16-Sep-21
Could I hope to come here some day?
Certainly hope so
Maybe if some friends go
Too late?
8th wave will start on 12/21/2012?
Jeepers, I better get there quick

14-Aug-19
hello old friend, last time i found you you were hiding down a hillside. Dropping trackable

01-Nov-18
The only cache, well one of two, that i had to do. Got drenched on the walk but kid enjoyed it. Thanks for the oldie. Grabbed a couple of tbs.

31-Oct-18
Once i realized what a bridge's butt looks like, easy peasy

Grabbed a couple in Picton. Easy walk from digs.

Highlight of our day, took lots of pictures. Its also a pokemon rich park so was doubly good. Learned a new word.

Frustrated because i cannot solve the checker. I am a Survivor buff and here in Greymarch but i get to my close coordinates and see nothing that matches the hint.

Wanted at least one LBH in NZ and this fit the bill nicely.

Went to see if i could find any early dawn penguins but i found this.

30-Oct-18
We were a little tired after walking Fox glacier so glad this one was easier access. Enjoyed our little traipse to the creek. Greetings from Seattle.

Definitely a more arduous trek than anticipated. Wife dropped out at the creek and son said nope at the last slog up. Couldnt find the oldest sign but did math on what i could find. We also did the other glacier a bit as well. I remember doing an EC in 2 other countries about retreating or advancing glaciers.

Suspension bridges and me are not friends but i made. Trail closed but the intent is not to go farther down the path so seemed fine to get. Thanks.

Quick multi. Wife turned around here for cafe but i said drop me off so i could do this. The cow was indifferent to my presence.

Did not realize agility was needed for this one but kid and i made it. Thanks, from Seattle.

Took us a bit but hint helped out. Kid enjoyed the hunt.

29-Oct-18
Not big into flying but wife and kid made the trek up. They enjoyed the views.

Grabbed on way to view sunset. Not where i was expecting.

27-Oct-18
Long day of driving today but managed this one during it. Reminds me of the glaciers on an iceland beach, just washed up on the beach.

26-Oct-18
We were playing with kid across street when not in caching mode and then came back while caching and went, doh, we were just here!

9/11 i was in Seattle at work and remember talking to wife about it as it unfolded.

Fun geocache, wanted one wherigo in NZ. Log could use some new dry paper but signed as best i could.

Awesome, i appreciate any webbie i can find. Thanks from Seattle.

23-Oct-18
This one gave us fits for a while but then had the aha moment. Hidden very well.

22-Oct-18
Pretty, was surprised to see folks kayaking over it.

Stopped by for virtual on way to nearby lodging. Didnt realize i was in a volcanic caldera lake.

We just had to go to Hobbiton while in NZ. Awesome place. Tour guide had no idea about this.

21-Oct-18
Nice cache, first found in NZ.

Well we wanted a puzzle so this was it. Chaos in the city, no where to park, cops were everpresent but we managed to get this one.

10-Feb-12
this is my 2nd Jasmer Challenge done (though the first one called Jasmer in its title, but it was the same thing) having already done the one in Washington State. Unlike the Fizzy, a Jasmer is just a Jasmer no matter how you call it, same criteria. Oregon got me January 2001, May 2000 and July 2000 (and a 2nd June 2000), the rest of the 2000s (minus Washington) I went to Arizona, Utah and Southern Idaho to finish it. My profile shows all my GSAK fun. Wish I had chosen a less rainy day, was a little nervous on all these roads but I made it. Would rather have a worthy challenge in a crazy isolated spot than in a strip mall LPC any day.

12-Aug-11
we planned this trip a long time ago and was rewarded randomly with an event that showed up here this weekend. I could not do this cache on Saturday where most of the fun was, we did it on Friday but saw a few folks.

Chose to come here for the Jasmer and get an oldie. We sure did not take the best route getting to the cache and kept expanding our search zone a few times before Curious Joe made the great sound of "found it". We could not sit and celebrate though, the bugs were trying to eat us alive, sheesh. We had bug spray but it did not stop them much.

Was a nice jaunt, but the bugs stopped us from taking some cool pics, well, minus Joe's war wounds. Thanks for the oldie and keeping it alive.

dropped 2 trackables and launched another.

cool beans. Got to find one of the oldest caches today, which is nice and cool to go to a cool area as well. My dogs are barking tonight though. Perfect day for it. Nice to see the original logbook. Went over 2 months without the FTF on it. That would not happen these days.
