Yep she's looking a bit run down now. The pigeons have now moved in and it's got a lot of rotten timber. Great view though and certainly worth a look. Tftc

Last of a few in this area today. Lots of people out and about. Pretty easy find although GPS put me in the no go area. TFTC

First find for the day. Nice bit of camo and placement of log! TFTC
Found ok but like a previous cacher said it the logbook is pretty much "glued" in. Even tweezers would not work. Photo taken instead. Was a great day and a fantastic view as promised
This was number 2 for the day and an easy find. TFTC
Auckland Council have done a lot of work and it shows in this interesting walk about in the area. I was surprised at how few people were out and about considering what a great day it was. Still, made it easier to grab the loot without being spotted. TFTC

I approached from the wrong (muddy) side but found it ok. A substantial bit of kit! No way it's going to float away ️
Spent. Quite a bit of time but no joy for me. Plenty of gorse though

Decided to do this 1 after the previous 2 as it did not seem too far away. Not as good a track compared with the previous 1 but still very good. On approach I saw the "leaning" and knew that would be the spot! TFTC
First of 3 for today. Great walk, good track and good to see so much young Kauri.
Second of 3 for the day. Impressive views but not quite clear enough to see Piercy Island. Easy find and great spot. TFTC

Like the 2 before me, this was a Dnf. It seemed clear where it was supposed to be and the hint basically confirmed but I could not find. Great coffee though so well worth the walk from Paihia

Found it. Was terrified I would loose it when replacing but all good. Have crossed this bridge hundreds (possibly 1000's) of times by car and was great to finally walk it. Tftc
