 minutes. Sue made optical contact with the cache when looking in one opening and directed my hand through another opening to reach the cache. TFTC Riblit
A very nice container. Well camoed. Unfortunately, it was left upside down and water has gotten into it and seeped into the cache which has waterlogged the logsheet. TFTC harroandchook
We parked near the TH on Hammers Road and enjoyed the walk to GZ. There were several birds to be seen and heard as well as very nice bushland. Coords were very accurate which made for a quick find. TFTC celtical
A short easy bushbash to GZ. Another great idea for a cache. Thanks for these great field puzzles.
We searched for a few minutes before a smoker walked up nearby. We quickly departed. Sounds like an interesting cache. Will have to return sometime.
This took us a few minutes to find. Very well hidden. Sue suggested what the hint meant, I said "Okay" in a tone that didn't believe her. A minute later, I said "here it is." Of course, I shouldn't have doubted my sweetheart. No wonder I married her 41 years ago.TFTC SEAN0
A nice walk to GZ with a short bushbash. A short search before finding this . A nice location for a cache. Somehow the logbooks were damp but still able to SL. TFTC Riblit
A very good puzzle and hide as well. The puzzle initially appeared too hard for us. However, upon having another look at it, we suddenly realised that it was very similar to one of our own puzzles in Camden. At GZ today, we looked around carefully and were lucky to see something that ... and we suddenly had the well hidden CIH. Thank you very much WRAACie
Another very fine construction. Unfortunately, the cache is full of small black ants. However, they do not bite and were easily shaken off the cache. TFTC SEAN0
We enjoyed a day caching around this area. A nice location for a cache. TFTC Jackscruff
Found the cache container fairly quickly. However, the bottom part was missing along with the logsheet. TFTC setaian

Cycled to GZ today and can confirm that the Equestrian jump, a large table and chairs, where we had the cache hidden have been removed. I did find the logsheet only 3m away and a small piece of plastic which was possibly the remnants of the SD card which we used as our cache container. We may place a cache nearby which means altering the puzzle. Maybe we'll just archive it. We'll think about it for a week or so.
